Some great discussion here. Great to have some experts. Let's do please keep it civil however. Facts & logic are enough to win. Yep, also consider the huge market for gas backup power generators... there is no electrification possible here.... beyond a box that you plug in that delivers the same power to the output. :)

Nothing inherently wrong with "electrification" but proponents might want to make sure they have the grid power to support. As-is, they clearly don't. This belongs here too: Amid Heat Wave, California Asks Electric Vehicle Owners to Limit Charging I completely agree with Son of Liberty, it's way better to cook on gas. I'd use an outdoor gas setup over electric. From the piece: "We may need some behavior change, we may need to turn on their hoods when cooking."

Pete, I am so sorry to hear this. You have been an unwavering rock of liberty and a pillar of this community. It can be hard for us to sometimes see it, and as hard to say it, but you are valued here and have made a difference for many, myself included. As AF and Sam say... Peace and strength.

For the sake of argument, let's say you statement is correct, that the economy did boom when there was a top tax rate of 91%.

Question- does that make it right? Did

"America has the highest gun violence in the world" (reference to murder rate)

Murder is a terrible thing and certainly no one wants to see one of their loved ones murdered.
