Their ears are their eyes. Their eyesight itself is very limited. Their ears are what allows them to “see” the world around them, to know how far away from them predators, food, and the rest of their pod are. Their ears are so sensitive whales can talk to one another when they are hundreds of miles apart. In cases of seismic blasting which killed marine mammals like in Peru a few years back or Madagascar, necropsies on marine mammals who didnt just sink in the ocean (which most do when they die) but were found in the thousands dead on the beaches were shown with blood pouring out of their ears. These necropsies also showed that these marine mammals were otherwise healthy: the seismic blasting itself busted their eardrums and killed them. In other cases where the seismic blasting didnt kill marine mammals immediately, it did deafen them so they died a slow agonizing death of starvation (because they could not find food since they were now blind) or were easy prey to predators. Yes almost every single township along the US East Coast has voted against this. Every East Coast governor except Maine’s governor has come out against this — both Republican and Democrat. State attorney generals and state congressmen have come out against this along the whole east coast. And US congressmen from both parties have strongly come out against this... including libertarian leaning Republicans like Walter Jones (NC) and Mark Sanford (SC). i believe God wants man to live in harmony with, and care for, the natural world and all its sentient beings, not exploit and destroy it for greed, power, money and selfishness. There are 7 billion humans on this earth and 411 right whales left on the planet. If the seismic blasting doesnt completely destroy their species, the endless everyday oil spills coming our way in the Atlantic will. Oil companies are supposed to call in their endless spills but they dont because they would have to pay for the damage they have done: volunteers who do flyovers of the Gulf have found not only do the oil companies not call in their spills but when they do, they vastly underestimate it so their penalty is minimal. The coast guard simply doesnt have the manpower to monitor the literally tens of thousands of oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico. So the Gulf is dying. One volunteer who is a retired physicist from NASA said decades ago when she did flyovers, the Gulf was teeming with life. She told me when she does flyovers now it is rare when she sees any life. Scientists who evaluated the blubber of sperm whales all over the planet reported that the blubber of sperm whales from the Gulf of Mexico was more polluted and filled with toxins than anywhere else on earth. Shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico have been found in large numbers to be deformed from exposure to bp oil: many have huge downs syndrome type heads, no eyes, and other deformities. The elements in oil like benzene are carcinogenic — bottlenose dolphins off Louisiana are continuing to suffer and die from exposure to oil. Many also miscarry calfs because oil greatly affects the reproductive systems of mammals (including humans). A few years back a bottlenose dolphin in the Gulf carried around her miscarried and dead calf for weeks hoping it would take its first breath of air. Finally after weeks of this heartbreaking scene, she pushed her dead calf to a nearby boat of recreational fishermen who said it was like she was saying “i can’t make my calf take its first breath of air: can you help me”? When they couldnt do anything, she finally accepted the reality and swam away leaving her dead calf to fall to the bottom. Similarly the population of humpback whales off Valdez have literally had no calfs since that oil spill decades ago and as the population ages there will eventually be no more from that pod.

I like how he stuck it to the media. Maybe a couple of other things. You can find agreement with any person on this earth about something. Overall, he is a cock sucking piece of shit. People forget how he tried to use government several times in his attempt to steal other people's land. He "100 percent" approved of the eminent domain Kelo (Connecticut) court decision that favored Pfizer and ran people off their land. Running people off their land is about as low as you can get. That cock sucker probably never got the total ass beating he deserved as a kid. I don't know why somebody didn't pummel that puke's face when he was on tee vee as their "boss" or even as a real boss. The eminent domain issue tells you what kind of person he is. A low down fuck that has the gall to champion government to run you out. That cock sucking fuck would never, ever get my vote. Fuck him.

Where did he say that quote? Paul's position has has consistently been "yes" to the question of abolishing social security (example in link). The person who said to "honor the promises made" was Ted Cruz.

Yes, i meant to say one of our largest exports is gasoline. Also tar sands oil from up north gets refined via coastal States along the Gulf of Mexico into diesal and heads straight to Europe since many European cars use diesal. Probably US natural gas will eventually become a large export as well. Unlike gasoline, it used to be priced via the total national supply. However i think the globalists have changed that so that US natural gas will now be priced by total global supply instead of total national supply. Which most likely means that those who use natural gas in their homes will probably eventually be paying more for it. Most natural gas from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and other East Coast states goes to Cove Point in Maryland where it is liquified and sent to India (with it’s 1.3 billion people).

One of the largest US exports also is oil. And US farmers can compete because US taxpayers subsidize them. What bothers me is that we are now the third world nation being scavanged for natural resources like oil, timber, etc. which is being sent to China to create the higher level product. Even Alaskan salmon caught off our coastline is sent to China to filet and sell at a higher cost. While _some_ people in our economy benefit from globalization, the vast majority are irreparably harmed by it. Indeed it has cost us most of our middle class and working class. And these people who lose everything because of it, end up in the low paid service industry that sells goods they used to make. The US middle class is what gave our country strength: because of globalization we are now becoming a country of a small elite and a large impoverished class (similar to Latin America). There is a direct threat in this: people who have little to lose will more likely vote for socialism. Compare that with the same worker in 1950 with a high school education employed in manufacturing: he will not vote for socialism because he has a middle class living wage. Like it or not, all Americans are not college material. But they have shown themselves to be hard workers in the past when they are given the opportunity of having a decent life. Take that away with globalization and you get a chronic opoid epidemic of people with no hope for a better life in low wage jobs needing food stamps to survive. Globalization is a race to the bottom. Tariffs will slowly allow American industry to come back because people are no longer competing with slave labor and they see opportunity. In the short term, those Americans who have depended on foreign slave labor to make a profit may be harmed. But if tariffs are allowed to continue for 8 or 10 years, American ingenuity will be able to blossom and the vast majority of Americans will benefit from it. And yes, it IS a national security concern when we completely depend on other countries to make our everyday goods. i don’t agree with Trump on everything, but he is absolutely correct on using tariffs to zero out our trade deficits. Use a dynamic tariff to keep deficits at zero having neither surplus nor deficit — this allows continued trade with other countries at the same time it gives our working class a fighting chance to compete for living wage jobs.

Daniel mentioned Ukraine signed a treaty with Russia 10 years ago agreeing that before entering the Kerch Strait, Ukraine vessels must first ask Russia permission to do so. I havent read anything about this treaty elsewhere. The real question is: According to maritime law, who is the rightful owner/controller of this strait? Did Russia control this strait prior to the annexation of Crimea in the 1990s and early 2000s? No one seems to be discussing these critical questions in the news.

If bolsheviks and other nit wits wonder why Dump is so popular, then this is part of it. He doesn't apologize when some dipshit snaps his fingers. Stop being a pussy. And learn how communication works. The intent of the communicator in today's sensitive world has been made irrelevant by the butt hurt. It no longer matters what the communicator means. It only matters what the recipient perceives. This is incorrect because communication is a dynamic interaction. It's the proverbial two way street. If someone is going to error by making only one party matter in the communication transaction, then it should actually be the person delivering the message. Only he knows what he truly meant, despite how others might try to twist it. I obviously still would not make communication a one way street. You have the message deliverer, who knows what he means. You also have the recipient, who perceives the message. The perception of the recipient can, in no way, change what the deliverer originally means to say. That however, does not mean that people aren't free to perceive something in any way they see fit. The happy song I write might, somehow, be interpreted by you as a sad song. That, again, can't change my original intent. Your perception is fine, but you can't tell me what I originally meant because I know what I meant.

Cruz voted against it; why am i not surprised? re: Trump: if Congress is responsible for matters of war and peace, how is it Trump’s right to veto when it’s constitutionally illegal for him to have US troops participating in a war against indigenous Houthis (who are no threat to the US) in the first place?

I just rediscovered his website. He said he was retiring a few years ago, but he came back. He reviews both major and minor league parks. He focuses on ballpark construction, atmosphere, and concessions. A big reason I like his site is to quickly find great ballparks when you're out of town. I might be in Virginia next season, so I looked at parks in Richmond, Lynchburg, Salem, and Pulaski. Even thought Pulaski is an affiliate of the Yanks (boo), they have some tradition at their 1935 built facility. Lynchburg also looks cool with a 1940 building. And, they have a cool nickname with the Hillcats. I don't even go to the majors now. It's, of course, higher quality, but I got fed up with the pettiness and control. I heard the ushers at the Washington Nationals Park won't even let you get up during an inning. Going to Yankee Stadium is like going thru a TSA anal probe. You could waltz right in to the old Yankee Stadium. Anyway, another reason to like the site is that this guy is a traditionalist--a real fan's fan. The site has some drawbacks (like many things), but it's enjoyable to browse.
