I missed this post. Since we are speaking frankly, shall I mention the subset of humanity that has made self loathing an international trademark and have seemed to have taught all of Western Civilization the trick, or is that verboten? As we noted in the other thread regarding Freehold, I'm sure you are well aware of Asbury Park and what went on there. I spent two years of my festering youth in an urban prison/education camp known as Asbury Park HS this was 1978 and 1979, the rubble was still smoldering from massive riots that burned down half the town in 1972 IIRC. I won't bore with "glory days" stories, because they were not, much more like "A Boy Named Sue" than anything else...I grew up quick and I grew up mean. But I just had to comment on the "correctness" of that comment.

I read it in just the opposite manner: "you privileged crackers are not going to do a damn thing until it's you being beat by cops." But before she shot her mouth off, she should have known that white people get beat and shot by cops, at a greater rate than blacks. But facts are not what shows like The View are after. I was in Ireland recently and they burn fuel oil and peat for heating. I have to say I'm not angry at the fact that's not used here anymore. Doesn't make the inner city air that breathable I can say.

Not really. The majority of society is in favour of those things because they do not have wood stoves and they know someone that heard of someone that struggles from a neighbour that has a wood fired stove. I can see how in the inner city you may not want everyone to have a wood burning stove. That said, it's very renewable and fire is the one thing that separates us most from the animals. There are many animals that have emotions, use tools, make plans, build housing, have a community, but I haven't heard of an animal yet that makes fire. Humans have made fire for a long time, anyone that has made a campfire before knows it's in our genes.

No narrative did more to shape Trump’s relations with the press than Russiagate. All of that can be subsumed in my reference to their desire for more "power" and "control". It would not be enough for them merely to want the destruction of which you speak. They would also have to possess the ability to actually implement it - and by the means I noted, unchecked mass immigration would help provide them with (or bring them closer to) the degree of power and control necessary to achieve it. But as far as the particular point I was trying to make is concerned, it doesn't really matter what their ultimate aim might be. Even in the absence of such a goal as you describe, that point would remain: it doesn't really matter what the immigrants themselves actually want or believe, or what policies they would or would not support. Their mere presence in such large numbers, all by itself, will be (and is) used to justify and excuse the desired policies (regardless of what the ultimate goal of those policies may be). So long as significantly large numbers of immigrants are arriving here as a result of artificially political (rather than organically economic ) factors, it doesn't matter how decent or hard-working (or "libertarian", or whatever) some of those immigrants might be. Collectively and en masse, they are still just pawns and cat's-paws being used to empower a coalition of particular political factions to the detriment of liberty. An example of significantly large but organically "economic" immigration is the massive influx of Scots-Irish migrants into America in the 1800s. While this did have important political and cultural consequences (as any such large influx is apt to do), this was not the result of an intentional attempt to foster or engineer particular political outcomes (though it was certainly exploited "after the fact", so to speak, by politicians as best they could - because of course it was). The same can rarely (if at all) be said of today's (deliberate inculcation of) mass immigration. (As with so many other issues, the feds should never, ever have been permitted to have anything to say or do about it - and we are now living with the consequences of that failure.)
