An EO most certainly carries "force of law" enforcement, in the area of jurisdiction it covers, in this case federal lands and property. An EPA or OSHA regulation is not "law" either, but they carry penalties of law, including fines and prison

I've posted this a few times already, but it bears repeating: "I hope conservatives are starting to see that the 1st Amendment (which also includes the right to peaceful assembly, like at a holiday dinner) and the 2nd Amendment are red herrings of little use. Technology and gun proliferation are the answer, not the Constitution." -- Michael Malice

The New Domestic War on Terror is Coming https://www.theburningplatform.com/2021/01/20/the-new-domestic-war-on-terror-is-coming/ Authored by Glenn Greenwald via greenwald.substack.com, The last two weeks have ushered in a wave of new domestic police powers and rhetoric in the name of fighting “terrorism” that are carbon copies of many of the worst excesses of the first War on Terror that began nearly twenty years ago. This trend shows no sign of receding as we move farther from the January 6 Capitol riot. The opposite is true: it is intensifying. We have witnessed an orgy of censorship from Silicon Valley monopolies with calls for far more aggressive speech policing, a visibly militarized Washington, D.C. featuring a non-ironically named “Green Zone,” vows from the incoming president and his key allies for a new anti-domestic terrorism bill, and frequent accusations of “sedition,” “treason,” and “terrorism” against members of Congress and citizens. This is all driven by a radical expansion of the meaning of “incitement to violence.” It is accompanied by viral-on-social-media pleas that one work with the FBI to turn in one’s fellow citizens (See Something, Say Something!) and demands for a new system of domestic surveillance.

Please make careful note of the fact that this E/O and the avalanche of new legislation that is following says nothing about "equality". This is about "equity". And there is a HUGE difference between the two.

Joe Biden Executive Order: ‘Rooting Out Systemic Racism’ a Whole-of-Government Initiative https://www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2021/01/20/joe-biden-executive-order-rooting-out-systemic-racism-whole-government-initiative/ Haris Alic 20 Jan 2021 During his first hours in the White House, President Joe Biden declared “rooting out systemic racism” would be a goal for every single department and agency within his government. Biden, who on Wednesday became the nation’s oldest president, issued an executive order shortly after his inaugural address making the advancement of racial equity a “whole-of-government initiative.”

The Marxists didn't get a complete victory, he was not perp-walked out in chains. That's coming though. The Marxist Attorney General in NY state will have him in jail within a year or two.

This. The Marxists are not going to stop today and just let Trump walk away. This will end with Trump in jail or dead. That said, I would have pardoned a whole shit ton of people, including Assange and Snowden. As far as Turtleman is concerned, fuck him.

There is no first amendment anymore. It's a dead letter. Executive orders have already killed it. If a mental defective passing himself off as a "health officer" can mandate by fiat, that you longer have the right to freely assemble and no court has slapped it down with an injunction, indicates this.

Yes, it changes "policy" to "law" by executive fiat. Under "policy" the worst that could happen to you for failure to diaper is that cops would be called and throw you out of the building. Under "law" by executive fiat you are now liable to arrest and criminal prosecution for failure to diaper on federal property. And it's being made clear by the new regime that failure to mask is a political statement, and therefore an act of political terrorism to not comply and biological guerilla warfare. ETA - And I'm going to assume that applies to mandatory diapering while outside at federal parks and national forests.

Post 9/11 people like us told everybody what would happen, that the vast "anti-terror apparatus" would be turned against us, the American people. Sadly, we were not listened to. +rep On a side note, for years I have had the greatest respect for the video work you did in past, all the way to 2007. I came across this copyright free tune the other day, and was immediately touched.

And you can be tried as a civilian even if you are not convicted on impeachment. The one thing has nothing to do with the other. If there are any "civilian" charges that can be brought against Trump, then they can be brought against him regardless of whether he was convicted on impeachment. (IOW: Not having been convicted on impeachment does not confer any kind of immunity from "civilian" charges.) And if there are not any "civilian" charges that can be brought against Trump, then being convicted on impeachment won't change that. Like "general welfare", "high crimes and misdemeanors" is just another vague, mealy-mouthed, waffle-worded phrase that can be made to mean or refer to whatever anyone wants it to mean or refer to.

Elections are placebos. It does not matter how "fraud-proof" they are. A continent-spanning mass democracy of a third of a billion people is simply not tenable. On such a scale, the "will of the people" cannot be "represented" in any effective and non-dysfunctional way. As much as anything else, this is because "the people" are a heterogeneous mass that does not have any coherent "will" that can meaningfully be "represented."

Contrary to popular belief, the Gestapo was not the all-pervasive, omnipotent agency in German society. In Germany proper, many towns and cities had fewer than 50 official Gestapo personnel. For example, in 1939 Stettin and Frankfurt am Main only had a total of 41 Gestapo men combined. In Düsseldorf, the local Gestapo office of only 281 men were responsible for the entire Lower Rhine region, which comprised 4 million people. "V-men", as undercover Gestapo agents were known, were used to infiltrate Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) and Communist opposition groups, but this was more the exception, not the rule. The Gestapo office in Saarbrücken had 50 full-term informers in 1939. The District Office in Nuremberg, which had the responsibility for all of northern Bavaria, employed a total of 80–100 full-term informers between 1943 and 1945. The majority of Gestapo informers were not full-term informers working undercover, but were rather ordinary citizens who chose to denounce other people to the Gestapo. According to Canadian historian Robert Gellately's analysis of the local offices established, the Gestapo was—for the most part—made up of bureaucrats and clerical workers who depended upon denunciations by citizens for their information. Gellately argued that it was because of the widespread willingness of Germans to inform on each other to the Gestapo that Germany between 1933 and 1945 was a prime example of panopticism. The Gestapo—at times—was overwhelmed with denunciations and most of its time was spent sorting out the credible from the less credible denunciations. Many of the local offices were understaffed and overworked, struggling with the paper load caused by so many denunciations.

The back breaker was the over one hour on DADT - I had to look down and check if it still said US ARMY on my uniform.

Nobody was talking about how to win wars anymore.

I'm sorry Phil, but I just realized you asked a question about my interaction with the cops. What happened next was that they postured a bit to see if I would back down and when they saw that I wasn't about to, they walked off the property. They then "changed" their story to say that they were simply there to "talk". Of course my wife began in to say "That's not what you said when you showed up! You said you were here to arrest my son!"...Long story short...they left without my stepson and without ever setting foot again on my property. Take care and fight the good fight my friend.
