In keeping with my New Martian Year's Resolution to only post positive uplifting threads, here you are. Because life is happy and death is sad. Right? Background for persons of under-rock persuasion: Ruth Bader-Ginsburg is a judge on the US Supreme court. You can tell from her hyphenated name she is a horrible person (and also some other things about her background if you are attuned to such things). She is on-record in favor of legalizing (check!) infanticide and legalizing pedophilia (or to be clear: raping children). So: a flaming "r" rabbit-person. She had a huge, invasive surgery a couple-few months ago that would have normally killed someone her age (she is ancient). The mind-control covered this, then covered her recovery for a few days.... until it suddenly didn't.

Birth control pills are weird stuff. Let me list off just three top weirdnesses: 1. They make women’s brains shrink (The Journal of Human Brain Mapping, April 2, 2015) So yes, to answer you question: I would be very surprised if it somehow left amygdalae unaffected while shrinking, reconfiguring, and remodeling the rest of the brain, as it does. 2. They make women’s ovaries shrink (Science Daily, July 1, 2014) 3. The tiny trace amounts which get into the wastewater system and from there into waterways in general are causing a massive amount of “intersex” fish and amphibians. (The studies on this are Legion) There are these same trace amounts in, chances are, the water you are drinking every day! So, question arises in the suspicious mind: What is it doing to YOU, young man?

Turkey, Russia, Iran May Conduct Operations Against Militants in Idlib - Erdogan ANKARA (Sputnik) - Turkey, Russia, and Iran may conduct joint military operations against militants in the rebel-controlled Syrian province of Idlib, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on 16 February. "Joint operations can be held at any time in line with the developments. There is no obstacle in front of these. Current measures are for the comfort, happiness and prosperity of barrel bombing the people in Idlib. What is essential for us is the security massacre of the people of Idlib", Erdogan told reporters, as quoted by the Hurriyet Daily News media outlet Roiders.

I could see some ire getting raised if such a bill failed to pass by a single vote (I wouldn't agree with the ire, but I could see it). But getting pissed because it passed but failed to do so unanimously by a single vote? That just goes to show how incredibly petty and spiteful these assholes really are ...

Actually, the correct title of the book you mentioned is So Long and Thanks for All the Fish. It was the fourth book in the series. The part of the story you are referring to appeared in the second book, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. The "useless middlemen" who were sent off on Golgafrincham Ark Ship B were people like TV producers, insurance salesmen, security guards, hairdressers, telephone sanitizers and management consultants. They eventually arrived at and colonized Earth, becoming our ancestors. Meanwhile, back on Golgafrincham, the entire remaining population of leaders, scientists, artists and people who "made things and did things" was wiped out by a virulent disease contracted from a dirty telephone ...

Trump boasts he saved 3 million people in Syria as he makes bid for Nobel Peace Prize :check: Utterly Delusional. BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:40 P.M.) – U.S. President Donald Trump made a bid for the Nobel Peace Prize during a speech at the White House on Friday. “They gave it to Obama. He didn’t even know what he got it for. He was there for about 15 seconds and he got the Nobel Prize. He said, ‘Oh, what did I get it for?’…With me, I probably will never get it. But if you look at Idlib Province in Syria, I stopped the slaughter of perhaps 3 million people. Nobody talks about that,” Trump said, as quoted by Newsweek.

This is straight out of the paper: So even if it's accurate at face value (which I am inclined to believe it isn't) now we have to remember their a priori hypothesis. They are studying *farmers* with a *very high exposure*. So you can cite this study to say we should promote using more and better protection equipment But you can’t use it to say glyphosate should be banned, or that the trace amounts in your cereal will give you cancer.

But I'm a bitch because I use sarcasm for people who don't understand math and science? It's ok - I'll take mean over stupid any day. It is a meta-analysis, not an actual study. The authors admit it was released specifically to get attention diverted away from another study that, shockingly, you didn't post that found no link between cancer and glyphostate. I understand nobody is going to read this, but I won't ever bow to the endless train of utter scientific ignorance that derails libertarian credibility. In the study, they are confounding glyphosate with products containing glyphosate. They are also not talking about general public exposure, but applicator exposure. This latter point ignores that glyphosate is just one of hundreds of chemicals that applicators will be exposed to, a factor that hasn't been accounted for. Glyphosate is one of the more popular agrichemicals, so it is more likely to be common (or an easy correlator) to all those exposed to multiple harmful chemicals. In other words, this paper shows a blatant lack of understanding of how to go about testing the central hypothesis.

Libertarianism and "plumbline" conservatism are mutually exclusive. Conservatism has long been opposed to classical liberalism-the precursor to "plumbline" libertarianism.

  7. Oh--by the way, look for it other places than Amazon, you might find it cheaper if you actually intend to buy either one.

Right there is where you find it! It seriously has saved me a lot of money and will pay itself off within a year. I use the washer, then spin "dry," and hang up to finish the drying. It's working great for where we're at right now, my bathroom has turned into the laundry room--much better than spending $$$ on laundromat nastiness. We also have a balcony where I can dry/grow herbs and some tomatoes. I'm making the best of what I've got.

Anti-vaxxers, responsible for a 30 percent uptick in totally preventable diseases in the world, have blood on their hands. They shouldn't be considered civilized members of society. If they refuse to listen to a century of scientific studies confirming time and time again that vaccination is an unquestionable good for humanity, then it's time for us to start treating anti-vaxxers as what they are: dangerous and worthy of shame and condemnation. If we can't convince anti-vaxxers to change their minds, we must attach enough social stigma to the delusion that agnostics cease to join them.

If you are a young mother, you need to know, right now, that the advice that DonnaY gives is just horrible. She did not graduate from high school, and considers herself a researcher because she watches YouTube videos and reads conspiracy things. She posts these things because she apparently has a deep seated need to feel smarter than the rest of the world...painting herself as some wise sage in a world gone mad. In fact, she is delisional and dangerous.

that hosting a picture in a thread isn't this hard for everybody. But linking straight to it was a disaster in that it was HUGE - filled up the whole page on the laptop. I downloaded it and then tried to insert it from my desktop, but no luck.

So here it is: a picture of a humidifier (maybe) with absolutely no relevant text to go with it. If it's relevant text you want, go here.

Beware the seller giving advice
