Now I am going to share something straight up with this. This gives me a new perspective in two ways. First I am glad that he truly does understand what his advisors are trying to push him into which is a good thing in the bigger picture, at least I know he is indeed making efforts to keep us out of war. But, at the same time it removes any benefit of the doubt defense I might try to spout based on him having ignorance and lack of understanding the bigger picture.

It's not though... It removes all doubt and that he does indeed see the bigger picture and the MIC.

Excellent! He does "get it" for sure then without question. Now if he screws up there is absolutely no excuse of ignorance. It is a new bar to judge him by going forward.

Cheney didn't legally have to do that. There is nothing that says you have to give up all your assets to be President. You just can't actively engage in business and profit while in office. Trump did indeed temporary disconnect from Trump industries before becoming President and that is all that is required. He can take his position back when he is done. Bringing money into Trump industries does not profit himself because he is legally unhooked from it. Just because his name is on it doesn't mean he is actively participating and profiting. A corporation is not a personal asset.

I cannot speak for any person's motives except my own. Didn't Ron keep taking donations even though he was not continuing his race? Did he not give back money that he should have? IDK. Did Ron promote economic crash for gain of personal wealth? Did Ron make millions of dollars promoting newsletters? IDK. Are Ron's intentions always pure? IDK. If there is a God only that entity would know or be able to judge. Often times our own perceptions are skewed and we don't even interpret our own actions realistically.

Does every President or politician seek and or remain in said position for personal gain? Is Thomas Massie a politician to enhance his personal aspirations? Why did Ron or Rand Paul want to be in Congress, Senate or be POTUS? For personal gain? Why would someone assume that the candidate they like are a politician for selfless reasons but everyone else is for personal gain.

Anxiety is not caused merely by your reaction to the bad news that you have PD. Rather, PD causes additional chemical changes in your brain besides the major change we all know about (the loss of dopamine-producing cells). These additional chemical changes can bring on depression and anxiety. . Having anxiety increases your likelihood of cognitive impairment: “A recent study of 185 patients newly diagnosed with PD, for example, found that the odds of having cognitive impairment were 3-fold in those with anxiety vs in those without anxiety.” (See articles 1 and 2 below.)

In this day and age you don't read a book about the natural man walking barefoot and naked in the cold eating natural food and all of a sudden determine that this would be helpful for an elderly, obese, demented, psychotic, person with Parkinson's that has been in decline for years. Imagine having an old woman outside naked and barefoot having anxiety, panic attack screaming and the cops showing up. Hmm who do you think gets institutionalized? As mentioned if a person has good cognitive functions or chooses for themselves to do something than okay. For example suppose your sister that lives alone is in her yard walking around barefoot and naked picking berries and screaming and the cops show up. That has nothing to do with me. Her choice. Once I intervene, I best do so in a way that cause no harm. The time is past for the person I speak of. Whether she had Parkinson's or not, the drugs she has been on that alter brain chemistry have already destroyed her brain. Do as you wish when caring for loved ones. I support you!

My wife does no drugs and hardly drinks. She willingly tried some extract and a few hours later collapsed. That particular day she had planned to go out with her friends. There were 5 of them going to go out and have fun. Everything was calm and an hour and one half before she was supposed to leave she called me on my phone in a weak voice told me she needed my help. I came instantly to find her arms supporting herself in the corner of the kitchen counters. She was totally groggy and could not support herself. I got her to a chair and tried to assess her. I have read some people have had adverse reactions to it. I don't know. I have done weed since I was a kid. All I know is that I will never offer it to her again.

Impeachment is political and will happen at the strategic time. They will drag Trump thru the mud. Why will anyone want to re-elect a president that is being impeached? We do not want to impeach him too soon. Get every piece of chit and pick up every stone and be ready to throw it at MAGA. The biggest smear campaign has yet to begin. I said a while back that I would walk away from it if I were Trump. What does he need this for? What does Thomas Massie need politics for? He is independently wealthy. Politics does not make Thomas's life easier. How hard would Thomas fight to get re-elected? Screw that chit. Fuch dat. Go live with your loving family in Kentucky and develop some other time saving concepts that make your life easier. Thomas Massie works for the people because the people wanted him to represent them. Does anyone seriously think that Biden, or Sanders, or Rand Paul would be a better president? What was Trumps agenda for being president? Was he trying to build name recognition or promote his image? Was he trying to become a wealthy businessman? Was he trying to help his daughter jump start a clothing or beauty product line? Imagine Jackie Kennedy or Michelle Obama or one of their adult daughters if they had one while first lady start a beauty product or clothing line. They would be on every show being acclaimed as an empowered woman with a fashion line that liberals would literally kill people waiting in line in front of them so they could get the last one.

What about trips to camp David or trips to their homes? Is it okay for one president to travel to their home and the other not? I think Trump would travel in his own plane and go without the secret service. How much does it cost to have a million troops during peace time out on maneuvers around the globe? How much does it cost to have a million troops during wartime? Is Trump supposed to be restricted to a particular place? Is it okay for Kennedy to go to the Hampton's but not Trump to go to Mar-a-lago? If Trump had a resort across the street from the White House and wanted to spend the weekend there and he simply walked across the street, we would still hear how much money he cost the taxpayer. Do you think the presidency has enhanced Trump's businesses? Do you think more people would want to go to a Trump resort after he became president or before?

Syrian government forces have unilaterally ceased fire in the northern Idlib province, the last major rebel stronghold, Russia said Sunday, while opposition activists reported continued shelling and airstrikes. In a brief statement on Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Sides in Syria said government forces had ceased fire as of midnight. It described the move as unilateral, but did not give details. The pro-government Syrian Central Military Media said government forces responded to shelling by militants Sunday on the edge of Idlib. It gave no further details. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition war monitoring group, reported an airstrike on the town of Khan Sheikhoun, saying it inflicted casualties. The opposition's Syrian Civil Defense also reported shelling near the town of Jisr al-Shughour without reporting any casualties. Modi beats the cows? Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to return to power with an even bigger majority in parliament after a mammoth general election that ended on Sunday, exit polls showed, a far better showing than expected in recent weeks. Modi's National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to win anything between 339-365 seats in the 545-member lower house of parliament with the Congress party-led opposition alliance at a distant 77 to 108, India Today Axis exit poll showed. To rule, a party needs to win 272 seats. Modi's alliance won 336 seats in the 2014 election. The exit polls showed that he not only held to this base in the northern Hindi belt but also breached the east where regional groups traditionally held sway. Only the south largely resisted the Hindu nationalist surge, except for Karnataka, home to software capital Bengaluru. Counting of votes recorded in hundreds of thousands of computerised machines will begin early on Thursday and results are expected by noon.

As the U.S. immigration system strains with the highest number of apprehensions at the southwestern border in a decade, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is looking at opening new detention facilities in California. ICE is considering using existing facilities or constructing new facilities in the Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco areas to house between 5,100 to 5,600 detainees, according to official documents posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The facilities would be used to house “criminal aliens and other immigrant violators,” the documents say. More at: https://news.yahoo.com/despite-opposition-ice-looks-open-153748259.html

Swiss voters on Sunday approved a measure to tighten the Alpine nation's gun laws, bringing the country in line with many of its European partners despite the objections of local gun owners, Swiss media reported, citing official results.Switzerland's public broadcaster said more than 63% of voters nationwide agreed to align with European Union firearms rules adopted two years ago after deadly attacks in France, Belgium, Germany and Britain. Switzerland, unlike many other European nations, allows veterans of its obligatory military service for men to take home their service weapons after tours of duty. The Swiss proposal, among other things, requires regular training on the use of firearms, special waivers to own some semi-automatic weapons and serial number tracking system for key parts of some guns. Gun owners would have to register any weapons not already registered within three years, and keep a registry of their gun collections. Opponents insist that such changes will violate Switzerland's constitution and do little to fight extremism or crime. They say the weapons used in recent attacks in Europe weren't obtained legally. They argue it will crack down mainly on lawful gun owners in Switzerland and ram through what they perceive as the latest diktat from Brussels on the rich country. Jean-Luc Addor, a Swiss People's Party lawmaker from the southwestern Valais region, said adopting the EU directive would be "unjust, freedom-killing, useless, dangerous, and above all, anti-Swiss." "With no effect on the fight against terrorism, it will only hit honest, law-abiding citizens who possess legal weapons (so, us!)," he wrote on his website. "It's the epitome of injustice." Switzerland hasn't faced major extremist attacks like those that have hit France, Belgium, Britain and Germany in recent years, leaving scores dead.

The decision by the Democratic National Committee to bring in a man who has questioned whether presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is "dangerous to the future of the Democratic Party" has some questioning whether the party will be able to maintain neutrality in 2020. The DNC's new finance chair Chris Korge, a longtime Florida lobbyist, was a major supporter of failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016, and he has already given $2,700 this cycle to Kamala Harris's presidential campaign. On Twitter, he has made clear that he hasn't gotten over the party's struggle with Sanders in 2016, even retweeting a user urging him to stay out of the 2020 race, according to a Huffington Post report. Larry Cohen, a union leader and Sanders supporter who is also a DNC member, told the Huffington Post, "The nomination of Chris to be finance chair is concerning. Before the election, I’m sure that we will profess total neutrality in terms of the nominating process and in some ways walk back the comments he’s made about Bernie Sanders." Among Korge's anti-Sanders social media posts identified by the Huffington Post was one saying Sanders would have to raise taxes to pay for his policies. "The only Bern the middle class will feel from Bernie is the pain from all the tax increases," Korge wrote while attending one of the 2016 Clinton-Sanders primary debates. Korge also criticized Sanders for being "weak on guns for political purpose." The DNC went to great lengths to convince Sanders to sign a loyalty pledge earlier this year, making him vow not to run as a third-party candidate if he were to lose the primary. In return it made changes urged by Sanders, such as minimizing the role of superdelegates in the nomination process. 2 Kings Chapter 14 8 Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face. 9 And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle. 10 Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee? 11 But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah. 12 And Judah was put to the worse before Israel; and they fled every man to their tents. 13 And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Bethshemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the corner gate, four hundred cubits. 14 And he took all the gold and silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house, and hostages, and returned to Samaria.

China. Republican Senator and failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney congratulated Justin Amash for endorsing the impeachment of President Trump, speaking to CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday. Curiously, Romney expressed praise for Amash’s decision to call for impeachment while declining to endorse it personally. He told Tapper that he “had reached a different conclusion” than Amash had, leaving the Michigan libertarian the only federal Republican legislator to take a stance in support of removing Trump from office. Tapper presented Romney with a hilariously “softball-style” interview on his segment on CNN, outright worshipping the Utah Senator when he claimed that he was someone who “personally conducted himself according to a certain set of moral and ethical principles throughout his entire life.” He went on to goad Romney to critique the President from a moral high ground. In reality, Romney made millions of dollars by destroying countless American jobs during his tenure at Bain Capital. He was in charge of eliminating and outsourcing jobs at American companies, sending them to China and India where executives could utilize cheap labor.
