Trump was encouraging violence throughout his campaign. It should come as no surprise that violence occurred.

Rights do not come from the Constitution, nor the determination of a majority of people. Rights exist because YOU exist. The most essential of those Rights is Property Rights. Not in what you own, but what you are. Your Property Right is the Right of Self Ownership. The Right is extended to other physical items because of what you are has allowed you to create or acquire those things. That is the REAL source of Authority. Any time someone decides to deprive you of your property, that is a Violation of Rights, UNLESS negotiation has taken place in some form. That could be as simple as letting your neighbors kids play with your kid in your yard. When that negotiation has not taken place, you also have a Right do defend your own property against the violations of others. The extent of Defense should be within reason. You wouldnt shoot your neighbors child if they came over, knocked on your door, and asked if your kid could come outside to play. I think we can agree that is excessive, hence, Minimal Necessary Force. In the case of a Car Thief, you cant just shoo them away, or politely ask "dont steal my car" or "dont beat me within an inch of my life". If they are stealing your car, they have determined their own needs outweigh your Self Authority, thus, the Minimal Necessary Force to stop a car thief can be understood as "stop or I will shoot you". And if they do not stop, then be prepared to shoot them because they will have no problem shooting you just to take what you got. --- Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add "within the limits of the law", because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."

There are a lot of contributing factors for Intellectual Decline, so it isnt just limited to cell phones. There are quite a few ways to cause harm to the mind. They can be broken into several major categories. First of which is a Polarized perspective with "Presence" and "Absence". The Presence means that the mind takes in information that is incorrect, and just means that the information is "present". The other big way, which is limited to just this perspective, is "Absence". Information which the mind needs is simply not available. From just one point of view, the way that Cell Phones damage the mind is by Absence. I think we can all agree that Cell Phones are VERY distracting. What we arent considering quite as heavily is what would normally occupy the minds of people if the cell phone were not there, and what type of learning would occur without the distraction of a cell phone. Im too distracted to go out and play, or do laundry, or do work, or LEARN. But what kind of Learning? Learning about the intricacies of human communication? Learning how big of a role Body Language plays in how we communicate? That is a form of damage that Cell Phone distraction also causes to the mind, but is also very limited in its perspective as there are many ways that it can happen.

We actually need government to stop doing something about this. I posted (see post 4) a story the the US military paying for this kind of thing. The subject of the OP story is 24 years old. I'm guessing transsexual surgery ain't cheap. A 24 year old is likely not paying for this. I'm guessing government has a hand in it somewhere.

It's funny how the reporter called this spaceship a "UFO." I suspect some of the self-loathing Germans might not be so self-loathing anymore. There's a whole new generation out there. The company was probably exercising PR control. And, nobody wants to get thrown in jail.

That was listed previously. Retirement. Going to school and not working while attending. Stay at home mothers and fathers. People not working so they can take care of family or relatives who may be disabled or ill.

Almost all of the reduction in April came from Russia who has been trying to prop up the value of their ruble- $47.4 billion of the total $47.6 billion net reduction in foreign holdings. They are also trying to raise more money due to the costs of sanctions imposed on them by the EU and US. Russia holdings are now $48.7 billion putting them below Bermuda. Russia now has 0.8% of all foreign held US debt and 0.0002% of all US debt. A pretty insignificant amount. Compared to one year ago, foreign holdings of US debt are up $109 billion. http://ticdata.treasury.gov/Publish/mfh.txt

There are a lot of reasons for trade deficits to occur. What you uses for money is not one of them. One is relative wealth. As a more extreme example consider one country has $100 and the other country has $1. The poorer country could not possibly be able to afford to purchase as many goods as the rich country can afford to buy from them. One is resources. One country may have resources which the other country needs but the other one has little the other country needs. Less an issue today with fracking but consider a country like Saudi Arabia or Bahrain. They have lots of oil which we want lots of but because of their tiny (relative) populations, we don't have much they need to buy from us.

It's funny how you and Zip are almost always in lockstep on these issues, going against the grain of most of the liberty minded people here. It's not a coincidence. This is just another indicator of your financial incentive here. And, your group shuns discussing what should be, in favor of your seemingly practical analysis. So, you make these arguments against gold. Do you also lean toward a so-called cashless society? `

Convenience often comes with a cost. 7-11 is convenient, but the goods are pricier. Credit cards are convenient, but they have a cost. Credit card companies would like to sell us a "cashless" society, because it means more money for them.

Thoughtomator is right. You even started your straw man with the word "so," which makes straw man detection that much easier. Here is your first sentence to Thoughtomator: I love it when people get frustrated to the point of declaring themselves the winner. And, they usually use the word "destroyed" in their declaration.
