Exactly. First it was the war on drugs. Then the war on terror. Now the war on immigrants. Each one of these wars on us is only fear mongering propaganda designed to get people to accept growth of the big government police state. Funny how the propagandists here aren't blowing the thread up to 10 pages of calling Whitehead a communist for speaking the truth, lol. Contrary to what the propagandists would have everyone believe, opposing the growth of the big government police state =/= being in favor of an open borders policy or a leftist.

Great article, well worth the read! https://www.rutherford.org/publications_resources/john_whiteheads_commentary/the_jackboots_are_coming_mass_arrests_power_grabs_and_the_politics_of_fear “Never has our future been more unpredictable, never have we depended so much on political forces that cannot be trusted to follow the rules of common sense and self-interest—forces that look like sheer insanity, if judged by the standards of other centuries.” ― Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism How do you persuade a populace to embrace totalitarianism, that goose-stepping form of tyranny in which the government has all of the power and “we the people” have none? You persuade the people that the menace they face (imaginary or not) is so sinister, so overwhelming, so fearsome that the only way to surmount the danger is by empowering the government to take all necessary steps to quash it, even if that means allowing government jackboots to trample all over the Constitution.

A textbook example of exactly how it is allowed. Although such collectivist name calling is against the rules, it's simply ignored, and then when this is pointed out, it's always the same "play dumb" routine. The "perfect environment" isn't necessar, that comment is only a red herring.

That means 70% feel otherwise. Looks like trump's propaganda campaign against immigrants is failing pretty badly. I doubt he'll be able to get it up over 50% before he loses the next election.

No regulations will ever be cut by trump that actually benefit the people. You know, I've always wanted to build a pipeline through indian land! And now I can even brew up GMO whatever in my basement and easily sell the stuff, I've always wanted to do that as well! Aren't these the increases in freedom that everyone wants?

I was going to post this article myself, since it has a lot of bearing on what's been happening here. +rep to the OP. It's very obvious that RPF has been the victim of a propaganda campaign by TPTB and trump (which are the same thing), with one account posting over 36 times a day, far more than even the most prolific genuine Ron Paul supporter here, racking up more posts in 3 years than the most prolific posters have in over a decade. For those that don't belive this is really happening, that TPTB / trump is attempting to spread propaganda here, I refer to an article linked in the OP's article, that confirms this online propaganda campaign: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/us-iran-congress-meeting-money-trump-conflict-a8954191.html Here, anyone critical of trump is called a "socialist", "demoncrat", communist", etc.

And of course, another excellent example of emotional manipulation is collectivist labelling and name calling. Calling everyone who disagrees with you a "socialist", "leftist", "communist", etc is an emotional manipulation used to suppress dissent. Always referring to immigrants as "invaders", "socialists", etc is an emotional manipulation used to attempt getting people to accept fear and hate. How often does this occur here on RPF? Who is attempting this sort of emotional manipulation here, and why?

Yes, it's interesting that his sock puppet account got dusted off. Perhaps 36+ posts a day is too obvious. Or perhaps he realizes how badly his propaganda is failing, and needs the appearance of having some backup.

Amash, Sanford, and RPF are all excellent examples of the lengths to which trump / TPTB (which are the exact same thing, of course) are going to squash those who are willing to make a stand in continuing Ron Paul's work. Speak out against trump in the political realm, and you get a primary challenger that is well-funded by the globalists. Speak out against trump here, and you get 36+ posts of venom and hate a day directed at you by an obvious paid propagandist.

And that's all this person's got, is to call anyone exposing their propaganda a liar. Nevermind that several genuine long-time Ron Paul supporters speak from direct personal experience, observation, and actual interaction with the people they're attempting to demonize. And of course, if you keep repeating this garbage often enough, people just might believe it. With 36+ posts a day pushing trump's propaganda, no history of activism or supporting Ron Paul, and continuous direct opposition to Ron Paul, does anyone actually think that this guy has any credibility whatsoever? If so, I'm sure that PT Barnum would love to meet you!

Obscure is not the same as not being a threat. After all, Rand, Amash, Massie, and others in lesser positions have been elected, and TPTB cannot afford to have those efforts built upon and expanded. It is an attempt to get people to blindly hate a large group of potentially very strong political allies, a group of people who avoid being tracked and spied on by the government, ignore victimless crime laws, distrust the government and it's media organs, start businesses, avoid taxes, detest welfare, avoid any interactions with the government, don't keep their money in banks, pay in cash, and are highly agoristic. After all, it's easier to just hate that guy who came here, started a business, has no interaction with the government whatsoever, and lives anonymously, and call him an "invader" and "socialist", than it is to admit than he's a whole lot smarter and has a lot more balls than someone who willingly submits to additional biometrics to keep their "job" so that they can have the government take a cut of their paycheck before putting it in a bank. The propagandists just want you to keep submitting to the government, and not bother to ally with people who actually live freely. Instead of actually living freely and working to get Liberty Candidates elected, the propagandists would rather see you blame others for our country's problems, mock those here who do actually live freely and call them names, and turn your back on why you came here to RPF in the first place. Of course they will only mock and call names, and attempt to claim that the reality that I live every day is somehow fantasy. They sure don't want you actually interacting with these people and finding out how much they're lying to you, let alone letting them serve as examples of how to live freely and helping to get Liberty Candidates elected.

Bingo! This is exactly why there is such an intense propaganda campaign against immigrants. TPTB don't want people being shown that they are able to live freely and not be surveiled and tracked by the government, or any further development of a successful model of agorism. I find it very ironic that most Americans have absolutely no understanding of why I live as I do and find it "strange", yet all the immigrants that I know are amazed that I "live as we do" and highly respect me for it. All this talk of immigrants being "socialists" is just propaganda, complete with phony statistics and fake news, the reality is that they espouse our founding principles much more so than the vast majority of Americans themselves.

Of course it's deliberate. That's exactly what propagandists do, is to present everything in the terms designed to evoke a strong and specific emotional reaction. And do it for over 36 posts per day, or over 41,000 posts in 3 years, far more than even the most prolific genuine Ron Paul supporters who have been here for over a decade. Despite how totally obvious this propagandist is, this is fully sanctioned by the site owner and mods.

https://sputniknews.com/analysis/201906071075704924-trumps-mexico-tariff-threat-lower-federal-interest-rates/ The people of TX also probably don't like the government stealing their land to turn our country into east germany or china. Interesting that MI is also mentioned, perhaps this helps explain intensity of the attacks on Amash.

Gee, no thumbs up in the thread title, and no gushing praise from the shylls? Are they perhaps starting to see that the whole immigration thing is nothing more than a stalking horse for trump expanding the police state? Or are they still too in awe of their Authoritarian Idol to make the connection?

This is exactly what every liberal, neocon, trumpette, and shyll says whenever they argue for shredding the Constitution and Bill Of Rights, and rejecting the principles that our country was founded on.

I know we had talked a number of times, but I can't recall, where did you end up in NH?

While not a "free stater" I'm a liberty person that moved here long before the FSP was even thought of.

Maybe I can make the welcome a little more sincere.

If you're ever over in the Carroll county area, let me know, like I said, I'll buy.
