The thing about nukes is... the american government is the only government in history to use them on people. Most people suspect that they will be the next to use them, since they've already threatened Iran with tactical nukes.... Not a good track record.

Yes, a corporation by definition must be approved by a state in order to exist. Also, I agree with your position on the military, and I think government is abusing your honesty :-)

About your china example... what are you saying? Government is required now that nukes exist? If Washington is correct, and government is nothing but Force, than why oh why should they be the ones possessing our nukes? There are better solutions, than government even to this. I will elaborate on that, after your response :-)

Are you saying you think all corporations are extensions of the gov't? I can't say for sure if our military is protecting us, I don't have that kind of first hand knowledge. If you're asking me if I think we belong in Iraq or Afghanistan, I would say no. I would rather see our military protecting our borders.

China has some twelve missiles aimed at the Cali coast right now. All they'd have to do is launch them and simultaneously enter through our sieve-like southern border and invade Cali - for starters. Anyone, for that matter, could set up shop here in any given state by way of Mexico. Yamamoto was speaking in a different era. Things have much changed since then.

Blackwater is a corporation, which is essentially an extended arm of the government, by definition. Do you think the military is protecting your country now? Why aren't the troops reading their ink and paper, and understanding it?

Respect for the natural right to self-defense / bear arms, would go an awful long way society policing itself, wouldn't you agree?

Why do you argue that National Defense keeps us safer, when history proves just the opposite? Enforced extraction of property (taxation / theft) is the cause of all wars.

I think we're derailing

I respect your right to fund national defense. So do you respect my right to not fund national defense, or do you think I should have force used against me, if i have committed no other crime?

What if congress voted and passed the Iraq war, and it was declared... would that make it any more right? Should i be forced to support "constitutional" wars, at gun point?

I'm not trying to start an argument... I just recently got banned due to my positions so, I need to hold back.

We're kind of derailing the thread i suppose. I was just wondering how much you depend on government and why? I personally don't think it's wise to depend on them for your safety in the defense of civil rights.
