thanks. it was a small typo. admittedly he thinks like a Know Nothing Party person, at times, i feel, but yes. he was born roughly at the midpoint of the 20th Century. He's clearly not 175 years of age.

he's 75, was born in 1945. In ten years, he'd be 85. Assuming he runs in 2024 or 2028 and wins... By 2030 he's either gotten his 2nd term, or he's halfway through it, assuming he wins either election and the Amendment preventing him from a 3rd term is in effect. Lets assume he never wanted a coup but does want a second term, 2o32 is the last possible year for him to run for the presidency, he'd be 87 then. The odds are, its going to be 2024 or he gives up on any future POTUS run. He has heirs.

He'd say he's got a second bill of health, he's faced down an impeachment trial, twice. Any political position he wants to run for remains open unless he's hit with a censure vote. He has the rest of his life to write his memoirs of the last four tumultuous years.

If he has 2/3rds of the U.S Senate vote to convict, he can designate an "heir" for the MAGA movement. He cam campaign for his heir. He then might get back into the White House and D.C, even if he has been censured under Clause 3 of the 14th Amendment. Being found guilty only puts a crimp on his style, for a short and brief span of time, if MAGA becomes a political party all to itself. He is not going away too soon.

I nominate Erik Satie's Gymnopédie No. 1 for the honor ... This selection is especially appropriate given the following (bold emphasis added): The work's unusual title comes from the French form of gymnopaedia, the ancient Greek word for an annual festival where young men danced naked – or perhaps simply unarmed.

They don't care - because proof doesn't matter. Power > Proof. Outside the vacuous homilies of grade-school civics class textbooks, if you don't have the power to force a presentation of proofs, then it doesn't matter what proofs your adversaries do or do not have. But if you do have the power, then things should never have gotten to that point in the first place. And in any case , politicians (like everyone else) will believe whatever their preferred narratives tell them to believe, regardless of any recitations of facts (or any presentations of proofs erected upon those facts). Even in those cases where you and your adversaries are more or less equal in power, with neither able to exercise sufficient power to prevent the other from effectively requiring a presentation of proofs.

Antifa Violence Forces Portland Bookstore to Cancel Book on... Antifa Violence A book by Andy Ngo called Unmasked: Inside Antifa's Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy, is about the violent tactics that Antifa uses to coerce and intimidate its ideological opponents. And after a Portland bookstore began carrying the book, Antifa threatened to destroy the store and organized a seething protest outside one of the locations. The “Anti-Fascist” activists surrounded the bookseller, plastered banners on its windows, and forced it to close early “to keep employees and customers safe.” Antifa’s intimidation worked. The store responded that they will not carry the physical books, but that they would still keep the book in their online catalogue in order to “ light on the dark corners of public discourse.”

U.S. House Adopts Gender-Neutral Language for Rules Document Trudy Ring (06 January 2021) The U.S. House of Representatives has approved gender-neutral language in the official House rules and established a permanent Office of Diversity and Inclusion. These measures were part of a rules package adopted Monday, The Hill reports. The House approves a set of rules at the beginning of each session of Congress, and this week marks the start of the 117th Congress. The changes mean that the rules document will use language such as “parent,” “child,” and “sibling” instead of “mother,” “father,” “son,” daughter,” “brother,” and “sister.” It will also replace “chairman” with “chair,” “seamen” with “seafarers,” and “himself” and “herself” with “themself.” The Office of the Whistleblower Ombudsman will become the Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds.

Biden to deploy FEMA, National Guard to set up Covid vaccine clinics across the U.S. President-elect Joe Biden plans to use FEMA and the National Guard to build coronavirus vaccine clinics across the United States, according to new details of his Covid-19 vaccination plan released by his transition team on Friday. The Biden administration will also “quickly jumpstart” efforts to make the vaccines available at local pharmacies across the U.S., which should ensure that Americans have access to doses at facilities only miles from their home, according to the plan. “Here’s the deal: The more people we vaccinate, the faster we do it, the sooner we can save lives and put this pandemic behind us and get back to our lives and loved ones,” Biden said at a speech in Wilmington, Delaware, Thursday night. “We won’t get out of it overnight and we can’t do it as a separated nation.”

true.... but thats the faction inside the Democratic Party that is like the fringe elements inside the Trotskyites of yesteryear who were torn between being upright, law biding citizens who are pacifists, and the real "mad dog" bomb throwers. The folks who were like the more militant members of the Weather Underground much later on. I miss the CLEAN FOR GENE kids, who were 5 to 15 years older than me, and i had looked at the Democratic Convention and was upset over the chaos in the streets. What was worse was the Chicago cops going at least ten floors up in the hotel, and taking a billy club to EUGENE McCARTHY's campaign workers and staff.LBJ liked what

Assume 10 of 'em leaves the rally early, to connect up with 15 leaders of the movement near the Capitol steps, soon to push metaphoric buttons on the 200 or so PROUD*BOYs who had also been bored at the rally. At that point some 3.000 to 5,000 hardcore Trumpsters follow the long

79% of Americans now agree the nation is "falling apart" “Fourth-fifths of Americans — both Republicans and Democrats — say America is falling apart,” Axios said in an analysis of the poll, which was conducted Monday through Wednesday. “Why it matters: The question, asked Tuesday and Wednesday, reflects the collision of crises besetting the country — the backdrop of a pandemic, recession, decoupling of red/blue America, and racial injustice and the immediacy of the Capitol insurrection, followed by Impeachment II,” the pollster said.

Libertarianism and "plumbline" conservatism are mutually exclusive. Conservatism has long been opposed to classical liberalism-the precursor to "plumbline" libertarianism.

  7. Oh--by the way, look for it other places than Amazon, you might find it cheaper if you actually intend to buy either one.

Right there is where you find it! It seriously has saved me a lot of money and will pay itself off within a year. I use the washer, then spin "dry," and hang up to finish the drying. It's working great for where we're at right now, my bathroom has turned into the laundry room--much better than spending $$$ on laundromat nastiness. We also have a balcony where I can dry/grow herbs and some tomatoes. I'm making the best of what I've got.

If you are a young mother, you need to know, right now, that the advice that DonnaY gives is just horrible. She did not graduate from high school, and considers herself a researcher because she watches YouTube videos and reads conspiracy things. She posts these things because she apparently has a deep seated need to feel smarter than the rest of the world...painting herself as some wise sage in a world gone mad. In fact, she is delisional and dangerous.
