Listening to the government over and over and expecting to hear the truth this time? It's practically the definition of insanity.

The reason arrogant tinpot dictators don't get shot the moment they pose a threat is that some odd half the population is arrogant tinpot dictators.

Traditional vaccines are not unnatural, provided they aren't full of mercury and whatnot. It's just dead germs. They don't do your immune system any harm at all. One aspect of Teh Science™ is it completely conflates vaccines and immune systems. I have repeatedly pointed out online that vaccine or no vaccine, nutrition is still more than half the battle. This is the only place I haven't been innundated with trolls denying this obvious truth. Vitamin C, poultry soup, proper nutrition in general give the immune system the tools it needs to fight. These are the sheriff's guns, bullets, horse, lasso, and gives him the strength to track over many a rugged mile. All a vaccine is is a wanted poster. That's all. It only tells your immune system, when you see this, fight first and ask questions later. That's all. Your immune system must still be fit to fight, or the wanted poster accomplishes nothing. As for "vaccines" using graphene nanotubes as artificial spike "proteins" (carbon and more carbon is not a protein) and full of God knows what, on the other hand, who knows? The press who daily, hourly chant the "safe and effective" tagline don't know what's in there. The politicians trying to mandate this crap don't know what's in there. Could it harm the immune system? As long as we get the mushroom treatment, as long as we're in the dark and being fed manure, how can we know? Anything could be in those spiky nanotubes but a '58 Buick, and as we look around the earth at the long, long list of stuff that could fit in a nanotube, we find that several of them could indeed compromise an immune system. All I know is, what's in those artificial spike proteins isn't the cold, because the cold has real spike proteins. It doesn't require nanotubes to get into your cells. So how it helps your immune system identify the cold I don't know. And judging by how poorly they work, I'd say they don't help your immune system identify it at all.

Disclaimer: I'm not intending to start any debates or arguments with what I'm about to say. Just speaking from my experiences this past year in a stream of consciousness. Anyone who wants to quote or respond, feel free but this will be the first post that I will not come directly back to. The people who've been in charge of the LP, it seems to me after all of the drama this year, were the typical leftist-lite types. It's pretty effing clear they were not what many of us here would consider "true" libertarians. Their purge from party control and their responses to it seem to prove they are little tyrants. I joined the MC and all of that. But, I discovered the LP is peppered at every level with dbags and libertarians who don't care about anything other than being able to smoke weed and marry whoever they want. Before you say "yea, that's a huge part of what we are," I know. But these last 21 months (and counting) have led me down a different path, one that I feel is evolving from some of the inadequate and immature takes on society and life in general that many libertarians have been "championing." If any of you reading this still wants to join the LP, I'll definitely encourage you to join the Mises Caucus as the MC is basically your Ron Paul/Tom Woods types of folks. Otherwise, I think the LP has had a leftist bent that the MC is helping purge (this is a good thing), but based on my own experiences, there's still going to be those leftist elements sprinkled throughout and if that's not your cup of tea, you're gonna have an interesting time like I have.

I understand how they are supposed to work, I'm just trying to see what kind of opportunity there could be for a gun to fire by just manipulating the hammer.

If it's in proper working order, yes. I'm thinking Baldwin will soon be playing the "this was the armorer" card: He certainly set that "defense" up.

I tried to look at what it was... It was a Colt .45, but that can obviously mean lots of different models, even if it's period. Not my expertise beyond knowing there are many different ones. In order to release the hammer after it's reached half or full cock, you need to squeeze the trigger ?
