Even if Kasich helped it wouldnt matter. The only thing that would accomplish is hurting Kasich's future political goals.
Trump is a buffoon and will lose in a landslide when it actually comes down to voting. Too much disunity in the GOP and his racist nonsense and inexperience will turn off a majority of independents. If the opponent wasnt Clinton hed be down by more than 10.
Well considering how toxic Trump is he had very few choices of experienced politicians so he just went with the safest "do no harm" from among those. Considering Pence would have probably even lost his reelection bid for governor it is no wonder he accepted the VP slot. Of course Kasich would turn it down as he still has a politicial future and could run in 2020.
I mean seriously the other possibilities were people like Gingrich and Christie. Really slim pickings of no future politicians.
I dont blame him. Unless he was going to make a play for the nomination in the case the delegates are unbound I see no reason to go. Yeah a speech can be helpful but I am not sure it would really build his profile when it is given during the nomination of a toxic candidate like Trump.
Good for her but I doubt the numbers are enough. People rarely exercise independence and tend to just go with the flow which is why once a front runner is established they dominate as people throw their voice away to just be party of the "consolidation".
Trump will be nominated and then be destroyed in November all thanks to a bunch of idiotic primary voters who supported the worst nominee in party history.
Same b.s. is said every election.
So Trump supporters who say this crap voted Romney and McCain like the loyal puppets they are, right? Either that or they are major hypocrites which wouldnt surprise me either.
I understand that. I mean it is bad enough to be an American and being associated with that neaderthal as a presidential candidate. It must be even more embarassing to share other traits with him. I would want to distance myself as far from him as I could too.
I can understand him. A pledge is a pledge and a person should keep their word. That said I bet he regrets making that pledge. Trump is such a horrible candidate that I dont hold it against anyone for breaking the pledge either.
