After ISIS insurgents reportedly withdrew from the area without a fight, (surprise  ) SDF units managed to dash southwards of their positions on the M7-highway and capture the Tabiyeh and Al-Isba oil and gas fields in a remarkable coup.

$8M isn't going to go far... part food/part medical designated for 'children'. The South said it aimed to send $4.5 million worth of nutritional products for children and pregnant women through the World Food Programme and $3.5 million worth of vaccines and medicinal treatments through UNICEF. “We have consistently said we would pursue humanitarian aid for North Korea in consideration of the poor conditions children and pregnant women are in there, apart from political issues,” said Unification Minister Cho Myong-gyon.

According to a White House statement released today, President Trump and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani agreed that U.S. companies should aid in the development of Afghanistan’s rare earth minerals http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-afghanistan-minerals/trump-ghani-agree-u-s-can-help-develop-afghanistans-rare-earth-minerals-idUSKCN1BX06G?utm_source=applenews U.S. President Donald Trump and Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani agreed at a meeting in New York on Thursday that U.S. companies could help develop Afghanistan’s rare earth minerals, the White House said in a statement. “They agreed that such initiatives would help American companies develop materials critical to national security while growing Afghanistan’s economy and creating new jobs in both countries, therefore defraying some of the costs of United States assistance as Afghans become more self-reliant,” the White House said. The two leaders also expressed their commitment to fully implement Trump’s new South Asia strategy to defeat terrorism, the statement said.

no scope Generally speaking, the act of killing someone in a first person shooter game with a one shot gun (sniper rifle, bolt action rifle, etc) without using a telescopic sight or sniper scope. Most commonly, the term is used to mean that you fired such a gun from the hip and killed someone with it, however it can also (debatably) mean that you pulled up iron sights on a sniper rifle / bolt action rifle and then killed someone that way. The term does not apply to shotguns, semi-automatic rifles (unless they can be scoped), or any automatic weapon. No scoping is generally viewed as an act of skill (or luck, depending on who you talk to and the mechanics of the game you're playing). This is because you are killing someone with one shot through a (usually) large crosshair and also risk exposing yourself if you miss. However, the amount of prestige that is attached to a single no scope depends on the distance and rate of success; i.e. if you no scope once and do this by killing a guy who you are literally next to, that doesn't take much skill, but if you continually no scope guys who are halfway across the map, that's some seriously good shit on your behalf. On a related note, no scope headshots get you some serious prestige if you can pull them off constantly.

I don't think you realize just how the Fed enables government by allowing them to borrow, thus bypassing our input on their spending by making our cash contribution a matter of us not becoming poorer by direct taxation, but rather by inflation. I don't think you've seen enough peace in your time to understand how the exigencies of war stifle debate. Important? indubitably. Unquestionably. Beyond a shadow of a doubt. More important? May I refer you back to what I said about the Fed being the one domino which can topple a million other dominoes?

More important than peace and prosperity? Really? The government is sending our children to die, even though we are not in danger. They are alienating all the people of the whole world and turning them against us. The government is degrading our wages and stealing our savings. You say there are more important issues than these. I don't agree. Period.

Gee, I wonder why that is. Could the fact that the currency no longer fluctuates both up and down, but only becomes more worthless with time have anything to do with it? Where's that graph the Zippy account always used to post that showed the value of the dollar fluctuating both up and down before 1913, and only ever fluctuating down and never up since?

Ron Paul had a sign on his desk that said, 'Don't steal--the government hates competition'. Memes that call for competition with the status quo might be the key. Common core has failed, but the government has made it mandatory, so we can't see if some other educational scheme might work better. Free market health care was kicking Medicare's ass, so the government made it mandatory to charge everyone the inflated charges necessary to cover the incredible costs of Medicare paperwork. The government designs our cars, and it isn't possible to test other safety schemes on American roads. Using money other than the Federal Reserve Note is illegal. If this government stuff is so damned great, why is it illegal to try something else? Memes that ask this question could make quite a difference.

Damned good idea! This is where the battle is. The big theme seems to be, it government would work better than it does if only the right people were in charge. We've been failing to put the right people in charge for an awfully long time now; surely there's ample meat for making memes in that simple fact.

Libertarianism and "plumbline" conservatism are mutually exclusive. Conservatism has long been opposed to classical liberalism-the precursor to "plumbline" libertarianism.

Right there is where you find it! It seriously has saved me a lot of money and will pay itself off within a year. I use the washer, then spin "dry," and hang up to finish the drying. It's working great for where we're at right now, my bathroom has turned into the laundry room--much better than spending $$$ on laundromat nastiness. We also have a balcony where I can dry/grow herbs and some tomatoes. I'm making the best of what I've got.

* Enforce Border Security – America should be guarding her own borders and enforcing her own laws instead of policing the world and implementing UN mandates.

* No Amnesty - The Obama Administration’s endorsement of so-called “Comprehensive Immigration Reform,” granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, will only encourage more law-breaking.

* Abolish the Welfare State – Taxpayers cannot continue to pay the high costs to sustain this powerful incentive for illegal immigration. As Milton Friedman famously said, you can’t have open borders and a welfare state.

* End Birthright Citizenship – As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be granted U.S. citizenship, we’ll never be able to control our immigration problem.

If you are a young mother, you need to know, right now, that the advice that DonnaY gives is just horrible. She did not graduate from high school, and considers herself a researcher because she watches YouTube videos and reads conspiracy things. She posts these things because she apparently has a deep seated need to feel smarter than the rest of the world...painting herself as some wise sage in a world gone mad. In fact, she is delisional and dangerous.

The articles that she posts

that hosting a picture in a thread isn't this hard for everybody. But linking straight to it was a disaster in that it was HUGE - filled up the whole page on the laptop. I downloaded it and then tried to insert it from my desktop, but no luck.

So here it is: a picture of a humidifier (maybe) with absolutely no relevant text to go with it. If it's relevant text you want, go here.
