In a place that is desired to be there will be no unclaimed land most likely . You would be an unwanted trespasser who is violating the property of others. There is no unclaimed land here at my place, I own it . I have nothing against immigrants but there we be none taken in here nor will I ever be supporting any or any others .

    This is a good idea, but pitched this way it's a nonstarter. Even if you wanted to do it against their wishes, you'd have to get a majority in the remaining states to agree. Even excluding liberals and centrists, most conservatives don't hate California so bad that they think Californians should be stripped of citizenship. Instead of telling states they're being forced to leave, tell them they are being allowed to leave. This needs to be about self government. Tell Californians (or whoever) that since we can't all agree on how to run the government, we should peacably allow each other to try different forms of government.

    Don't rely on filling out applications and walking away. They get stacks of them. Ask to speak to the human resource/ hiring manager. If you can put a face and a personality behind the application you have a much better chance of getting considered, unless you show up in a bad mood of course.

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and we all have free will to live our lives the way we want. However, I have to say, it makes me sad to see so many obese people in the US, who have all sorts of health problems and are taking tons of medication, which profits certain industries who don't care about getting to the root of the problem but only treating the symptoms. Also, if it's true that the epidemic of obesity affects everyone's healthcare costs, then I don't think it's something that should be promoted. I'm not sure why anyone would argue with that. I believe that all people are equally valuable. But obesity is a big problem and since it can lead to many health problems, it's not something that society should treat as normal / healthy, imo.

I've got something like 100 applications out, and that should hopefully pan out by next month, but I need to earn a grand by the middle of the month or so to avoid eviction.
