When the experts were predicting a 1%-4% fatality rate back in March, I did my own calculations and predicted it would be closer to 0.1% - 0.3% It is in the 80 page thread on the topic if anybody doubts that it happened. I didn't hear anybody else make a prediction that precise, I just looked at the data that was available myself and actually did math. Me: 1 Experts: 0

Ya, I really like freedom, but the freedom to be ruled by tech giants sure doesn't sound like the freedom I was hoping for. As much as I like the idea of competition to solve this, it doesn't seem that there is fair competition in social media companies as they are conjoined and often funded by government. So there is a legitimate argument that these sites should be free speech areas, if they are arms of the government.

What are you talking about? You don't seem to understand the basic premise here. There are two kinds of websites. One kind of website assumes editorial control, and is ALREADY liable for content posted - I.e. infowars, CNN, Fox News and, I assumed, this website. Therefore nothing will change for them, because that is already how it is. The second kind of website is like twitter or facebook - they have been allowed to skirt the liability laws because they claim they don't have editorial control over the content of their site. The whole idea is that since they are now choosing to assume editorial control over their content, they should already be held liable, based on the current laws - I'm not saying that is how it should be, just that is how current laws seem to be put together. To me, this EO seems like it pretty much just defines the law as it already is, by making clear that since these sites are assuming editorial control over their content they would be held liable for what is posted there.. just like, I presume this website would be. So it would put them on equal footing with this website, or infowars, etc.

Again, I don't think AJs site falls under the same category as facebook and twitter, either.. For example, AJ has been sued multiple times over content on his website... which to me, says he is already liable for his content.. so what exactly would be changing for him?

Curious if this is true, Brian4Liberty? The content here is moderated and there is a mission statement and guidelines that posters must follow. Moderators taking reasonable action to delete posts for which the site can be held liable. I'm not sure this site fits in the same category as facebook or twitter, I always assumed it did not.

Hah, you mean ZERO sources? Edit: Apparently it was redditards that started it, based on an actual crazy lady like that named Karen who divorced her husband and took the kids.. But it was quickly adopted by the more conservative crowd as well due to their authoritarian nature, we have been seeing Karen memes here for a while now.

Also I don't recall any Q posts on this topic, so it wasn't really on the radar of what is about to go down. When I search Q posts for Feinstein, all I get is a bunch of stuff about her relationship with China.. Oh, and this. A picture is worth a thousand words.See EVIL in the face of FEINSTEIN? See FEAR & EMOTION in the face of MURKOWSKI?

I thought libertarians were ok with insider trading? What forum am I on? Oh, I'm just in a thread full of anti-Trumpers, that's right. Here's the real problem with these charges.. It is impossible to prove that they used their insider knowledge to sell the stocks when there was plenty of media for public consumption that would suggest they do the same.

Karen was originally created and spread by predominantly white conservative young men regarding white women who are always up in people's business and have a huge superiority complex and like to complain - especially to management. It's a great meme that is very applicable in today's society, however I have seen it taken out of context by the left when a bunch of redditers were trying to falsely apply the term to the "anti-vaccine" woman who got arrested for taking her kid to the park. But in the correct context, it is still a great meme. As far as having her life ruined - guess what? The guy who filmed her is Christian Cooper, a Harvard graduate and when he found out she lost her job and her whole life was torn apart he said - "If our goal is to change the underlying factors, I'm not sure that tearing her life apart serves that goal" I have shifted by opinion on the story since the OP due to the fact that he made some odd comments about what he wanted to do with her dog.. plus I wasn't too thrilled to begin with that he was so concerned about an off leash dog.. Clearly they were both wrong. However it seems like he has some regrets about what happened and I thought that was a pretty good statement that he made after the fact.

Karen walks her dog off leash - which - I personally have no problem with. I think there should be more off leash areas for dogs, and a lot of areas that require leashes are well suited for allowing dogs off leash. Many of these areas that require leashes are full of dogs off leash and I've yet to see any problems in a public place with off leash dogs, and I spend every day in these areas. There are plenty of friendly dogs out there who do great off leash, big and small. They shouldn't be punished because some people have dogs that are not well socialized with others. They should have some trails in Central Park that allow dogs off leash, others that allow them on leash and you could even have some that don't allow dogs for people who are afraid. It's big enough. An African American guy starts filming her while her dog is off leash, and she freaks out and tells him to stop filming her and acts like he is threatening her with violence and says she is going to call the cops and tell them an "African American man is threatening me!!" The entire time she is choking the dog because she is holding it by the collar instead of leashing up right away. Eventually it bites her.

But the guy turns out to be black. Police Smash Car Window, Drag Man Out, Beat Him, Turns Out Car Was Not Stolen It took more than two minutes for two New Hampshire state police officers to bust out a man's car window and drag him out as he was live streaming to Facebook Wednesday. During that time, the cops refused to tell Jean Ronald Saint Preaux why they were trying to arrest him which is why he refused to step out of the car. After they finally dragged him out of his car by his dreadlocks and arrested him, they told him the tags on his car had been reported stolen.

I actually did recently create one for a college scholarship. But I've literally never used that account other than for that. I literally have zero friends on my facebook account, and deliberately so. I don't like using it. Seems like a waste of time for me. I'd rather spend time here on serious stuff
