    No, since Rand signed a pledge (the same one the other Republican candidates did) to support the party's nominee long before he knew it would be Trump, or knew who would be the Libertarian nominee/what the poll numbers would be. This does not make sense, as Rand is term limiting himself to two terms, not one, meaning that the present term is not necesariiy (indeed, is hopefully not) his last, and the electoral damage of supporting Johnson would weigh on him in the present election he is running, not a hypothetical future quest for a third term (which, as you note, he says he will not seek).
