December was also peak holiday shopping period so the shutdown should have been somewhat offset by the increased spending by everyone else.

All of that $22T originated from the Federal Reserve System since the Treasury currently does not exercise ability to print sovereign currency, so the debt is ultimately owed to the Fed from which it all came. Every last penny of that $22T is denominated in their private currency. The Fed could be considered the first lien holder on all of it. The holders of debt instruments are merely holders in due course.

McAdams said Macron is an establishment politician and may be the terrible person that the protestors claim he is. How you equate that to "I support Macron and everything he does" is just par for the course of more daily Shillsmyth disinfo drivel. Fortunately, no one takes you seriously here.

Nowhere in that post did McAdams "support Macron". He only questioned whether the yellow vests were an organic revolution or whether they're yet another fomented revolution, which isn't exactly anything new in France (see: Freemasons and the French Revolution) or in "color" revolutions around the world. Your suggestion that McAdams supports Macron and implied that he's some kind of subversive is intentionally meant to cast doubt on RPI and is flat out bs. That's nothing new for you, either.

True, good point. The CIA doesn't work for the US. I forget sometimes that the CIA works for London.

I wonder if posters pushing Venezuela interventionism are feeling the same way now that they're on the same side as Nancy Pelosi and every neocon and neolib warmonger with a Twitter account?

It's even stranger watching supposed libertarians support yet another obvious CIA regime change operation underway in an oil rich region. The libertarian position is non-interventionism. It is their responsibility and their responsibility alone to determine if they want to change their system of government. If we were all confident that we were watching an organic revolution underway, instead of watching the results of international sanctions (which Dr. Paul calls an act of war), blockades, intel agency meddling and other things -on top of- a socialism model, then the response from many of us would probably be different. But that's not the case and anyone that's suggesting that what is happening in Venezuela is purely a result of failed socialism is being intentionally disingenuous or is just ignorant and not worth listening to. Like I said in other threads, for me it's not about socialism vs. capitalism (esp. since we don't even have capitalism here and have been quietly socialist since the New Deal), it's about facts vs. fiction and staying true to noninterventionism. Source? I don't generally care much what other people in public positions think but that's a mighty big claim to make, along with trying to plant a seed that RPI is compromised like you have in your last few posts. It looks to me like it's not RPI that's compromised but there sure are some RPF accounts that are.

Interesting timing, given the eerie REX 84 script being followed. I notice that the interim director was a Marine (like Ollie North and at roughly the same time) and has ties to past Presidents via Camp David, to 9/11 and the Iraq invasion, which means he's probably a Bush family associate.

Interventionism makes for strange bedfellows (not really). Funny (not really) how both the Dems and Repubs fall in line when it comes to intervention/overthrows for oil. Why are Dems pushing for intervention in Venezuela? Pelosi supports Guaido https://www.care2.com/causes/why-are-democrats-pushing-for-us-intervention-in-venezuela.html

Power costs have doubled since CFL and LED bulbs were introduced. People wouldn't go back to old style bulbs for long, at least not after that first power bill shows up. Besides, if the small handful of bulb manufacturers only make LED bulbs and retailers only sell LED bulbs, regulations don't matter. The shift already happened.

Quick math says $46 billion to cover all 2000 border miles. Where do I sign up to bid on that contract? I'll hire a bunch of Mexicans for $5/hr and they can build it from the Mexico side without touching the US side.

Their rating system doesn't make much sense. I removed the entry tied to my name a while back but I looked and someone I know has a 3.5 rating. This person has a spotless record, a top secret security clearance, very secure finances and is in her early 60's. A 3.5 out of 5.0. Yeah sounds legit.

Only $23 million per mile for some fence. What a bargain! (Jeez, who is going to get stupid rich from this nonsense? The real way to get stupid (FRN) rich these days is government contracts.)

No one claiming to be remotely informed can call $22trillion in national debt, with hundreds of trillions in unfunded liabilities, where every FRN in existence is created from debt and where none of us legally own anything simply because you can't pay a debt with more debt, to be "rich" and "prosperous". All that you view as "wealth" is debt and best believe that the creditors fully intend to collect on every last fiat penny of that debt. Immigrants that come here thinking that this is a "rich" country are ignorant of the reality of the situation. The funny part is that apparently you are no more educated to the reality than they are. It's a 3rd grade level education talking point, nothing more.

edit: SCRATCH THIS---> I think his replacement is appointed by the Governor (Cooper-D) but Law will be the GOP nominee next election cycle and it's a pretty conservative district. Raleigh Observer says special election. Phil Law has been waiting for this moment for many years. Total MIC/AIPAC type. The other primary challenger, Scott Dacey, was a GWB admin official so it looks bleak. https://www.newsobserver.com/news/politics-government/article226085380.html asurfaholic - you ready to run for Congress, bro? Between this and the 9th District election still up-in-the-air, NC will have two empty House seats for a while. Good chance the 9th gets a new election also, with formal board decision set for hearing on the 18th-20th.

Doesn't mean it is 100% but creating buzz through controversy is the method used these days to bring attention to something. Ya know what they say in Hollywood, there's no such thing as bad publicity. The show is long in the tooth and ratings have been steadily dropping, even to the point of Fox considering cancelling the show entirely. With his story not making much sense, the show on the ropes (pardon the pun....and his paychecks too...betcha he pissed away most of his money already....he's eating at Subway) and new episodes premiering soon, forgive me if I think this reeks of a publicity stunt to get Empire back into the news cycle.

Wise up and apply exactly what happened with the financial "crisis" to the immigration "crisis" and then suddenly you'll see the pattern. If someone still can't see the pattern then they probably should stop commenting on anything more advanced that Kim and Kanye.
