You really should have posted this thread to GenPol since his philosophy is so integral to Trump admin Cabinet appointee's goals. It's getting no attention buried in this subforum.

What I want to see is Ron himself involved. Videos from Ron. Elon on the Liberty Report. Ron meeting with Donald. Things like that. Without actual video proof, it's very likely that statements "from Ron Paul", like in Swordy's tweet, are actually Paul Inc. productions being passed off as statements from Ron himself. In other words, don't springboard off of Ron's notoriety and past statements and platform but not demonstrate his actual involvement. Paul Inc. has had a habit of doing this in the past as part of their cozying up with the GOP cash gravy train. Without direct evidence of Ron himself being engaged I will assume it's more of the same from Paul Inc. For anyone unaware of the history, "Paul Inc." is the group of people who popped up during Ron's pres campaigns as soon as they smelled CASH. Benton, that guy who owned Sabre and literally bought yachts with Paul supporter's donations, Doug Wead and others. They never were ideological allies of the campaigns. They simply smelled CASH from the movement that Ron inspired. That is Paul Inc. It is separate and distinct from the living man Ron.

I stumbled upon a very interesting tidbit about much of the incoming Trump administration. Many of the selections share an affinity for a gentleman named Curtis Yarvin (aka Moldbug something-or-other) and his philosophy of "authoritarian libertarianism". The more I look into him and his philosophy the more all of these Cabinet picks make sense and it's a good bet that some close version of Yarvin's philosophy is what will be implemented. It all tracks very closely. Welcome, but don't get your hopes up too high if you're a young libertarian minded person. This used to be a libertarian forum but it's not really anymore, especially since Trump showed up and paid shills and bots started proliferating the internet. Use discernment and never blindly believe or follow anyone else's opinions. Think for yourself based on your experiences, your personal beliefs, your understanding of history (most of "history" taught and parroted to society is utter bullshit), etc, not what others try to convince you to believe. May as well put a footnote saying "Only rich people with time to kill need apply. Insider trading knowledge of what gets cut will pay for you. As long as the SEC doesn't come after you". Add an ironclad insider trading exception and blanket immunity from any kind of enforcement related to the work and they'd probably get more interest.
