The "confusion" you previously expressed - and to which I previously replied - was your pretense that anyone had somehow said or suggested that "New York is in the Midwest". So this is a nice attempt at a goalpost-moving bait-and-switch. I'll give it a 6.5 out of 10. Unfortunately, as to your present "confusion" (wink-wink), I have to go back to being disappointed again. I mean, "undocumented migrants" don't "seem to have anything to do wit Haitians, refugees, or immigrants"? Really? Come on!

I agree. Also, "narcissistic" doesn't mean "not charismatic". Beyond gratifying his own ego, Trump has no principles (as I've mentioned more than once elsewhere). And that still puts him ahead of much of his political opposition, who have bad principles.

Just to be clear his son was killed in a car wreck, not a gun shootout. The issue is is that immigrant wasn't licensed. Yeah, I get it. If he wasn't here the man's son would still be alive. As for the gang violence, American DEA informants killed Haiti's president and the place has bee chaos ever since. Imagine how the U.S would be right now if Trump hadn't turned his head at that right moment?

Cenk is really just a performance artist - sort of like a left-progressive version of Alex Jones. I can't take him seriously enough to hate him. In fact, I don't even dislike him that much. He's too entertaining - especially when he goes off on one of his rants (and the more unhinged those are, the better - just like with Alex Jones).

Maybe. But when it gets right down to it, the machine doesn't really care about it's own easily-replaceable cogs any more than it cares about the meat those cogs grind. This particular cog might end up being reprimanded, demoted, or even fired - if only for PR "damage control" purposes - if the furor over this incident is great enough. (It all depends on how steadfast the local machine operators are in their "pig-mindedness".) He really ought to be criminally charged with burglary and assault/battery (with his having acted under "color of law" being an aggravating factor), but that's probably way too much to hope for. "The process is the punishment."

Most politicians are as narcissistic and full of themselves as Trump is. He just wears it on his sleeve. And if you really think most politicians lie significantly less frequently (or severely) than Trump does, then I don't know what to tell you. But in any case, none of that has anything to do with why Trump was being subjected to on-the-spot "fact checks" while Harris was not. (Unless you're going to tell us that Trump's lies are somehow "extra-special" ones in urgent need of immediate correction, while Harris' lies are somehow not even worth bothering about at all, so she should get a pass). If they're going to put on a show of calling one of these clowns out for his lies, then they should call the other clown out for her lies, too. But they didn't, and they won't - and you know why as well as I and everyone else does.

Harris won - by not losing. She didn't screw up in any major way. Compared to Biden's performance in the previous "debate" (not a high bar), she was smooth, glib, and well-practiced - she didn't cackle even once (though several times she looked like she was on the verge of doing so).

Meh....I'm not nearly as bothered by the "voting / not voting" cultists as I am by the "My preferred candidate is Jesus and the other guy is Satan" cultists and sadly I end up interacting with both. "Trump went against abortion and God is guiding him hallelujah! How dare you compare him to Kamala or Biden" versus "Trump is a womanizer (true) and convicted rapist (not really)! How dare you compare him to Kamala or Biden?" With the former group, bring up that Trump said he doesn't even apologize to God and they lose their minds. With the latter bring up Bill Clinton's infidelity, Joe Biden's rape accusation and Kamala Harris being the other woman, and they lose their minds. I shouldn't say lose because part of their minds may be gone already. This is all I know. I will sleep like a baby on the night of November 5th knowing I haven't voted for the next despot to further destroy the Republic. For those who go out and vote enjoy! I slept fine the past few election cycles knowing that my 3rd party candidate wouldn't win anyway, but this year I'm like "meh." RFK Jr. lost me with his full throated support of Israel. I disagree with Jill Stein and Cornell West on economics (though I'm encouraging my liberal friends who don't like Kamala to vote for one of them), the libertarian candidate sounds like a fruitcake, and the Constitutionalist candidate is too hard core on abortion for me. I could "write in Ron Paul" but that won't even count. So I'm staying home.

So...I didn't watch the debate. But ^3 minutes in to that he's talking about "Maybe Kamala was fed the questions?" Ummm....okay. We know Hillary was fed the questions for debating Bernie which means she was probably fed the questions for debating Trump. Personally....I think the questions should be posted online for everybody a week before the debate. And if you want spontenaity, let each candidate bring to the debate some additional questions of their own. In the famous "Lincoln / Douglas debates" there was no national medial to provide questions. It was strictly what the two candidates said to and asked of each other. The Candace Owens / Rabbie Schmuley debate was a real debate for example.

In 2016 Trump lost the 1st debate against Hillary by being nice. In the second debate he crushed her by bringing the women Bill Clinton messed over.
