On the evening of May 31st, Dr. Andrew Baker (Hennepin County’s Chief Medical Examiner) had a discussion with prosecutors about Floyd’s toxicology report. On June 1st, Amy Sweasy (Assistant County Attorney) wrote a memorandum of that discussion which - for unexplained reasons - was not release by prosecutors till August 25, 2020 - three months later. The following is noted: The level of amphetamine in Floyd’s system was 19 ng/ML ...“a stimulant hard on the heart”. The level of Fentanyl was listed as 11 ...“a fatal level under normal circumstances” “Floyd’s lungs were 2-3x their normal weight at autopsy”

Remember the "China Jon" video, AKA "Jon Huntsman's Values"? Eventually (too late), there was a ton of evidence suggesting that Jon Huntsman's own daughters created the "racist" video about him and posted it on youtube under the name NHLiberty4Paul to make Ron Paul look bad, while drawing sympathy and positive attention to Huntsman. It worked. That Friday, Saturday and Sunday before the vote, the media covered nothing but the "racist" video, stupidly pretending it was released by Paul's own campaign. Everybody and their mother couldn't wait to be interviewed to denounce the video and bad-mouth Ron Paul for the entire weekend! That Tuesday, Ron did not do as well as was expected in the supposedly libertarian state of NH.

Thanks for posting this. Have not looked at it in many years, but clearly recall how Ron Paul was brutally criticized for urging Americans to read this and understand the motivation behind terrorist attacks. Maybe I should clarify. I was no traveler, just a kid hitching a ride to the next town(s) 1/2 to 1 mile away. Other kids did it and it seemed cool and exciting - classic hobo stuff - an activity that oozed FREEDOM! We would be traveling on foot, but if a train happened to come by, we might decide to hop it. The truth is, I never really felt extremely confident about doing it, but it was a real thrill. My parents never found out (Shhh!). There was one girl - whom I did not know personally - that lived about 2 miles further up the track. She lost her footing - literally - and ended up with two amputations below the knee. It was in the papers and we all felt bad for her. Heard years later that she did alright in life with her prosthetics - got married, had kids - all the regular stuff. It was risky behavior, but I'm not sorry I did it. Would not dream of trying it again at this point in my life... well, unless I were being chased by the FBI, the Joint Terrorism Task Force and search hounds.

I yearn to see thousands of counter-protestors carrying American flags and signs saying: But we'd be facing-off with 1) heavily-funded outside interests that can PAY their mindless rabble, 2) We'd remain unprotected (from the violent mob) by our own law enforcement & security forces and 3) ultimately, we'd be hunted down, arrested, persecuted and imprisoned. I consider any freight train slow because I can see how they plod by when they hold me up in traffic. I view them as easy to hop because I did so as a teenager and was not an especially athletic person. It was fun and exciting. As to this shit here, I feel no sense of surprise, just sadness. I can attest to the fact that there are still freight trains running through NJ. I have no knowledge of the facts regarding those particular tracks near Yetman's home. Regardless, I'd say that discussion is beyond moot at this point. Hopping a freight train (it's fairly easy) would be a good way to immedately put miles between you and a pursuer, but that's all. I'm now hearing comment-section rumors that Yetman surrendered this morning. Godspeed, Yetman.

Sounds like the woods behind Yetman's home meet up with the New Jersey Pine Barrens. There's always been all kinds of folklore about the Pine Barrens. It's a million acres and rural, woodsy, swampy - supposedly still inhabited by strange people who choose to stay apart from the rest of the population. Always heard it's to be avoided and that cops won't go in there. I suppose if one has the right knowledge, one could hide in there for a long time and survive.

Ramaswamy says a lot of the right things and makes good arguments. It's just that a scant few times, I've heard him say things that make me doubt he means what he says about the concept of liberty so I distrust him. For the most part, he spreads a good message cleverly, and has the gift for being able to widen the debate, forcing others to acknowledge issues they prefer to pretend don't exist. It shocks people who expected to get off easier. He's the best at the debates. (Clearly Nikki Haley is this election's John McCain.) I don't expect him to win the nomination, but Vivek's being there is helpful to liberty and bad for neocons. At least for now, I'm thankful he's there.
