I dont think there will be a full-fledged war between the US and Iran. Killing the current petrodollar standard requires Saudi oil infrastructure to be badly, badly damaged (or at least claimed to be) thus breaking the dollar>Saudi oil link. Any war will likely be between Iran and Saudis. Seems to me that Iran is already playing ball with the global bankers since they have a cryptocurrency now in place, monetary ties to Europe via a system that bypasses dollar-based SWIFT system, Chinese oil deals and Russian trade deals in place, etc, so all of this is mostly just posturing for the masses. I certainly could be wrong but it appears to me that Iran is already on board with the bankers so it wouldn't make much sense to go blowing them up. Blowing up the Saudis oil trade for a period, on the other hand, would serve the de-dollarization plan quite well, though.

These vegan burgers are loaded with MSG. It's relabeled under various soy names such as soy protein isolate or disodium guanulate (sp?) but it's the same thing as MSG. Chemical that tricks the brain into thinking something tastes better than it actually does. My SO is a vegan of 10+ years and eats a lot of the Beyond burgers. I was tempted to try one just for giggles until I looked at the label and saw that it included MSG on the label TWICE under two different names, plus other ingredients I am sensitive to. So, no vegan burgers for me even if I wanted them. Which I don't.

Fed announced ongoing repos for the next few weeks, including some termed longer than overnight. There's multiple reasons this could be happening, or combination of them. Someone is trying to get rid of a lot of Treasuries (Chinese?) and the Fed is soaking them up fast so they don't distort the open market. High debt issuance by the Treasury is loading up the primary dealers with Treasuries to the point they're running out of cash and need to offload to the Fed asap. A few banks are having liquidity problems (DB?) and need to offload Treasuries for cash. That's just three likely possibilities.

Read the links I posted earlier in the thread about the Manufacturing of Greta Thunberg. It's really not the "left" propping her up. It's the same ol' banks and megacorps funding and directing the green initiative that are propping up the organizations that directly prop up Thunberg. Rockefellers, Dow Chemicals, Shell Oil, Goldman, etc propping up Greenpeace, WWF, e.g., who in turn prop up Thunberg. I really advise people to read the full 6 part series at that link I posted earlier in the thread to understand what's really going on. The usual suspects want to "unlock" the roughly $100T pension and investment fund markets that are tied into the current status quo and redirect that money back into their coffers via "green initiatives and technology". More specifically, a giant wealth transfer from western markets aimed at developing out banking and corporate control of currently "unbanked" areas like in Africa. The catch is that they need everyone to consent to it and buy in....enter Greta and associated public mouthpieces to sell it. eta: Plus, with a giant chunk of that "locked" money tied to aging western boomers, getting it redirected and spent elsewhere so it is not "inheritable", and then cashed out, by heirs in the west (inheritances are bad for socialism agenda) is another aim.

Quick search says the "personal issue" is a recent barroom brawl that Byard was involved in, not the fact that some of his close associates at FEMA are under indictment. Not much info on the net about the brawl. The best people. Though I will say that it's somewhat refreshing to see bribery and other corruption offenses being prosecuted lately. I don't think it's really draining the swamp much but it's nice to see that at least they're going through the motions a little.

Don't waste your time. CaptainAmerica is a troll account. As if sourcing business from China, like 90% of manufacturing related businesses had to do to some extent over the last 20 years to remain in business, makes one suddenly not a libertarian. By my estimation, he's probably the only truly libertarian Congressman in DC. Lots of lukewarm types or outright frauds but he's the real deal imo.

I like Stossel in general but I've learned that anyone that's given a spotlight (especially "news" related like Fox News) is likely controlled opposition and should not be blindly trusted about anything.

How the Iraq war worked out depends entirely on who you're asking. Worked out great for Halliburton, oil companies, weapons manufacturers. Not so great for soldiers or taxpayers. I'm sure Graham would call it a smashing success.

^^^^^ NPR source article: This would explain why Great Value brand yogurt went from $1 to $1.24 for no reason several months ago. Creeping up prices on non-tariff items to prevent price shock on tariff items. If the yogurt isn't in NPR's 70 item basket then that increase to offset tariff increases isn't considered at all, thus making the 70 item Walmart basket study mostly useless.

Presumably prices would increase to account for any new currency in circulation and the increased velocity. After diving deep down the rabbit hole of how our economic system really works, I'm inclined to think this UBI is actually our currency (aka the value of our labor) that's been sitting unused in trust, under control of the Treasury, the whole time the current system has been in effect. Explaining the entire rationale behind that opinion would take a very long post (goes into the whole ALL CAPS NAME securitized birth certificates, mutual fund trading profits from the BC's etc, for those that have looked into it at all) but I think it's just distributing to the people what is already theirs and calling it a "benefit". A previously unclaimed benefit but not "new" currency being created. The entire economic system has been socialist since the New Deal... Zippy will be here any moment to try to shut down my posts on that topic....3....2....1....

Orange Man never mentions Agenda 21 2030, which is the real driving force behind our future autonomous electric car utopia. Presidents come and go, temporarily fiddle with policies for political expedience but the real force is never mentioned. Often, the fiddling itself is for the purpose of furthering A2030, even.

Good for him. I won't call him that, though. He's Robert Francis O'Rourke, the Irish Catholic. Regarding Robert Francis O'Rourke's comment about rifle buybacks, what he's suggesting is no different than the gold "confiscation" of 1933. That 1933 event was a business deal, since the metals were paid for by the government, not confiscated without compensation. No one was ever prosecuted for failing to turn in their gold since no one can force you into a contractual business arrangement. Same would apply to any rifle buyback "law".

That Biden answer on black communities was brutal. Holy cow. That was worse than when RP asked McCain about the PPT. And everyone should start calling "Beto" by his real name. Robert Francis O'Rourke, the Irish Catholic. By using their fake names you're supporting their fake narratives.

I didn't waste my time watching that hot mess but how did Castro qualify and not Gabbard? She's loads more popular than Castro is. There's even a giant Tulsi 2020 billboard on a major interstate right after you cross into SC from NC.
