I'm very lucky I live in an area now with a very heavy Mennonite presence - when I sit for the anthem, I imagine people think I am Mennonite along with the hundreds in the audience doing the same. ... and to the above image, signing your name on the end of a document and wearing army fatigues, to become a pawn of the state, does not make you a hero. Perpetuating this myth does nothing but create more VICTIMS of the state.

I guess you didn't get the sarcasm, and the joke :P It's one of the most heated debates in NJ, sparking outrage in diners and breakfast shops across the state :) The state spit is real. Punches have been thrown over the debate for sure. When NJ.com polled about it, it "produced 70,000 votes, gathered more than 25,000 Facebook shares and thousands of tweets on Twitter, replete with...colorful and passionate language." :D BTW, it's Taylor Ham.

This guy is a fucking idiot. Everyone knows 78% of NJians would agree it's a taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich.

As a exotic fish and not-so-common-as-a-pet small creature enthusiast... Please don't put a betta in a blender. They need at minimum 2.5g, not those shitty small-ass "betta keepers" you see sold at pet stores, and I think a 2.5g is way too small even for one anyway. They also require a carnivorous diet (most flakes are horrible for them) and must not be OVERfed, a stable warm temperature (room temp won't cut it, unless you live in a more tropical location), and frequent water changes if you do not use a filter, especially in a smaller tank. I recommend changing at least once a week for a 5g, and 2-3 times a week if using a 2.5g. I own exotic hermit crabs... really sad how pet stores promote wrong care information for bettas as they do with hermits! :( I cringe when I see parents letting their children take home hermits in one of those plastic, metal-wire "hermit crab hotels."

There are numerous statistical reports that show in general black males are more involved in, or as equally involved in, their children's lives as other demographics. For example, here, where the sample size is representative of the US population. From the study:

By your logic, then, blacks would commit less violent crimes, as the "absent black father" theme is a myth - I don't suspect you'd trust Health Statistics, though, which just published some interesting findings a few weeks ago.

Nirvikalpa replied to a thread ER experience in Open Discussion
No it doesn't. Not even close. Back in my early days in EMS we had a dispatch call for a woman who believed she was miscarriaging. She knew was miscarriaging. She was the first person we dropped off at the hospital that shift, and 12 hours later when we dropped off our last, she was still on a gurney in the hallway, bleeding and bleeding. My heart bled for her. How alone, scared, and helpless she must have felt, and for all the world to see. Still gets me emotional thinking about it.

Of course I know where Kingwood is. I find it more suprising that someone from Kingwood would know where Splendora is

Kingwood? Pretty cool to see people on this site that live close to home.

Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination
    And when he's tall
he's what we call a dinosaur sensation

Barney's friends are big and small
they come from lots of places
after school they meet to play
    and sing with happy faces

Barney shows us lots of things
    Like how to play pretend
    ABC's, and 123's
And how to be a friend

Barney comes to play with us
    Whenever we may need him
Barney can be your friend too
    If you just make-believe him!
