If a person asserts their rights they stand no chance. If he went to court and submitted his video he would be found at fault for an illegal turn. Even if the person had done nothing wrong and that could be proven by the video, the guy was detained and would have to bow down to a gown or risk incarceration for contempt. Lose lose. This person was driving responsibly considering the conditions. When no traffic is to be found, staying in a particular lane serves no purpose. Is the driving in this next video acceptable?

I have a brother that pretty much destroyed his health and life over addiction. Booze, cocaine, heroin been a tough road for him. I never touched heroin and have no desire to. With that said, I remember reading somewhere probably on the Erowid files site that smoking poppies is pretty harmless. I would think if drugs were legal and people could fire up a bowl of opium or drink an extract, they would be higher functioning. I don't think it is the drug that ruins them it is the legal system, the expense, and society. If a guy could grow his own poppies and smoke as he desired he would probably not have any issues. I have seen full fledged alcoholics criticize people for smoking weed or doing other drugs. Obese people look down on people that do drugs like they are trash. Addiction is addiction. Look in the mirror and accept some responsibility for ones own actions.

I have seen the endless clips of every anchor parroting a narrative. However, I think people like Hannity, Tucker, Ingraham, Rush, need to find their own material and narrative. I will agree that there are limits that their bosses set but I don't think they just say whatever they are told to say. I think they might be told what not to say rather than what to say.

Not that you're wrong - in a free market I'd agree. But we have a massive welfare state, and people who want to come in and abuse it and vote for even bigger government. It's self defense. The OP wasn't about that, though. You are concerned about the property owners. I know there are a few who don't want it, and they are featured throughout the news. But I would think most property owners would want something to protect their land and themselves. In addition they get a payout and the value of their land goes up. Sine it's a wall, they aren't really losing much property, it's on the border of their property.

If I were a property owner there, I'm pretty sure I would be happy to have a wall on the edge of my property. I believe it would increase the value of the land. Not to mention, I would be negotiated a payout. Seems like a win-win all around.

Optimally, yes. Sub-optimally, we could bring the troops home from Afghanistan and have them guard poppy fields here instead.

One of the topics was government run heroin injection sites.. is that the best way to treat the addiction? I think legalization of all drugs is the best way to combat these dangerous opiates.. but.. If you had to have a government program to combat heroin addiction, what I would do, is grow thai sticks. It is cannabis laced with opium. You soak the sticks in opium then grow buds around the sticks. Give out the nugs to the heroin addicts, and they'll smoke their thai sticks and be perfectly fine. Over time you can weaken the amount of opium in the herb slightly, and give out organic herb with no opium to the ones who want to quit.

Makes me think of Woodrow Wilson's speech at the end of his term. "I am a most unhappy man..." yeah, that one, and he was referring to having created the Federal Reserve, and the IRS.

No, but he has been promoting the idea that cannabis causes psychiatric disorders and increases in violence... and increase in teen use even though states that have legalized have seen a drop in teen use.

Trump is stirring the pot more than any president in my lifetime. I am glad he is in the office. Controversy shines a light in the dark. He is king of controversy. I have to take my hat off to him. He is a boss even with Russiagate, Stormygate, wallgate, Cohengate..... He is the master gate keeper.

All trips should be planned when congress is not in session. Funding should come from their budget. Airfare should be paid for from budget expenses also.

So, what happens when People are treated as Property under Eminent Domain? For example, since Immigrants need money and food, why not just make YOU work for them? Nothing you work for is your own, and because "they have a greater need", they deserve your stuff, your labor, what you would buy with money earned from that labor, and they will not be expected to contribute to the system that supports them. How could such a system not collapse?

No one can learn about the world by not interacting with it. Put the fucking cell phone away, go learn to have a conversation, cook a meal, use a screwdriver, change a lightbulb, and actually interact and talk with people instead of texting the person youre in the same fucking room with.

Distract, Divide, Conquer. What is the easiest thing to get most people to focus on? Easy. Themselves. The whole thing about attacking males serves several purposes. First, it weakens the mindset of those who are capable of fighting the elite. Next, it persuades those who should be supporting strong healthy masculinity to attack every male they see. People of that mindset will expect Govt to take care of them while simultaneously making the real men out there no longer want to fight to protect those that also constantly attack them by Backstabbing them repeatedly. Next, it serves as a Major Distraction while the real rulers carry out even more offensive plans that the MSM does not think is worth reporting, oh, you know, little shit like passing bills which fully legalizes Propaganda, some new war, even a Civil War, etc.

Great concept on the governments part. Make something/anything illegal. Then make it legal again and tax it. The only tax they should make off the sale of cannabis is sales tax.

The other thing they didn't mention is that prices plummeted.. I have no idea where you can currently buy cannabis 100% legally in my area. I still have a medical license and get deliveries from medical dispensaries.. but as of 1/9/19, medical collectives are no longer valid. But they are still out there selling.. In 2002, an ounce of good herb was $280-$340 in so cal. It was a little cheaper up north. Now an ounce of good herb is $100-$200. I pay it, have no idea if any of it is going to taxes.

Would you agree that eliminating pensions would probably not happen but paying less for those pensions would be a big plus. Unfunded liabilities are a huge debt hanging over all States and the Federal Govt. It seems logical that giving full pension after 20 years encourages people to leave after 20. Senators and Congress should not receive pensions.

Okay but answer the question. Does it cost more to pay 2 employees a retirement after 20 years or one after 40?

Is it better financially speaking to have one employee retire after 40 years or 2 different employees that each retire after 20 years? It seems to me that paying one pension is better than paying 2. Pension reform might be in order. Maybe pensions should be based on 40 years for Federal Employees. Maybe they can be vested if that is the correct word after 10 years and collect 25% when they hit 67. After 20 years 50%, 30 years 75%, full retirement after 40 years and age 67. What do you think?
