I don't. It conclusively DISproves, AGAIN, their mantra that widespread firearms ownership among we mere Mundanes leads to a more violent society. So naturally they'll do their very best to burry this information and continue to spout the usual lies they've always spouted about guns in an atempt to further their victim disarmament agenda.
Which has almost nothing to do with Johnson's strength as a candidate, and almost everything to do with the fact that Clinton and Trump are so thoroughly and universally despised.
It's entirely plausible that the LP could have nominated Mr. Potato Head this cycle and still wound up breaking that 5% threshold.
Johnson got, what, the usual 1% (or thereabouts) last time around?
One thing's for damn sure, Harry Browne would be many, MANY orders of magnitude better than most of the assclowns the LP has nominated in recent years. Might even manage to actually introduce some new people to real libertarianism.
