The crux is...the powers that be know they let a core group of organizers slip away. 25 to 75 people. Glenn Greenwald is currently in Brazil. MAGA got set up royally. Trump fed into things, i feel... click on this link if you dare....

Did Putin's operatives pose as 'true believers" and buy merchandise? Look like converts on the Right, then talk up things to radicalize the groups they were part of? Was the goal the linkage the Pro-Trump groups seem to have that day? Some wore masks but the others were praised when they did not. Its almost like as if Stalinists posed as Nazis, then hung out to dry anyone to the right of Leon Trotsky. Most Trumpsters are to the right of Leon Trotsky. The MAGA hat wearing Trumpsters were easy for our FBI to arrest. Most radicals are usually more hot tempered than they are clever. Of course Moderate/Centrists are as boring as paint drying, usually. We saw play acting. People talked into a cult-like group conformity. Doing things that day, they normally would not have. Will they ever get a federal pardon?

In Colonial America, in the 13 Colonies before our Revolution, dissent was often dealt with abruptly and sternly by the governor of the state in question. I placed the 1715 Riot Act online because it was one of the more severe measures. Glenn Greenwald just penned an opinion piece that dances around the question as to what triggered the riot, and what the drumbeat for the militarization of out police departments let the authorities do, ever since the War on Drugs began. Are our chickens coming home to roost? Nixon once got political monies from the dictators affiliated with us. Our War on Terror had people doing enlistments after enlistments. PTSD burnt people out. Sanity was replaced by nervous breakdowns & suicides. The Right has often recruited ex-vets, they have a level of training. Toss in the way cults pull "true believers" into them, and the way the internet lets conspiracy theories spread, and we see how the people who saw the crowd gather could be talked into conforming with the group leaders who had a plan ahead of time. The public at large is still taking this all in. In two years, HOUSE and Senate seats come up.

Yes and no, they are split. Some want him to totally retire, even if he avoids jail, and can run for public office. They see him as a loose cannon.

Shades of Millard Fillmore and his departure from the Whigs. Also. If his Patriot Party comes into being, it will pull voters from the GOP, the Libertarians and the Constitution parties, less so from the Green or the Democratic. It changes the political landscape, it makes it all more difficult for a candidate like Jerry Ford or Bob Dole to get into the White House. DJT is about to rewire the whole political landscape.

In the late 1960s and then thru the 1970s many Anti-War groups were infiltrated by undercover agents, our gov't had paid informers. In the 1930s globally, many Trotskyite groups were infiltrated by Nazis. Sometimes what you seem to see is not what you actually do get, if you can delve deep into the swim of things. There are times when DJT spews lies. QUOTE

Sadly.......yes. The rioters took TRUMP literally. The core group of agitators may have walked up PENN AVE ahead of most of the groundlings at the rally, but they had assumed that POTUS was with them in spirit, and had their backs. I think any participation of Leftists/Antifa is very exaggerated. The mainly maskless rioters, most who had gone inside the building, are facing a stiff stint in prison if found guilty. Any pardons they can expect are contingent on a GOP POTUS being a Trumpster at heart & 100% willing to take the political heat on the issue down the road.

Even if he's going to be too busy, if whoever is running it WANTs the Joe Biden fanboys & fangirls to leap in, they may realize the number of flamewars would be legendary. You'd have an influx of partisan BIDEN people leaping into the comfort zone of the Trumpster "true believers" who tend to go along for the ride. Talking about fireworks!!! If someone wants back in, then its up to admin. Anyone triggering a flamewar is swiftly dealt with.

thanks. it was a small typo. admittedly he thinks like a Know Nothing Party person, at times, i feel, but yes. he was born roughly at the midpoint of the 20th Century. He's clearly not 175 years of age.

he's 75, was born in 1945. In ten years, he'd be 85. Assuming he runs in 2024 or 2028 and wins... By 2030 he's either gotten his 2nd term, or he's halfway through it, assuming he wins either election and the Amendment preventing him from a 3rd term is in effect. Lets assume he never wanted a coup but does want a second term, 2o32 is the last possible year for him to run for the presidency, he'd be 87 then. The odds are, its going to be 2024 or he gives up on any future POTUS run. He has heirs.

He'd say he's got a second bill of health, he's faced down an impeachment trial, twice. Any political position he wants to run for remains open unless he's hit with a censure vote. He has the rest of his life to write his memoirs of the last four tumultuous years.

If he has 2/3rds of the U.S Senate vote to convict, he can designate an "heir" for the MAGA movement. He cam campaign for his heir. He then might get back into the White House and D.C, even if he has been censured under Clause 3 of the 14th Amendment. Being found guilty only puts a crimp on his style, for a short and brief span of time, if MAGA becomes a political party all to itself. He is not going away too soon.

true.... but thats the faction inside the Democratic Party that is like the fringe elements inside the Trotskyites of yesteryear who were torn between being upright, law biding citizens who are pacifists, and the real "mad dog" bomb throwers. The folks who were like the more militant members of the Weather Underground much later on. I miss the CLEAN FOR GENE kids, who were 5 to 15 years older than me, and i had looked at the Democratic Convention and was upset over the chaos in the streets. What was worse was the Chicago cops going at least ten floors up in the hotel, and taking a billy club to EUGENE McCARTHY's campaign workers and staff.LBJ liked what

01-15-2021, 08:51 PM with at least 30 to 80 TERABYTES of streamed stuff that could trigger an arrest, there are the things that did not disappear. they are now archived. we are in the middle of a crackdown. LETs SAY I AM OPEN to the argument 15 to 30 LEFTiSTs could have egged on roughly 200 to 500 Trumpsters to do things that were low treason or a felony. Then split, exit plan intact. Assume 10 of 'em leaves the rally early, to connect up with 15 leaders of the movement near the Capitol steps, soon to push metaphoric buttons on the 200 or so PROUD*BOYs who had also been bored at the rally. At that point some 3.000 to 5,000 hardcore Trumpsters follow the long

I expect C4L to be our future as well, which doesn't mean we won't be in the GOP, just means we won't 'take directions' from the GOP.

I won't vote for Gary. Not thinking ahead to November, really, just August.
