I don't think Rand will run again. He does good work in the Senate, but he rubbed elbows with the good ole boys for too long to be able to pull off POTUS for the masses. I think celebs will be the new norm. Clooney (D) vs The Rock (R) 2024

Allow me to posit another theory. What will move us toward more human freedom... truly? I am a firm believer that we need nothing short of some serious hard times for the ball to be moved even in inch in that direction. Therefore it follows that whatever will bring us closer to 'hard times' would be the most appropriate remedy to the current predicament, no? I say let the Ocasio Corez's and the Bernies and Antifa wield the levers of power for a while... I'm here in flyover country and we've been WAITING for such an event... this will end up with one of several likely scenarios: 1) Secession/Peaceful dissolution, 2) Civil Conflict 3) Fill in the blank.... I think any outcome is better than preserving the status quo. To summarize: Let them come.

My thoughts exactly. Very suspect. The usual suspects who generally give fellatio to the Saudis are all sabre rattling and talking about 'consequences.' Pence, Graham, all are turning on the House of Saud

Humans are fickle things. I think Ron Paul was right. Freedom was popular... however seeing that logic and reason often give way to charlatans selling fear and emotion... when Ron Paul was kicked to the wayside, many let their emotions turn to anger, and Trump was swept into office. I still hold that Tytler's Cycle of Democracies holds true. There isn't much this country can do to avoid the pain that's coming. Ron Paul could've post-poned things a little, Trump may do the same. In the end I think it will result in positive change. We will have some serious hard times ahead, but humans have always met the challenge. Let us hope we are still able to do so. What this country needs is more strong hard men, and you know what they say... hard times create strong men. We can be thankful, in a way, for the coming hard times.

Yep...and we all know that they probably had done something previously that went unpunished. You know...if someone get's caught doing one thing then there's probably 10 other things they didn't get caught doing.

My understanding of this incident is that it was not Ricin per se, but he sent Castor beans. Which is idiotic. But that is just the precursor to making Ricin. Big Difference if it is synthesized or not. So when the news is reporting "ricin ingredients" found then they are not being completely straight. ( I Know, Surprise!) Another fact about this is it is very hard to do unless you take extreme precautions with PPE. That stuff is extremeley lethal and most people never get very far in synthesizing this without first getting themselves really really sick first. Yep. I can count on one hand the number of Republican's and Democrats that i would feel comfortable with the decision making practices, and that's not enough to keep worrying about who controls the Statism every 4 years.

Yep. He could have just come clean and said he liked wild parties and girls....instead he's now getting destroyed over pretending he doesn't know the real meanings of group sex and drinking terms..

Yeah the Trump sucking does get kinda sickening from time to time, but the best thing about all of this is how completely ridiculous the entire political system is anymore. It's so transparent to be laughable. I have no respect for Kavanaugh and his establishment crap and he's a terrible candidate, but this is a clown show and it's never been more clear.

My favorite: A baker hires a young female assistant who likes to wear very short skirts and a thong. One day a young man enters the store, glances at the assistant and then at the loaves of bread behind the counter. Noticing the length of her skirt and the location of the raisin bread, he has a brilliant idea. "I'd like some raisin bread please," the man says politely. The girl nods and climbs up a ladder to reach the raisin bread, which is located on the very top shelf. The young man, standing almost directly beneath her, gets an excellent view just as he planned. Once she comes down he says he should get two loaves, as he is having company for dinner. As the girl retrieves the second loaf of bread, one of the other male customers notices what is going on.

Out of every one hundred men they send us, ten should not even be here. Eighty will do nothing but serve as targets for the enemy. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, upon them depends our success in battle. But one, ah the one, he is a real warrior, and he will bring the others back from battle alive.

Duty is the most sublime word in the English language. Do your duty in all things. You can not do more than your duty. You should never wish to do less than your duty.
