I haven't seen the beef bacon around here (Charlotte) anywhere. What was the cost difference compared to same weight of pork bacon?

It'll be so the big players can move their money around and convert FRNs into other vehicles without being harassed while the "big shift" (reset?) occurs. Money laundering doesn't apply to the little people since they don't have enough money to worry about it.

It's entertaining watching the giant charades going on to cover for the loss of sole global reserve status of the dollar. Trump's hyper-nationalism, border tax stories, immigration conflicts, etc. It's overall not a bad thing for Americans to go back to work, rebuild infrastructure during the last gasp of the FRN, etc but it is entertaining to see just how far the bankers will go to ensure no one looks at the monetary system as the root. Distract, distract, distract. Just don't tell them that it's the money! I do hope Americans realize that as this process works it's way out it means that Americans better learn how to work again and better learn in a damn hurry. There's going to be a lot of people that are used to the "easy life" that will suddenly find themselves facing the choice of either working long and hard or struggling every day.

Ding ding ding winner! Often false narratives about scarcity to explain price inflation. Expect these sorts of stories to become more and more common. Though in the case of bacon, we can't seriously think that the largest bacon producing companies can be sold to the Chinese (Smithfield, eg) and not expect them to send much of it back to China, creating shortages here. Signs of the end of the higher standard of living that Americans are used to as the end of the FRN global standard quickens.

So you're not going to answer the question about what you do then? If you're so confident that the UCC is "bullshit" (which is an absurd statement since it clearly exists and is the code that courts operate under), I'd like to hear your evidence that it is bullshit. Clearly you are an authority on the the subject so help us out. So I guess we both posted unsourced assertions about what the reality is. Here's the funny part. I've actually used those principles in court and walked away a free man, with frustrated, cursing lawyers left in my wake. That's how I know it's not bullshit. What's your evidence? ------------------ (eta: You haven't lived until a prosecutor has called you a 'motherfucker' twice in open court and you still walked out the door scot-free, case dismissed. Yes, there are trigger-happy cops and corrupt lawyers but not being an idiot around cops avoids the trigger part and once the lawyers and judges know that you know their game, they do try to pull tricks but they do also otherwise act honorably if you don't fall for them.)

Hmm, ok. What do you do for a living? You previously stated on RPF that you encounter "sovereign citizen" (which is an oxymoron and makes me question your knowledge and/or motives) stuff in your line of work. I can't imagine what line of work you'd be in, other than a cop, lawyer or court staff where you would encounter "sovereign citizens". Poor strawman. In fact, all of your posts in this thread are weak sauce. Choosing a few lines out of a 125 page pdf book reeks of disinfo. Btw, the contents of the pdf are accurate. Possibly painting with a broad brush but the history and information is indeed accurate. Your failure to acknowledge it doesn't change that.

You're a lawyer, right jllunqu? I recall you admitting previously that you are in the legal profession in some form. Can't imagine why you'd have an interest in suppressing the pdf info ;)

It's one thing to just "do your job" as a general disinfo agent, but it's another to purposely put people's lives in danger by downplaying serious scenarios, thus actively trying to dissuade people from taking life-saving steps. AN EMERGENCY EVAC ORDER HAS BEEN ISSUED AND THERE'S CONCERN THE ENTIRE DAM MAY START FALLING APART AND YOU'RE POSTING THAT BULLSHIT?

This is a big deal. I'm a bit surprised it's not getting more attention across cyberspace. Trump's statement is yuuuuge in a monetary sense. If all currencies are brought to parity and cash is eliminated, then there becomes truly only one unit of monetary account for the entire planet. That's the global currency as depicted on the Economist cover from the 80's, the Phoenix, set to be unveiled by/in 2018. Once there is parity and no cash, it doesn't matter what "national" currencies are called. They will all be the same currency. I've predicted for years that it will be characterized as a "gold backed" digital currency and each country will retain the localized name of their currency (dollar, drachma, pound, etc). That will be an illusion since there will be no exchange rate, thus making them all units of the same system, just with different names. Trump's admission is a big one.

Oh boy. I just wrote up a long reply to your post but deleted it and instead decided it's easier to direct you to find online a pdf titled "The Great American Adventure". Just understand the old "what has been seen can not be unseen" saying before you decide whether to read it or not. The history of this country is very, very different than what we have been indoctrinated into believing.

If that were true, why so vague? Seems it would be in the general best interest to let every American know what the specific threats are.

devil21 replied to a thread Silver madness! in Economy & Markets
Oyarde deprived himself of imaginary dollars in a digital stock account that he never owned, which he could have possibly converted into physical metals. Not of it was ever his. Some folks, however, feel that a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Alchemy isn't for everyone ;) Ignorance has an even higher cost than both. Placing faith in imaginary digits in digital stocks in brokerage accounts that one never owns is rather ignorant. Btw, the stock markets are going up because the FRN is quietly being devalued. Both stocks and metals are hedges. Only one is in the hand, though.

This is a good point. A libertarian should usually raise an eyebrow and take a step back if he finds himself agreeing with a Zippy post. Odds are that the post, particularly if a thread starter, is an agenda-furthering post of some sort. Analyze how that post can further central powers in the context of future events, not necessarily current affairs.

The Constitution is a legal guideline for the corporate government entity. It's not the law of the land and doesn't have to be followed. It's entertaining watching the various branches of government go about their checks and balances while being careful to avoid spilling that can of beans. History matters. (it's why all branches are filled with lawyers that know that simple truth. It is worth noting that the current state of general disarray could be confusion attributed to an ongoing return to constitutional republic status, away from the corporate status of the last 150+ years. Few seem to be able to confirm if the republic is indeed being reinstated, however.)

^^^^^ Learn how to can/preserve, particularly over open fires or wood stoves. Also, the human body can sustain on remarkably small amounts of food as long as basic nutritional needs are met. Much less food than the average American usually eats. I've also read a lot of evidence that smaller diets actually improve brain function and metabolic efficiency. Who'd a thunk that heavy eaters also tend to not think very hard? Somehow humans managed to survive before the days of Kroger and in much more labor intensive environments than current day. I do think those days of physical labor are coming back sooner than most realize.

lol Like the game was going to be allowed to be over by halftime. Who didn't think the Patriots would come "roaring back" in the second half? Nice planned offsides by Freeney to ensure the Pats got two shots at the 2pt conversion. So rigged.
