And they violate ours by coercion of govt by the ability to establish a Monopoly. Edit: Should Google be Regulated? NO. Not unless they become such a monopoly that they are effectively a Utility.

There is a big difference between using ones Freedom of Speech, and flat out BUYING Politicians. There is a big difference between an individuals free speech and corporations free speech. If you havent been paying attention, the corporations shit on us by manipulating and coercing and bribing our elected representatives. Elected. Yeah, that is kind of funny tho isnt it? The head of the FDA was already employed by Monsanto (now owned by Bayer), or has been offered a job at Monsanto once they leave their position of high power. Does that sound like corporations really have our best interests in mind? Corporations are NOT people, and being "a group of people" does not entitle them to more Rights than any one person, which is exactly what they are doing. If things were all peachy keen, then why is it that so many of our disastrous bills are flat out written by Corporate Lawyers and not even read at all by most of our representatives?

No, what I want is a smaller govt where there is no one in power for groups of any label to influence. Restriction of Govt IS Free Speech. That includes limiting govts privilege to listen only to the groups based on label, such as "Business" and "Corporation".

Then you end up with a Democracy, exactly what those like Jefferson, one of the first true Anti Federalists, wanted desperately to avoid at all costs. Does being a part of a group make any man "more" equal than any other man? That is exactly what is implied with Corporations and Democracy. "I am part of Group X, therefore my voice carries more weight than that individual." And Democracy is nothing more than the group with more people taking away the rights of the group with less people.

Hi everyone, My father passed away on August 16th from complications after heart surgery. It has been a difficult month to say the least, but by the grace of God, we are coping. In this world, he was a great man, hardworking and loyal, and completely devoted to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him. This coming Sunday is his 40 day memorial which is a big thing in my Church's tradition. Please pray for him and for my family. Thank you and God bless you all.

People should have Rights, not Corporations. Google is not acting like a person. And really, Google should be adhering itself to the Constitution, not manipulating lawmakers to bypass and circumvent existing protections so it can make more money at our expense. Just my two cents.

Internet of Things. Thats why the new one costs more but the parts are crappier than your last decent model. The words "Woods" and "Throw" come to mind, especially IoT.

How about quit letting Google bribe govt with Lobbyists first? If you dont get rid of the Lobbyists, then it doesnt matter if its Google or whatever follows Google.

Agreed. And over the last several thousand years, the standard of "sexy" has changed dramatically. Being skinny with washboard abs used to be a symbol of poverty while being fat was an indicator you could afford food, but that was way back prior to at least the turn of the previous century. Today, its the rich people who can afford both the time and the money for good quality food and exercise. The roles today of "sexy" and "healthy" are the exact opposite of what they were centuries ago.

May not have enough ad blocking stuff elsewhere on your computer too. Ads run a ton of scripts and those scripts can cause major slowdown in your browser also. As always, a very easy solution is an Ad Blocking Hosts File: MVPS Ad Blocking Hosts File winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm If you've never used it before, I guarantee you will be shocked at how much a single static file makes things on your web browsing speed up. Just restart your computer after putting it in the directory appropriate for your OS.

I think that has to do with the quality of the food that people can afford, as well as the type of jobs. So many of our manufacturing jobs have gone overseas, and we are left with a lot less physical jobs, which I think also contributes to our overall fatness. And yes, other factors involved too, like time to exercise, motivation, etc.

Depends on the way other browsers are configured. Too many plugins in Firefox can slow it down quite a bit. I dont have any experience with Safari tho so cant say much about browser performance. Either way, I dont trust either Safari or Chrome with ANY privacy in ANY form.

If people are not taught that they have ANY rights, they may believe they dont have any to begin with, which is what some in power desperately want. Another major problem with not knowing anything about rights in general is that they also very well may not understand what a right is, and what its limits are. Such as many of our beliefs that there can be no such thing as a Right to Entitlement of any form because that infringes upon the equal rights of others. Without that basic concept, the idea of Entitlements grows in the minds of the mentally impoverished.

Thats fine. Neither my country or my house. I dont really care if people can speak spanish, but when doing business in the US, what I do care is people can speak english. If I went to Russia, I think they would have just as much of a legitimate call for me to speak russian as much as possible while I was there. That is only fair, right? Same goes with spanish...

I only know english. Not sure if programming languages count as languages since we dont exactly talk to each other in Javascript... Personally, I refuse to learn to speak spanish because of the outright insistence that I as an American need to learn the language of an invading country. If I had any intention of going to Mexico or another spanish speaking country, then I believe I would be the one that needed to learn spanish, but when they come here, shouldnt they learn our language?

We should so get rid of those pesky cable brake pedals and replace them with bluetooth electronic shit that breaks ten times as often and costs 10 times less and charge consumers MORE for these brakes! What could possibly go wrong?

There is nothing wrong with firefox. If it is running slow, then you have something else going on with your computer. #1 - VPN, as mentioned above, privateinternetaccess.com #2 - Ad Block the shit out of every fucking tracker. Do NOT use AdBlock Plus. It is now useless and allows ALL Google ads and tracking. Use this. #3 - Block as many ads as you can. Look for an Ad Blocking DNS Server. Advertisers seem to think that Privacy is the antithesis of Profits. #4 - Firefox #5 - Firefox Add Ons. Again, do NOT use Ad Block Plus. DO use things like NoScript and Request Policy. #6 - Firefox about:config - Look for Lockdown Mode, and tweak it so you get a balance between security and functionality #7 - Spybot Search and Destroy - Newer versions have gotten worse, but the Browser Hardening is still useful #8 - Anything Microsoft needs to go away

And now that everyone has computerized cars, oh, and they can be hacked, and they can now get viruses, care to take a guess how many viruses are transmitted via ADS? Yeah, just what we need, personalized ads, that compromise your safety while demanding that you conform to your new assigned identity as yet another useless eater.
