All of those charts show that hispanics vote for Democrats after they are here, settled and can generally legally vote. Where's the charts showing how all of the immigrants arriving are arriving already socialist? That is the crux of your, Shillsmyth's and other's arguments, after all. "The hordes of socialist illegals" or similar phrasing. What those charts show can easily be explained, and often has been by my own writing here, by the fact that they are courted by the Democrats for their votes. Yes, courted with a message of free stuff perhaps, but courted nonetheless. Republicans spend all of their time insulting them ("invaders") and avoiding trying to win their support. In that light, is it any major surprise that they register and vote Democrat??? Right side up it's also the '666' sign. Trump made it incessently during the campaign and for a while into his presidency. I'm inclined to think that's not a 'white supremacy' handsign and is more a calling card hand sign that it was a deep state op. There is some cross-over between the two, however, if you look into the goals of some secret societies.

So back to New Zealand... It's odd to me that the court ordered the (main) shooter's face blurred out in all photos/vids/publications. Anybody else seen that done before?

I don't consider military at the border to be a police state measure, per se, any more than Border Patrol at the border is. It is something that should be carefully undertaken but it's not a police state measure. It's around 73 pages, isn't it? No, I didn't read it. Don't need to. I'm sure we could cover every little bit and piece of it if we wanted to but there's no need to circle the thread right back into the whole "socialist hispanic" nonsense that some parrot endlessly, especially even after it's been proven that it's a falsehood.

That may be the case, just as long as you're not trying to characterize Dr. Paul's position as calling for walls, biometrics or other more police state measures like some do. Your question doesn't make sense in context of Dr. Paul's quote. Any way, this thread isn't about your hispanic pet peeve so why the hell is it turning into one? It's a thread about a cold-blooded attack on unarmed, defenseless people in New Zealand, not hispanics at the US/Mexico border. Can we get back to the thread topic please?

Full quote for context: "Q: When you ran for president in 1988, you said, “As in our country’s first 150 years, there shouldn’t be any immigration policy at all. We should welcome everyone who wants to come here and work.” You’ve changed your view. A: And during that campaign I got into trouble with Libertarians because I said there may well be a time when immigration is like an invasion and we have to treat it differently. My approach to immigration is somewhat different than the others. Mine is you deal with it economically We’re in worse shape now because we subsidize immigration. We give food stamps, Social Security, free medical care, free education and amnesty. So you subsidize it, and you have a mess. Conditions have changed. And I think this means that we should look at immigration differently. It’s an economic issue more than anything. If our economy was in good health, I don’t think there’d be an immigration problem. We’d be looking for workers and we would be very generous." Nothing about round-ups, walls, surveillance networks or the rest of the police state measures some here are pushing.

Definitions of "false flag" aside, the cold precision and execution of his mission makes me think he is or recently was a military operator. Just playing COD or Fortnite or whatever and being "radicalized" over the internet doesn't prepare someone to be so military-like in mowing down 40+ unarmed people in cold blood without so much as a hand tremor. Only trained military operators and complete, utter psychopaths (often one and the same) are capable of such things. For god sake, can you please give this shit a rest for just one friggin' day? It's bad enough that you're here on RPF constantly throwing around the same terminology that this person did (calling everyone "invaders" mainly, which shows what that leads to) but even in this thread you're actively trying to turn into yet another Red v Blue pissing match.

Here we call them "bailouts" and "subsidies". Privatize the profits, socialize the losses. You think there aren't price controls here? Dude, price controls are one of the Fed's congressionally legislated mandates! Then there's the entire social security system, welfare state, military industrial complex, ad nausem, all of which are redistribution of the people's wealth at the whim of the government. Tis socialism but using soft language.

That's not a reply to my post but it is a standard deflection from you when facts are presented that you have no way to spin without looking clueless. Venezuela has many private companies. Venezuela pools monetary resources for redistribution by the government. Sounds familiar, no?

I have but that was just an example of justification. IOW, if AOC says something Republicans are supposed to automatically go the exact opposite direction, no matter how true what she said is. It is the end result of such extreme polarization that's been intentionally inserted into governance/politics these days. Just like how if Trump says something Dems automatically run the opposite direction. It's quite easy to control each side using this tactic.

Something like that. Maduro's Venezuela isn't nearly as 'socialist' as is claimed by the mainstream voices or the shills, outside of their oil industry. It's socialist about like the US is socialist. They're just more honest about it. We spend a lot of effort lying to ourselves about it here. Any way my previous post wasn't easy to write because it's a hard concept to put into words. Take it however you will.

No one is supporting Maduro, but you knew that. We just know what this whole Guaido thing is about and we've seen it over and over. Non-intervention means staying out of other's people's business, not necessarily supporting the decisions they make or the type of system they live under. You'd have to be a goddamned idiot to think that it's just coincidence that multiple hydropower dams failed, multiple substations caught fire and the country was thrown into darkness right at the same time that the regime change operation looked to be sputtering. Here's a pro tip: regime change operations aren't ultimately about changing the leaders themselves. Regime change operations are about managing the people that live there, their perceptions of their life and what they support, and, of course, controlling the resources that they labor on. That's like saying that swapping out GWB and Obama resulted in grand differences in how this country was run. It didn't. Wars continued, bankers still controlled everything, government still grew, etc. It only changed the people's perspective of how they were managed. Leaders come and go, elected or not. What matters is controlling the perceptions of the masses existence.

Seems to me that the 'herding the sheep" technique being used almost exclusively these days is to use a (created and intentionally placed) polarizing figure to say or advocate something so that the herd automatically, unthinkingly, runs to oppose it, whatever it is. In this case, AOC makes comments about Israel so of course the Republicans that may have been starting to question things like $38B payments to build Israel's walls, while the wall promised to Republicans isn't materializing, automatically run back to support Israel unconditionally. They quickly forget about the $38B and walls and are right back firmly on the plantation. This sort of duality tactic is being used on everything and everyone and not even subtly any more.

Good info to be found on pure econ conditions, yes, but headlines like this one don't do it any favors. The first comment on that article calls the sponsors "DEMONAZIS". Sheesh. I know 3 of the 4 sponsors and they aren't nazis. Democrats, yes, but nazis? Actually pretty good people that care about the school system and their districts. Hmm....Trump could order the Fed nationalized under the Treasury, however. Then, Powell would be serving at the pleasure of the President and could be fired. That's paper entity perception games, of course, but it could be done. Plenty of precedent and EO's of .gov granting itself nationalization powers.

Some might even wonder if there's a symbolic message being imparted over Boeing 'crashing', considering Boeing is the heaviest weighted stock on the Dow index. One also might look at where Boeing is headquartered....even down to the zip code, if looking for symbolic messages.

I'm gonna say 'yes'. Publicly announced PPT activation to provide that first (ever-constant-on-historical-crash-charts) bear market rally was the first sign. Bonds not responding to that PPT rally was the second sign. Trotting Powell out onto 60 Minutes is the third sign.

DoD budget up to near $800B and that's just the on-the-books (DoD...books...lol pffft) spending for one budget request. The supplementals and special war funds and whatnot are always extra. IIRC, that means DoD budget has approximately doubled over the last 8-10 years.

Hello RPF friends, I'd like to officially introduce RPF to TWO great candidates that are running for the NC-09 US House seat that is undergoing a "re-do election". Each offers appeal, whether you are a Libertarian Party platform supporter or a Republican Party platform supporter. I personally know both gentlemen and can emphatically attest to their genuine status as supporters of RPF's mission. Integrity, Liberty, Privacy, Prosperity, to name a few. Both deserve your support, whether through campaign donations, word-of-mouth or direct campaign assistance. The Republican primary is May 14, so the election schedule is compressed. Not much time to make things happen... Republican Matthew Ridenhour https://voteridenhour.com/ Libertarian Jeff Scott https://lpmeck.org/candidates/jeff-scott/ Please visit their websites and PM me if you want more info or can help somehow. This is a great opportunity to support good candidates!

It's obvious that the stock markets have been held up by various PPT (domestic and international) mechanisms and have been used to keep the average person thinking "everything is ok" even while indicators show that not to be the case. I mean, they even announced it in the beginning of January 2019 that the PPT was activated. Since then, honest statistics have shown that insiders are selling. "Beware the Ides of March" does indeed look like when they start pulling the plug on the supports. Boeing's new plane with a 5000 unit backlog is falling out of the sky. Must be time to upgrade Apple to 'buy' for no f'in reason. It's comical. Jesus, just look at this morning's Dow chart:

What the hell are you talking about? Who said anything about the Fed restarting QE today? Can you post a chart of today's S&P500 for us so we can see that red 5 point close. Lower than expected. That's one way to put it, I guess. Since prior month's reports are invariably quietly revised downward, sometimes yugely, the real number likely showed negative job growth for the month.

Price tags is all that matters to the average person when they go shopping for what they need to maintain the productivity you refer to. Productivity means value of the energy outputted versus the input costs necessary to extract that energy, yes? I won't get into how that essentially is the equation for managing the overall slave class but I try to look at it in more than simply human resource management terms. If that's how you view it, that's fine, but it comes off as elitist. And again, this is all ignoring how somehow debt=wealth, in addition to how few have any "wealth" in the first place since few actually own anything outright or of actual value. The definition of wealth is so badly corrupted that it's pointless to even use the word any more. Either way, basic logic says that expanding the current system will only lead to expanding the same results thus far, not lead to a different result entirely. I did ask for your metrics first and haven't seen any. Perhaps Zippy can help? But yes, various welfare programs, government entitlements are on the whole rising and the unfunded liabilities reported continue to grow.

You're going to need to present some metrics to demonstrate that, seeing how food prices continue higher, energy prices continue higher, transportation costs continue higher, among others. What I think you're seeing is the appearance of "less is more". For example, yes, someone's power bill may be only marginally higher than 10 years ago but that is not because someone can buy more power. It is because the consumption of power has been lessened, while the cost of the power has risen. That is not buying the same amount of stuff. It is buying a lesser amount of stuff for the same or more cost. My own average power bill hasn't risen much but the kwh rate has doubled. Need some metrics on that too. The amount of people on various government assistance programs seems to indicate the opposite. The only poor getting richer that I see are the imported poor. And that's only if you ignore that somehow debt=wealth these days. Bottom line is that the logical progression of these policies leads to an equally poor 99% (really poor boosted, current poor stagnant, not-yet-poor becoming poor) and a fabulously wealthy 1%. That is a socialist outcome. At least own it if that's what you're advocating.

Fair enough, you didn't, but here in the real world of Keynesian central bank economics, prices continue to rise. Suppressing wages only serves to keep price inflation low enough that it can be hidden through various means instead of rocketing up faster than it can be managed. See Fed's dual mandate. We've already imported a lot of cheap labor and prices still rise while wages are still suppressed, as intended. I don't see how doing more of the same, but on a grander scale, will yield a different result. How does expanding a policy that has led to the rich getting richer while the poor get poorer suddenly become the rich getting richer and the poor getting richer, unless you're referring to the newly imported poor getting richer while the current poor continue to stagnate and the not-yet-poor getting poorer? I don't have a problem with immigration as a whole but pushing for more of it, specifically to keep labor costs and wages down, only rewards those at the top and the newly imported poor.
