let's start with : is it valuable to store billions of coffee purchases on the blockchain? When do you need censorship resistant money? Why would you need to store Instagram images (insert all the alt coin usescases) on a blockchain using a paid token?

can you store gold or tulips in your head? Can you send them over the Internet? That's the intrinsic value of crypto... Bitcoin being the first and most secure... it will have a major role. Bitcoin is capped at 21 millions by math. Big bonus.

Bitcoin is not controlled by anyone in particular. Try it or any other crypto. You can create your own crypto if you want.

BTC and precious metals both offer alternatives to government monopolized fiat currency. https://twitter.com/PeterSchiff/status/905460823170134017?s=09

bro you are clueless. I sold a few BCH.. and bought some Monero. My BTC is not moving!!! I trust the BTC Devs more,,, way more than Roger Ver or any other fool supporting BCH. BCH is just an attack on Bitcoin. They are trying to disrupt it. But Bitcoin survives. It must. Otherwise crypto gold dies with it. See you when Bitcoin BTC is worth 50k in a few years. BTC value is censorship resistance. Big blocks weakens a lot this property. So many useful idiots fall for the pretty face Roger Ver arguments. The BTC Core Devs are a meritocracy group. Work on Bitcoin Code and you will become de facto a Core Dev.. NO single core dev support the wacky BCH roadmap because it would be suicidal to the core concepts of Bitcoin down the road. By the way.. If you want full privacy use Monero.

look my edits. for an example. Private keys depends on the base. In Bitcoin base is 256. So you have 2^256 possibilities. Yea there is a lot of speculation that the tech will become easier to use down the road. Anways right now Bitcoin use case is as a store of value and hedge. It replaces Gold. Only smart people need to use it. Many already do.

you also sound my dying grand mother. She would not use the Internet because government would spy on her emails. She wanted face to face contact. Crypto boom is like the dotcom boom. The old idiots just don't see it. What are you doing on a internet forum anyways? Internet forums crack me up too.

you remember the private key of a public address where you send coins to. At any time in the future you can launch a wallet, import the private key and access the funds located there. In Bitcoin all transactions are public on the ledger. https://blockchain.info/ is one of the many sites that allow you to browse the Bitcoin blockchain. Usually people don't remember the private key. They write it down on a piece of paper or use a software wallet. You can prove that you own a private key by signing any message with the private key. Anyone can verify that the signature and the message matche using your public key.

Watch the Video above. The goldbug turned crypto bug explains the use case. It is a new form of money. That's the use. A money that cannot be controlled by a central authority. A money that can be stored in your head. A money that that can be exchanged on the internet. You forgot the huge Darknet markets that were the first to use Bitcoin and still use it. Now they are also using Monero which is totally private. A cryptographic wonder. The IRS won't like Monero at all. Right now Bitcoin is a store of value. It works pretty well.

Just had a client liquidate his entire IRA to put 100% of the proceeds into Bitcoin. What are the odd this turns out to be a wise move? https://twitter.com/PeterSchiff/status/902629010324250633 Is the crash coming now that some goldbugs are going to capitulate?

the market disagrees today and the market disagreed yesterday and will disagree with you tomorrow. The Internet is also a NSA conspiracy to take control of our minds. /s I don't care what you goldbugs do. I just wrote this post to warn you of the coming explosion. Bitcoin and crypto are going to destroy Fiat. Here is a video of Andy Hoffman, goldbug who quit gold business after many years and now 100% on Bitcoin and crypto. Listen what he says. Amazing.

Schiff lost it because of Bitcoin and crypto currencies. I am a rationale male with a Masters in computer science. When he debates Bitcoin.. Schiff is a weasel. He is dishonest. At least Ron Paul had the integrity to acknowledge he didn't know enough and his first impressions were wrong. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the epitome of competing currencies. Schiff keeps spouting Bitcoin has no intrinsic value lol. Like McAffee said, Bitcoin intrisinc value is the network of people using it to store value and use it as a medium of exchange provided you are ready to pay for block space. I keep reading on Youtube and ZH that Bitcoin is what gold should have been. Well newsflash. Bitcoin is a new asset class that can be stored in your head. Take a minute to let that sink in. If you don't understand how that's even possible. You should do some serious research because you are missing on the biggest bull run EVER. As McAffee said. Cryptocurrency is as big of a leap as agriculture.
