He wants to increase penalties for trafficking fentanyl, not your corner street dealer but the people bringing here over the border in large quantities - and this fentanyl is being fraudulently misrepresented in the black market as heroin and causing a lot of deaths - but under his plan they would only be able to use the death penalty it if they found that the trafficking directly caused many people to die. I don't think that is going to happen. I think they will just increase the penalties for trafficking fentanyl. I'm not fan of the war on drugs, and in fact that is the cause of the fentanyl problem.. there is no clean, legal and affordable source for opiates and so people turn to the dangerous cheap stuff on the streets. However, the free market would probably treat such a situation fairly similarly if they were causing deaths by misrepresenting their product. Murder charges? Trump is not a consistent promoter of liberty by any stretch of the imagination, but he is fighting against people who loath freedom a lot more than he does. In fact, in his younger years, Trump once advocated for the legalization of drugs.

IDK about that. Sassanian soldiers (Zoroastrians) were appalled by the amount of pornography they found when they looted a Roman camp.

"Uber Economy" is typically a word that socialists use to describe new relatively unregulated markets that people are using to get around government regulations.

Who was the first victim? The taxi cab companies who spent decades lobbying for regulations on taxi cabs. Fuck them, Uber economy ftw.. That doesn't mean I'm excited about self-driving cars, but using technology to get around government regulations and being more efficient is really what people refer to as the "uber economy" anyway. Nobody refers to self driving cars as the "uber economy", it is more for stuff like ridesharing, airbnb, craigslist, etc.. stuff that people didn't want the government regulating in the first place.

...or maybe they completely dismantled the effectiveness of the leftist gun control movement for the time being. If we had close to 50% people in congress who at least somewhat supported liberty, then a more straightforward strategy might be beneficial. In the meantime, we have like 5% people in D.C. who may somewhat support liberty - so I don't give a phuck what who does to preserve it, all I care about is the result.

So they wrote a bill that they could easily defeat in court? What's the problem?

Sometimes it is better to defer judgement to your spouse. If you ever find yourself having a debate over firearms, police, automated cars, government surveillance, people at Walmart or bacon, then just defer to whatever AF says. If you ever find yourself having a debate over nutrition, wellness, Alex Jones, Donald Trump, home appliances or decor, then he should defer to you.

Ya I know, you said the same thing about Trump "promoting" gun control. Pretty sure everything that has happened so far with regards to gun control would have happened without Trump's "approval", and I'm also pretty sure that we will not be seeing much if any gun control legislation pass and remain standing after appeals in court. I think the Judge is using this as a secret communicative way to talk to Trump and warn him of things without actually making an official phone call.. and also appear more neutral.

Also, in addition to that second point - you might recall that there was a lot of chatter a while back that Judge Napolitano got pulled off Fox after making the comment that Obama was wiretapping Trump during his campaign. This was before there was proof of such allegations. I really think Napolitano is just trying to paint himself as more neutral of the President.

Judge Napolitano is a great guy. There are now two reason I can think of that he would be doing this, and neither have anything to do with being controlled opposition. 1. He is trying to warn Trump and those around him regarding what their next move might be. 2. He is trying to appear politically neutral so when Trump nominates him as Supreme Court Justice he will have a better shot of getting confirmation from congress.

Pretty sure Trump promised he would nominate him Supreme Court Justice, so I dunno why you think he would be Trump's enemy. If anything he just has to make it out to be like they have a neutral relationship.

Trump? Trump didn't do anything. The FBI recommended firing McCabe because he was being partisan, and Sessions acted on the recommendation.

Did you find out the Judge was an anarchist or something? I can't think of any reason why he would be controlled opposition.. I don't think he has done much for the Russiagate, maybe he has been slightly neutral of where he would normally be so he doesn't seem like when Trump nominates him for Supreme Court that he only got it for being a kiss ass..

I actually did recently create one for a college scholarship. But I've literally never used that account other than for that. I literally have zero friends on my facebook account, and deliberately so. I don't like using it. Seems like a waste of time for me. I'd rather spend time here on serious stuff
