Many countries "adopt the theory of socialism", often to a much greater extent than Israel. India even has socialism in it's constitution, and it is illegal to establish a political party that does not reference socialism in it's platform there. Iran, while it does not outright endorse socialism, is one of the most centrally planned countries on earth and does consider itself "anti-capitalist". Comparatively, Israel is a lot more economically free than many European countries, it is ranked no. 48 on the IEF. France is no. 67. Italy is no. 92. Iran is no. 171. I do not see you criticizing them to the same extent as you do to Israel. "Israel is an extension of European imperialism into the middle east." - but virtually every country in the Americas (the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil) is an extension of European imperialism.

So, for the same reasons, would you oppose criticism of Israel?

I'm not sure what you mean by "western values"... Iran is a totalitarian state. There are many non-western countries that are not totalitarian. I don't know why you want Ahmadinejad to be safe from criticism. He certainly deserves it. He might not want to impose his terrible extreme views on other countries, but he does impose them upon the individuals that live in Iran.

What I said in the topic was directed at those within this movement that have a victim mentality that they are suffering more under tyrannical US presidents than Iranians are under great leaders like Ahmadinejad and Chavez who protects them from the Zionists and "seem like nice guys on Piers Morgan". These people do exist, the Daily Paul is full of them and there's a lot here too.
