Fake news... there were some articles out last year that reported on someone who calculated the amount of electricity used and it was completely and totally wrong, it was off by like hundreds of x's (times)

Actually it requires less. Ya, mining requires energy.. but so does building bank buildings, paying bank employees, money transaction services, etc.. all that requires more than crypto mining ever will.

Ya, I know you don't, you know almost nothing about crypto yet you come in with your opinions all the time which are complete garbage. A fork is not like a stock split in that the value of the forked coin and the original coin will almost definitely be different, as determined by the market. When a stock split occurs, all the split shares have equal value afterward. Engaging in the transaction I detailed earlier does not make you any money in the short term necessarily, as it all depends on the value the market gives the new forked currency and what value the original currency has. If you think the new forked currency is going to be successful and you think the original currency is going to hold it's value well, then rather than purchasing the forked currency directly after the fork occurs and the market price is set with bitcoin, you can use your bitcoin to get them for "free" by buying some bitcoin cash before the fork. Then once the fork occurs, you take the non-forked currency and buy back your bitcoin, hoping that the value held up relatively well. Then you will have the new forked currency as well as your initial bitcoin minus whatever costs were incurred from the changes in value during which you made the transactions. But the point is, a lot of people who like bitcoin are going to sell some bitcoin right before the fork to buy bitcoin cash so they can get some of the new forked currency, then buy back their bitcoin later. There is no reason to do this right when the announcement occurs.. although it may have been beneficial to do it right before the 15% drop occurred, but that 15% drop likely was in part due to the stampede of last minute people wanting to get it on the bitcoin cash fork.

No, you're answer is horse shit because loss of interest over time would explain a decline over time, not a 15% drop in one day. Your answer was unthoughtful, incorrect, a canned establishment response, and complete horse shit. The reason for the price drop was mostly related to the bitcoin cash fork.

Wrong answer again.. Unthoughtful and clearly shows you have no understanding of crypto or what I'm talking about. You get FREE BITCOIN CASH FORKED coins if you sell your BITCOIN and buy BITCOIN CASH with them any time before the fork happens. If you have your crypto in bitcoin, because you aren't a huge fan of bitcoin cash, why would you sell your bitcoin at the moment the fork was announced?? No, you would wait until just before the fork, then sell your bitcoin for bitcoin cash, wait till the fork was over, then sell the bitcoin cash and get your bitcoin back.. and suddenly you have a bunch of extra bitcoin cash forked coins that you wouldn't have had otherwise.

I agree with you on the bold part 100% - that is actually the reason they are putting out propaganda about e-cigs. At first there was almost no regulation, and anybody could make or sell e-cigs. Now there is more regulation, but there is still way too much competition out there (/s). By portraying e-cigs as dangerous, they get to have them heavily regulated, and they will be able to take over the market.. it will benefit them even if they scare away a chunk of the user base.

Do they sell cigarettes or tobacco? I think the nicotine people buy in e-cigs still comes from tobacco. So I would think tobacco growers should be ok. It's the analog cigarette brands like Marlboro and Camel who are fighting e-cigs, they are absolutely losing marketshare with this.. and there has been propaganda coming out for years about e-cigs. Just ask zippy what he thinks about them. Who is funding it? Certainly not people who care about health.. for years the data has largely shown that e-cigs are 95-99%+ safer than cigs.

Um, ya, that isn't how it works. Tulsa said there are statements that piss off both Trump supporters and SJWs that are outside the index card of allowable opinion. That doesn't mean you get to make two separate statements, one that pisses off each group separately. That is a fail. So go ahead.. let's see a single statement, on a single issue, that pisses off both Trump supporters on this site (since that is what we have to work with) and SJWs. Still nothing..

Do I have to agree with Trump that ketchup tastes good with steak, or else I can't support him? Sorry if I have a STRONG PREFERENCE for somebody I disagree with on a host of issues, who wants the best for us, compared to somebody who I disagree with on EVERYTHING, and would sell out the country for a Popsicle.. can't believe I have to apologize for something like that. Does that seem like a reasonable thing to have to apologize for to you?

No, you can buy the BCH any time before the fork happens. It just needs to be in a wallet that you own, or one on an exchange that supports the fork. So let's say you had 4 bitcoin and 2 bitcoin cash. In the days before the fork, you might sell a small portion of bitcoin and buy 4 bitcoin cash. Now you have 6 bitcoin cash. Then the fork happens and now you have 6 bitcoin cash, 6 bitcoin cash ABC and 6 bitcoin cash SV or whatever (it looks like it's going to double fork). Now you can sell your 4 bitcoin cash back for bitcoin, and you have 2 bitcoin cash, the extra 4 bitcoin cash ABC for a total of 6 and extra 4 bitcoin cash SV for a total of 6. Of course prices on all of these are going to be constantly fluctuating, so how one would make out is questionable but if you think the new bitcoin cash forks are worth owning, it is easy to get it on it by selling some BTC for bitcoin cash and then selling back later.

Liar.. but it probably isn't your fault, you may not be the person who used to post here during that time. When it was dropping, I was blasting people like you who were saying how horrible it was that BTC was going down, not taking into consideration how far up it had gone. It's not a disaster for BTC to drop from 19k to 6k when it had just came up from $250-500 range.

BTC has been extremely stable for months. It suddenly went down 15% the other day and the OP asked why. Your answer is a total horse shit explanation for why it dropped 15% in one day. Your answer would be more related to a longterm trend than a one day movement. The reason is likely related to the BCH fork, which is happening this week. BTW, all you used to do was complain about how volatile it was. I don't know if you remember that, maybe it was somebody else posting.. But you suddenly went all radio silent on BTC the last few months when it was more stable than any other asset class. We all noticed.

Just ONE thing that pisses off pretty much all Trump supporters and pretty much all SJWs, what is your best example? If somebody can think of something creative, I will applaud them.. but pretty sure you are going to come up with jack squat.

Trump and his supporters get completely flogged by the MSM, hollywood, anything mainstream, left or NPC like on a daily basis. It's been going on for almost 3 years, I've never seen anything close to this in my entire life. You can pretend we are hallucinating, but that just makes you look dishonest.

All wrong, complete bullshit. That was why I asked, because i knew I was going to get bullshit answers like this. If you put the word "some" between "let" and "people" most would have no issue with that either.. but the question was statements that piss off both sides, and open immigration wouldn't piss off the SJWs so that is wrong too.
