There needs to be a true study of power in the mold of Machiavelli, Pareto, Mosca, Burnham, and Yarvin/Moldbug. The fundamental problem with the right is that they're myopically focused on what power should look like, instead of what it does look like. The irony here is that it's true about pretty much the entirety of the right, from the most terminally online Q believer, who is sure that the white hats will spring the plan any time now, to the moderate constitutionalist who thinks all you have to do to understand the US is read the document. There's a love of construction on the right, and in a sense that's inevitable. There is on the left too, but the actually effective leftists are willing to jettison what were closely held values when it's necessary. Their constructions have shown a remarkable antifragility and ability to morph within the pseudo-Darwinian selection pressures of discourse. The right's constructions haven't. In the long run, what's happened over the past couple of months might be a good thing for the right. Difficult, tremendously so, even, but good. At least, eventually.

I've had an idea kicking around in my head going on nearly thirty years, that of the formal algebraic definition and subsequent proof of the concept of "equality" as it applies to the interrelationships between individual human beings. The inauguration of the frauds Biden and Harris have lead to my being so rudely awakened at 4 AM by my nagging brain which so abruptly and forcefully shouted at my unconscious self that the time for this is suddenly upon us. Years ago I formulated the Canon of Proper Human Relations, which deals directly with the idea of what it means in point of objective fact for people to be "equal". It is, however, a very informal specification, lacking any formal proof of validity, relying instead on its intuitive obviousness for its power. While the underlying logic is valid, so far as I am able to tell, because of its lack of mathematical formalilty and therefore the absence of a formal proof of said validity, it can be attacked by opponents with success. Humans, being what we tend, are readily swayed with the most inanely fallacious reasonings imaginable. Truly I say that the effectiveness of the most rank idiocies that accord with the innermost desires of given individuals that lay contrary to truths they for which they do not care, has been almost universally staggering. The current state of the so-called "left" is all the example anyone should need to prove with blunt and brutal force the dolorous extent and manner of this truth. The production of a mathematically rigorous definition, using a property-oriented algebraic spefication language such as ASL, SPECTRE, and so forth, plus the formal proof of the definition's validity, could go a very long way toward sealing off the invalid, yet emotionally compelling avenues of denial that people use to deny truths they find inconvenient or otherwise objectionable. The motivations for such corruptions of thought, opinion, and expression may be manifold, but they are nonetheless irrelevant, constituting noise in the stream of valid logic that in this case would lead humanity to a deep truth upon which all may rely as a vital cognitive anchor. Staunching the flow of politically motivated stupidity could in theory provide immense benefit to humanity and I will assert with non-equivocation that a vast plirality of our outward corruptions of thought and opinion on such maters stems from the various incorrect notions that people hold regarding the idea of "equality".

I love your CS Lewis quote and, speaking of him, in the Screwtape Letters it addresses how most evil is petty evil - like those snitches who kept the Gestapo so bogged down.

I'm not that Suzi3D that made the twitter thread but, yeah, she did a great job of breaking it down. Unfortunate all of this info didn't make the rounds in time to save the Qtards. Then again, they believed some scruffy looking guy who was at several Trump rallies was JFK Jr in disguise so they probably wouldn't have listened anyway.

I don't recall when I first saw stuff about Q but, I think, it was when it first appeared on 4chan (not 8chan). I read some of the posts and knew right away it was a psyop. My impression was it was Zionist/intel agency generated. Had to have been something like the "free Iran" stuff above or something pro Israel. Whatever it was, it was SOOOOOOO obvious. I was floored at the number of people that not only fell for it but became rabid cultists. That hopium is strong stuff, I guess, but then I'm a cynic. And, btw, a game like that was also played here, back in '08, with some username of "Good Tidings" who spun some BS about a billionaire who was going to back Ron Paul. Quite a few glommed onto that nonsense.

It would be awesome if freedom oriented people were located in one part of the country and the commies in another but the commies are all over the place. How can you have secession of a state when there are pro freedom people and commie Satanists in that same state? Then the war will be in that state.

I'm too old to fight. If my husband and I sold everything, maybe we could escape but that's about it. He's not inclined, though, and escape to where, anyway? The entire planet is doing the COVID theater lie which is bigger than the destruction of the United States. I feel like we're all trapped behind the Berlin wall.

Inside the ‘Q Group,’ the Directorate Hunting Down Edward Snowden The top-secret ‘Q Group’ has been chasing Edward Snowden since he disappeared in May. Eli Lake on the intel community’s internal police—and why the agency is in ‘complete freakout mode.’ The people who began chasing Snowden work for the Associate Directorate for Security and Counterintelligence, according to former U.S. intelligence officers who spoke on condition of anonymity. The directorate, sometimes known as “the Q Group,” is continuing to track Snowden now that he’s outed himself as The Guardian’s source, according to the intelligence officers. The security and counterintelligence directorate serves as the NSA’s internal police force, in effect watching the agency’s watchers for behavior that could pose an intelligence risk. https://www.thedailybeast.com/inside-the-q-group-the-directorate-hunting-down-edward-snowden

"Operation Trust" was a Bolshevik counterintelligence operation run from 1921 to 1926 aimed at neutralizing opposition by creating the false impression that a powerful group of military leaders had organized to stop the communists' takeover. Here's an except on the "Trust" operation from pages 13-14 of Soviet defector Anatoliy Golitsyn's book, "New Lies for Old": The similarities with the Q-Anon "Trust The Plan™" psy-op are remarkable. One of the more disturbing aspects of the "Qanon" online Trump base pacification hoax is that while it claims to be fighting the "deep state" (permanent security complex) it promotes the rendition of Edward Snowden and CIA regime change in Iran. pic.twitter.com/WG4jfmvEeG — WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) December 13, 2018

Spot on. I cannot believe that anyone would take the idea of a new party seriously. Besides political parties being a huge problem, Rome has fallen. The barbarians are inside the gates and it's too late. The US, is (long) dead. Whatever this place turns into will be something different.

You nailed it, right there. If not out of decency and to save Julian's very life, you'd think Trump would pardon him just as a huge FU to Hillary Clinton, who despises Assange but nope. Too damn stupid to even figure that out. I do not care what happens to Trump.

I'm skeptical that a complete party collapse like the Whigs of old is even possible in today's day and age. After Perot, the establishment made it intentionally far more difficult to generate momentum for a third party. That can change, and there is certainly a massive incongruity between the GOP and their base, but it's an uphill battle, especially with the blacklisting.

There are good things about Trump. But he simple does not possess the kind of courage his most ardent supporters think he does. He was never going to pardon Assange. He was never the man the movement he helmed needed him to be.

Consider the psywar aspect of this. Theye can make up any lie they please, say it's based on "intelligence", and break out the troops. Who is going to question it? Even so, what good is it? Consider all the damning evidence that has been released, and yet nothing has been done about a whit of it. THAT is how low a pass to which we have come. The water's aboil and we frogs remain idle. This serves at least two ends. The first runs along the lines of "the medium is the message" - in this case, "look what we can do". Secondly, it serves as an acclimation tactic. "Well... urm.... <BRAP> <BRAP> <BRAP>... there are threats... we've moved in troops... Next big political event, do the same, to fewer raised eyebrows and questions. Before you know it, you have troops lodging in your fucking house and if you dare say boo, you are whisked away, the sad victim of authority defiance syndrome, or whatever the hell that call it in the hallowed DSM V. Slowly, steadily, they make ever deeper incursions into your mind. Slowly, steadily, you surrender your rights and come to accept their insanity as normal.

My strong suspicion is that the moment Biden is sworn in, Theye will go into full swing. It seems to me that Theye have to move quickly for several reasons. Firstly, strike while the iron is hot - an age old precept - and the iron is at bright, sparking heat. Secondly, if Theye do not take the initiative out of the gate, every moment they waste opens the door further to the possibility, however remote, that enough Americans will get wise and start to move in strongly contrariwise strokes. Theye are THIS close to getting what they want - the final wracking of America. In point of reality, Theye probably don't have to move with such dispatch because so far as I can see, the so-called "real" Americans, aren't. Chances are we will do nothing of substance to stop them, but were I in the position of the Democrats, I would not assume this. I would assume that our demise was imminent and that we needed to strike now and with complete authority before a critical mass has the opportunity to come to some sense. World's about to become interesting.

And this, ladies and gents, is why the left is winning and is just this side of closing the deal for good. No matter what, they suck each others' dicks. The value of cohesion is difficult to overstate. The so-called "liberty movement" doesn't even rate as a joke. Talk is all they do, and they don't even stand by each other, but pick and bitch and insult each other, usually on points of stupid purity. And so here we stand, four days from the end of life as we knew it, the changes all for the worse. Good job. We should all be very proud of ourselves, especially when the left starts in on us on 1/21... if they even wait that long.

You didn't stop in at our place? I'm hurt. What amazes me on a most personal level is my good friend Marshall. I've known him 30 years now. He is an agricultural engineer, grain farmer, 2A defender, a fellow blacksmith, and for Pete's sake he's a Jew. Yet he listens to NPR as if it were religion and anything they say is truth. He hates Trump with a passion, which is fine with me were it well reasoned... though a bit inconsistent when I consider how many times he has gone on almost in hippie style about how hatred is not a good thing. He will always be my friend, but I most sadly feel something of a gulf forming between us, and all because of this Trump nonsense and people's inability or unwillingness to maintain a rational perspective.

Well, this is either the time to toss up the hands and be happier, or the time when happiness has become irrelevant. And to be very frank, I cannot tell which it is, so you may well have chosen wisely. As for me, my "give a shits" are at a fraction of one. Biden will be sworn in and Theye are going to go full tilt against anyone not on their knees.

Most definitely. Elections are part of the national mythology. "Democratic will" is the closest we get to any kind of modern political formula, outside of the specter of The Constitution. They need the talismanic simulacra to legitimize their narratives. The default assumption going forward should be that these elections are all rigged.

They closed the thread before I was able to respond to you, so I just wanted to say, I agree with all of your concerns about Rand Paul. I still think he's better than the other options, but he isn't my ideal. I'm most likely going to vote for him, but I don't blame people who won't. And if I was still going to live in NYS in 2016 (I'm moving to Virginia for college, which as we know is a swingy state) I would be less likely to vote for him. Even still, if the LP candidate is too good to pass up (Someone more like Harry Browne than Gary Johnson... the latter of which was more of a lesser of five evils) I would consider voting for them.
