And, again: Outlaw anyone (individual, corporate entity, etc) from owning more than one rental property. That means one single family house; one duplex or fourplex or one apartment complex. Whatever, it can only be one. This doesn't interfere with the right to own private property as anyone can still own their home, a second home, a third home, whatever. It simply limits the number of rental properties any entity can own. That would force the sale of millions of rental properties, immediately driving down property prices and, as a result, rents. Next, outlaw short term rentals (Airbnb, etc) in residential neighborhoods. If something like the above is not done, you're gonna see a huge increase in demand for government owned housing and rent control, as well as more a demand for more high density housing (Agenda 2030). Either keep rental property privately owned and within reach of renters or the renters will demand government come to their rescue when there's nothing affordable.

Cortland has acquired U.K.-based property management firm Qdime. With the company’s more than 33,000 units managed, the acquisition will make Cortland one of the U.K.’s top 10 property managers. Cortland entered the U.K. management and development market in 2017, with plans to provide more housing options for residents through build-to-rent, leasehold and other rental models. In 2019, Cortland acquired property management company LIV Group, adding some 10,000 units to its U.K. footprint. Qdime Group consists of seven brands that operate across the U.K., in cities such as Buckinghamshire, Bristol, Dorset, Hertfordshire, Kent, London and Wiltshire. Qdime’s Hazelvine, a property management service, represents the company’s biggest revenue source. Qdime founders Nigel Burnand and Robert Burnand will stay on as Cortland employees, filling the roles of managing director of Block Operations and director of Block Operations, respectively. Cortland plans to retain all existing Qdime staff, as well. Market growth Cortland currently has a 367-unit build-to-rent project underway in Watford, England that is expected to open in late 2021. The firm, which operates nearly 70,000 units in the U.S., has been expanding its market presence throughout 2021. The company manages close to 200 U.S. communities in several states, including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Arizona.

On May 22, 2024, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conducted an unannounced raid of national apartment operator Cortland Management as part of a ramped-up investigation into rental price fixing. The main target of this investigation is RealPage, a Texas-based company that provides suggestions for rent increases based on its YieldStar software. Rent increases suggested by the YieldStar algorithm are based not on demand but rather on data collected from landlords. And for one example, rents in Atlanta, GA, are going up despite higher vacancy rates. Could one company be the reason for soaring rent prices across the U.S.? And if rent increases for the vast majority of apartments across the country are based on that one company’s software recommendations rather than rental demand, what are the implications for shelter inflation measures?

Coal plants all over the country have been shut and/or destroyed because CO2 and UN Agenda 2030. A few years ago, when Texas had that deep freeze, there was a power crisis because Texas - of all places - had shut down coal plants and was using windmills which froze up. I live in Michigan where winter is serious and coal plants have been shut down and destroyed here, with the zero emissions by 2035 goal.

At the minion level, it is partisan. At the higher levels, they hate Trump because, although he's stupid and able to be manipulated, he's not inclined to cede US sovereignty to international bodies or go along with Agenda 2030. Pulling the US out of the Paris Climate Accord really pissed them off because that's both a money make for them and THE way to transfer wealth out of US. Trump knows the US can't run on windmills and solar panels and is into fossil fuels. That's in direct opposition to Agenda 2030 and sending us into the stone age which is their goal.

Yes, I know he lies which is why I didn't further engage on that and tried, again, to get him to say who he does support, which we'll never receive an answer about. I'm fine with criticism of Trump and anyone saying they can't vote for him but, as I mentioned, critical theory is a non starter and that's all this appears to be.

BLM & Antifa rioted all summer of 2020. Left wing prosecutors, mayors, governors, lawyers organizations, all covered for them. The fraudulently raked in hundreds of millions of dollars which went straight into the pockets of a few and nobody has been prosecuted. Prior to that, there were numerous violent attacks at speaking engagements on campuses. No prosecutions. For several years violent criminals have been let go without being prosecuted. January 6th rioters? Over 1000 in jail or prison. Old lady abortion protesters, in jail. How can you can not see exactly where the establishment is?

So, what is your solution? Do you have anything in mind as far voting, candidates? And, afaik, I don't recall any media supporting any kind of draw down or outright withdrawal from Syria. But, never mind that and tell me if you plan to vote, for whom or who you'd like to see that isn't running and making you decide not to vote, at all. Let's move beyond the critical theory.

I don't get good vibes from him but know nothing about his motives or he's working for some other interest. It's always possible that he just wants to be relevant and get attention. Sometimes it's that simple. There's an awful lot of that with the internet. Does he even have a career? I know Gonzalo Lira was really pissed when spread the rumor he'd been executed and so was I. Ritter seemed hungry for a scoop about someone a lot of people were worried about and I believe he just made it up.

I don't think Hezbollah wants any Hamas people in Lebanon. The former is Shia and the latter is Sunni and affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Any alliance, in the present, is my enemy's enemy convenience. I saw on the news, today, that Hezbollah fired a bunch of rockets at norther Israel and it started wildfires. Really beautiful country (geography) around there. So terribly sad. I don't know how any of he parties comes out of this with any kind of a win. I'm generally anti Israel (but also anti Islam) and even I'm beginning to feel sorry for them. All of those people with loved ones being held hostage and no end in sight. Of course, Gaza, goes without saying - atrocity. I think from Turkey around to the northern coast of Africa is probably one of the beautiful spots on the entire planet and it's all a disaster. The Daily Mail had an article about several European countries planning out corridors for NATO to move into Ukraine if Russia attacks them. I don't believe Russia would ever do that but it's a concern that these war mongering fuckers will do something to provoke it. You'd think that Europe, having been ground zero in two world wars, would not want to do this again. I guess it's a case of how a couple of generations after something huge, people "forget". FFS, don't they watch war documentaries? It astounds me how chomping at the bit they are.

“You said you represent science. Do you represent science? Mr. Fauci? Yes or no. Yes or no,” the congresswoman said as Fauci responded that it was not a yes or no answer. “I don’t think it is,” Fauci said, prompting Greene to say, “We’ll take that as a you don’t know what you represent.” “As director of the NIH, you did sign off on these so-called scientific experiments. And as a dog lover, I want to tell you this is disgusting and evil, what you signed off on,” she said, holding up a picture of the experiment uncovered by White Coat Waste Project (WCW), which involved the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), directed by Fauci, granting a university $424,455 in taxpayer dollars to do a lymphatic filariasis vaccine efficacy trial on dogs between September 16, 2020 and January 15, 2022. WCW described the tests as “unnecessary,” and they involved “injecting the puppies with an experimental drug and intentionally infesting them with flies that carry a disease-causing parasite before euthanizing them,” Breitbart News detailed at the time. “And these experiments that happened to beagles were paid for by the American taxpayer. And I want you to know, Americans don’t pay their taxes for animals to be tortured like this. So the type of science that you are representing, Mr. Fauci, is abhorrent, and it needs to stop,” she said, also asserting that Fauci represents “the type of science where you confess that you made up the COVID rules, including six-feet social distancing and masking of children.”

I'd say you're on right track about what the enemy will try to pull. I didn't follow the trial because I am so burned out on this shitshow. I actually was following a real trial (verdict came down the same day, in fact) and, my God, what a difference seeing all constitutional rights protected and real evidence of real crimes required. Anyway, I don't know about the Trump (defense) witness list. I just know that Merchan would not allow the former head of the FEC to testify to the fact that it would have been illegal for Trump to have claimed the Stormy Daniels money as a campaign expense (which Trump did not do but the state insisted he should have).

The handful of decent Republicans need to speak as straightforwardly as that - about a LOT of things. I still feel like there's too much tip toeing around what's going on, except for with Massie and Marg. Just fucking start saying it! They want him dead, they want you enslaved, they hate your guts, etc, and will do ANYTHING to get and keep more power.

Okay, just went to GLP and saw this: US State Department forced Scott Ritter off plane headed to Russia and confiscated his passport “As I was boarding my flight out of New York I was pulled aside by three CBP officers, who seized my passport. When asked why, they said orders of the State Department. No further information was provided. My bags were removed from the flight, and I was escorted out of the airport,” the former US Marine intelligence officer told Sputnik. Ritter was slated to participate in the annual St.Petersburg International Economic Forum as a guest speaker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzMJVj60Hqc

They closed the thread before I was able to respond to you, so I just wanted to say, I agree with all of your concerns about Rand Paul. I still think he's better than the other options, but he isn't my ideal. I'm most likely going to vote for him, but I don't blame people who won't. And if I was still going to live in NYS in 2016 (I'm moving to Virginia for college, which as we know is a swingy state) I would be less likely to vote for him. Even still, if the LP candidate is too good to pass up (Someone more like Harry Browne than Gary Johnson... the latter of which was more of a lesser of five evils) I would consider voting for them.
