Yeah, I don't much like 'em there, which is why I pay none/almost none. And I do that without living in a NH community that is property tax free. As for a whole state, AL tends to have some of the lowest property taxes in the nation. So likely all of the Senate candidates pay a lot less in property taxes than you do ;) :)

Exactly. Just because NH is the freest state with the 2nd lowest overall tax rate, and has communities without personal income, sales, or property taxes, and has the most pro-liberty weapons laws in the nation, and the lowest murder rate, and the lowest poverty tax, and so on, doesn't mean it is perfect in every way, just much better than any other states on average and in those specific areas.

Thanks and I enjoyed defending you and positive repping you, even if we disagree :) Of the 3 candidates doing best in the polls, Mo is the least bad. There is a Ron Paul Republican in the race. If I lived in AL, that's the yard sign that would be in my yard and the person I'd vote for.

2nd lowest overall tax burden in the nation. More than half of NH land is in current use tax status with very low property taxes. Some communities in NH don't even have property tax. William has the right to support any statist he wants! Sure he supports the anti-liberty candidate Moore, and that is fine. Just like he had the legal right to support Obama or Clinton. Just because his chosen candidate hates us and liberty doesn't matter. His rights come first! Trip Pittman is the Ron Paul Republican, Mo Brooks is the only libertyish person with a chance, then there are the many anti-liberty candidates likes Moore. This is a somewhat free country (well, at least it is in New Hampshire), and people have the right to vote to destroy it!

87% oppose the new drink tax that is added to drinks after the already 13.25% sales tax. A new poll has found that nearly 87 percent of Cook County residents disapprove of the new Cook County Sugary and Sweetened Beverages tax that took effect Aug. 2. https://www.illinoispolicy.org/haterade-87-of-residents-disapprove-of-new-cook-county-soda-tax/ Soda is now more expensive than beer in Cook County. This encourages everyone to buy beer.

Maybe that's why William supports him? A lot of people voted for Trump not because they like him, but because he is entertaining.

NH purges every 10 years, but doesn't have motor-voters so NH doesn't fall under that law anyway. I don't know what the best time frame is but it should be done at some point for sure. This seems like an honest effort by officials in OH.

Honors meant several hours of extra homework each week and more difficult tests. AP meant taking college classes that only students that did extremely well in (the tests) got credit for taking. If a large percentage of the student body is interested in these classes, that is a good thing. The lottery to take them should be blind though, like in charter schools with incoming students.

Sales taxes keep going up and states are making it hard and hard for people to avoid them. Not only did more states increase sales taxes than decrease them this year, many more local governments increased sales taxes then decreased them. But states are also expanding sales taxes to services (which don't even fall under the sales tax holidays) and to online purchases. And look at OR, it claims to not have a sales tax yet it just created a sales tax for bikes :(

Getting rid of the holidays wouldn't lower the rates the rest of the year. The government doesn't lose enough plunder to make that much of a difference.

Chicago already has a 10.25% sales tax. Add to that the possibly more than 68% soda tax, and you are looking at paying more for taxes than for drinks in many instances. Why not just create a 50% VAT at this point?!? #TweetYourReceipt: Show us your soda tax http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-cook-county-soda-tax-perspec-0803-jm-20170802-story.html Editorial Board

Oregon has a similar bill, but I don't know if the Governor signed it or what exactly happened to it. OR and ME are both states where the voters recently voted to greatly liberalize smoking laws, so clearly these lawmakers are going against the will of the voters. By far the best. In fact, NH is the only state where jury nullification is explicitly legal and that's specifically because of free staters. If it wasn't for me, the bill wouldn't have passed the senate. However, it doesn't stop there as NH passing this inspired activists in other states to propose the law, and in multiple other states, the law was proposed because of our efforts. When it comes to passing out informed jury flyers to potential jurors, NH also leads the nation in more flyers handed out in NH than all 49 other states combined. It response to the Kelo decision there was a Constitutional Amendment in NH. The NH legislator voted 301 to 61 to put the issue before the NH voters. The NH voters voted 86% in agreement with the Constitutional Amendment.

You have to be kidding me? Bicycle helmet laws exist in most states and are often for 17 year old kids. In some places that law goes up to 21! Anyway, you can compared NH vs. VA all you want right here. https://www.freedominthe50states.org/ As you will see, NH is the freest state. VA is ranked #21st. Some big things that stand out are NH having the most pro-liberty weapons laws in the nation, no motorcycle helmet requirement, no seatbelt requirement for adults, no auto insurance requirement, no statewide or local sales or income tax, communities without property taxes, better than average cannabis laws, and the best privacy laws in the nation.

Now 18, 19, and 20 year old adults in Maine will have to turn to the black market or go to New Hampshire to buy them. Great news for cities like Rochester, Dover, and Portsmouth, NH. They should see increased traffic and more sales of everything sold in discount, convenience, and grocery stores. Even if Gov. Sununu isn't reelected, we get to keep Frank Edelblut, probably the most pro-liberty Commissioner of Education in the nation, for another 2 and 1/2 years so there will be 2 gubernatorial elections before another Commissioner of Education may be appointed ;) When Edelblut was a state rep., the libertarian New Hampshire Liberty Alliance gave him a 91% score. That's a higher score than the official Libertarian Party legislators receive in NH. When he ran for governor, he was the first candidate even endorsed by the NHLA for governor. Commissioner Edelblut recently spoke at the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers Annual Picnic and was the keynote speaker at the NHLA's annual Liberty Dinner. Yes, though, I hope and expect Sununu to be reelected :)

Do you still live in Cradle of Liberty, Taxachusetts? If you moved, perhaps to the Live Free or Die state, maybe you could create a thread about it? You are big dawg and having you in NH helping Dr. Paul would be big news!

I could see a RR about it. Ron Paul grassroots leader moves from MA to NH to help Dr. Paul. Or it could talking about you being a FSPer, or both

I'm working with RevolutionPAC for funding for the Ames Iowa Straw Poll ad in 2007.
I want to update it at the bottom.
I was told I need a PSD to do that. But it looks like it can be done with a .PDF?

Is that how the changes were made? Help.
