I don't know whether Nye is an idiot or just a corrupt tool of the so-called "left", but his "science" isn't. Why is it that the people in this world who need the most to be severely beaten with iron bars rarely, if ever, are?

I chose "crusader" precisely due to the deeply negative connotations it now carries. Because of those connotations, brought to us by the sorts of people who make up these ranks of lowlives, applying a label that identifies them with that for which they hold such deep hatred seems just and mildly amusing. Being the bastard that I am, unwilling to tolerate that which is intolerable, I derive some droll pleasure from anything that causes such people to squirm, rage, and become more miserable than they normally tend to be, if that is even possible. Labeling people who on the whole hate anything remotely Christian with deeply disproportionate venom and bile is about the worst possible insult they can imagine. Therefore, it suits me to tag them in ways that stand to get them so hopping "offended" that every rotten quality and impulse attributable to them is augmented to the greatest degree possible. They need to be goaded to the greatest degree in order that they betray themselves with all manner of emotion-driven mistakes as we, the more rational and possessed of self-control, sit back and laugh as they pile-drive themselves into either self-destruction or into frenzied action that leads to the same result.

Trump has the ability to get the American left and the MSM to defend just about anything he speaks out against. It's quite remarkable. Remember when they were talking about how Kim Jong Un's sister was throwing "side-eye" and "shade" at Pence? Pushing the idea that she's some dignified independent yasss queen who ain't need no man? It was sickening. It's like a superpower he has.

I find the term "social justice warrior" objectionable in that to date, not a single individual identifying as such appears to come anywhere near to qualifying as a "warrior". Having trained in the warrior arts for forty seven years to date, I see no indication that the so-called "SJWs" have anything to do with warrior culture, but rather that the use of the term in the moniker is naught but an instance of auto-stroking. I must therefore suggest a more appropriate substitute term that, while still overly generous to the vast majority of those in question, nevertheless comes closer to a truer connotation without waxing openly hostile. It does, in fact, carry a note of sarcastic, condescending humor about it. May I introduce, the Social Justice Crusader. Given the less-than-flattering connotations that the notion of a crusade has accreted over the last several decades, it is my opinion that this term tracks far more tightly with the truth than does "warrior". In more modern vernaculars, "crusaders" have come to be associated with a great raft of negatively-valued traits including but not limited to narrow-mindedness, extreme parochialism, no consideration of the wishes of others, blindness to facts and reality, extreme self-absorption and -importance, a will to stupidity, and so on down a rather long and dreary litany of depressingly unattractive individual traits.

Guess it's a fond adios to this: It's all about violence... not to mention pimping one's own sister to save bacon. The Squat NAZIs must be having fits over it all... or the will once someone here forwards this to HQ. Lead Belly's spinning in his grave like a lathe.

There are several aspects to this situation worthy of note. For one thing, methinks it demonstrates the virtue of not "fixing" that which ain't broken. Had Spofity kept it's idiot-hole shut about "hate", the Squat NAZIs would almost certainly not have made their similarly stooge-like shrieking noises. It reminds me of when Bernie Goetz started yapping to his neighbor about how he shot them boyz on the subway. Learn to zip thy lip. For another, it is a private site. If they want to institute stupid policies, they are free to do so and while people do not have to like it, if they claim to be lovers of freedom and respecters of property rights, they should show respect for owner's prerogatives. If the market happens to send Spotify the way of Napster, well them's the breaks. Freedom can be a real bitch sometimes, its sharp edges cutting in all directions. As for consistency, this Thomas wench does not in fact have a valid point. A business is not morally obliged to be consistent, so that bit is right out. It seems clear that Spotify pooched on this in a significant way. I cannot say what prompted them to make so fully stupid a move, stirring feces best left on the bottom of the pot, lest the soup become befouled of flavor. But it's their right to run their business as well or as poorly as they might.

There are two distinct situations extant. Those who are already tenants have a contract. If the contract, i.e. their rental agreements, do not specify "no firearms", the property owner can then go suck it. Anyone entering a new agreement, whether for the first time or as a renewal, has the choice to respect the owner's rights or not live there. ETA: There is another situation: gun safes. Let us say you have a gun safe - large or small, doesn't matter. Landlords usually reserve some right to enter your premises, given proper notification and purpose. Suppose the landlord in question decides to install those hideous "low flow" shower heads in the effort to be "green". He enters your apartment and sees the safe, which proudly boasts its pedigree: Acme Impregnable Gun Safe Co. The landlord starts asking questions and I say he has sailed over a very bright and sharp line in doing so. "Do you have firearms in that safe?" Not your business. With all due respect, piss off. Change your stupid shower head and leave.

Well stated. Most of the walking carcasses have nothing, save their morbid avarice, shrinking timidity, a drive to do as little as possible if it resembles work or responsibility, and proudly boastful ignorance. They choose this of their free will. The only immediate pity there is that the sucking noise made by the walking dead drags those worthy of something better into the abyss as well. That is the only sadness I discern with the prospect of universal human genocide. As for the wad, I could not care less. Humans.

They closed the thread before I was able to respond to you, so I just wanted to say, I agree with all of your concerns about Rand Paul. I still think he's better than the other options, but he isn't my ideal. I'm most likely going to vote for him, but I don't blame people who won't. And if I was still going to live in NYS in 2016 (I'm moving to Virginia for college, which as we know is a swingy state) I would be less likely to vote for him. Even still, if the LP candidate is too good to pass up (Someone more like Harry Browne than Gary Johnson... the latter of which was more of a lesser of five evils) I would consider voting for them.
