How quickly people forget that this was the general behavioral timbre that got Bernie Goetz on page one. This was the reason I escaped NYC. I was carrying illegally daily, was 100% in control of myself, meaning I would have simply ignored that loudmouth, but would not have hesitated for a second to send that boy to potter's field, had he violated my space. And the older I get, the less tolerant of this sort of thing I have become.

Holy crap... where to begin. "People of color" is one of the most irritatingly stupid, and blatantly race-biased terms the left has ever vomited forth onto the world of men, thereby befouling it. It is nauseatingly amusing to note the fecklessly ham-fistedness of not only the appellation, but of the ways in which it tends to be used by Regressives, who are so intellectually and morally stunted, they are unable/unwilling to see it. On the one hand, such people tend to go on about how they "trust the science", as if they would recognize science as it drove the freight train running them over, while in the same breath they refer to "people of color", the implication being that "white" people are colorless, when in point of fact and in accord with hard scientifically established fact, the white are the most colorful of all people. I find such wildly ignorant and willful moral deficiency intolerable. Let us return as a society to shunning and shaming... not that the decayed Regressives would have the least sense to be ashamed of themselves for any reason, save that they would return to reason and moral soundness. In a better world, such people would be few and far between.

Give it the Pfizer and Moderna "vaccines". That'd take care of it.

A question that arises is this: why are Citigroup and "other big banks" bailing out First Republic? Do they own shares? WILL they own shares as a condition of the salvation? Could they be trying to forestall Congressional action that might cause them great discomfort? Could they be trying to keep Congress from investigations that might send people to prison or shake public confidence? Generally speaking, banking has not proven itself the sort of business a rational adult would label as "altruistic", so what's the angle here? I doubt this is coming out of the goodness of their hearts.

I should add this, for honesty's sake: when Sands was going through that for which he is mostly remembered, I had no idea he was a Marxist. I was about 23 at the time and had the media given a fuller report, I cannot say with honest candor that I would have held the same opinion of him. Communists/socialists/leftists/otherformsoftyrannicalvermin were perhaps the major reason for my life being what it had been at the time. They'd murdered much of my family in the ways in which we are most of us well familiar in the days between 1914 and 1946. Had I known about his leanings, it may have mitigated my respect for his courage, though I cannot say it is so with certainty. Even in those days I endeavored to give credit where due, even to people I'd have otherwise seen tossed into a woodchipper, and there were several such stellar characters whose acts and/or openly expressed intentions for humanity or some subset thereof, merited such regard. Holding uniformly equitable habits of regard for all is not an easy task. Giving due credit to an enemy can be challenging, particularly if you have not been trained to treat them as honored guests. I am grateful for having been so trained. Being the better man is always the right choice.

I have explained that more than once here, but it is very possible you have never seen it. Theye/Themme/Theire: monikers referring to those in real material power in the human world. That is an error. Give credit where due. If a marxist saved your child's life, would you curse him because he was a marxist? I'm not supporting anyone. I am remembering someone with the courage to starve himself to death. I'd do as much even for a filthy Marxist. I predict that if indeed he is to be arrested on Tuesday, the perpetrators have planned the drama out for maximum effect. He will be cuffed, frog-marched to booking, then to jail, and it will all be done with every tv camera on the planet recording it. My question is, what will his SS detail do? What are they required to do? I cannot imagine they will allow him to be left unprotected in police custody because if those boys are separated from Trump, I'd almost bet money I don't have that he won't survive the event. If Trump's accusations are true and his stated intentions are true, the swamp creatures have an impossibly strong incentive to get him alone so they can administer whatever poison. Could this actually help in some unintended fashion? With humans one can never be too certain. Given the perfectly consistent results of the past 60+ years, I find it something of astonishing to observe that there is so much as a single organically intact human being in America who has yet to dope out the truth there. Prior to LBJ's Great Society (now there's some ironic label-humor for you), black folks were doing pretty good. Families were intact and piecemeal they were making strides away from the dolorous apartheid that was our beloved Jimmy Crow. Since then it has been the downward death spiral into superficiality, weak blown up egos, and race hatred for them, the latter having been nearly extinguished until that cancer called "Obama" got "his people" all worked up with his false claims. What I find amusing, if a bit sad, is that this new and ever so false praise of black people in every media source imaginable, is pumping black people up with all manner of hot air. I've seen, for example, this Wakanda nonsense. Nothing so cruel as telling a homely girl that she is a raving beauty. Back ca. 1990 I wrote a book that I never published. It was a wake up call to black people in that it was a total confabulation about a hidden black society that was outwardly no different from the rest of black African cultures, but was inwardly highly advanced. I admit that part of my motivation had that hint of said cruelty to it, but the greater point of my having written it was to have had it act as the armature of an experiment. I was curious to see whether black people, taken statistically, would pull their heads out of their asses, inspired by my story, and choose to stop playing the victim or the ghetto gangster and make all good for themselves aboard the same boat in which the rest of us find ourselves. It was quite a tale, but in the end I decided against it as my reality-fueled skepticism was stronger than my hope. I was in no mood to have to look over my shoulder for the rest of my life after letting everyone in on the punchline. All this utter nonsense suggesting that the world we know, the technologies and philosophies, were stolen from black Africans, presumably in pander to that very audience, is cruelty of the highest order. I see this going nowhere good, ever.

Such results are the reason even organizations such as mises and RPI lose credibility with me. We live in the age of computers, and this isn't 1950. Many tihngs can be easily automated, such as acknowledgement notes letting a sender of email or some other message type know that they'd received the missive, and can specify whether and how and perhaps even when a response might be forthcoming. So far as I am concerned, there is no valid justification for letting anyone's attempt to make contact seem as if it has dropped into the bit-bucket. It is bad form, very unprofessional, ill-mannered, and leaves you looking like an organization unworthy of one's time and interest. It is, in a word, inexcusable. Boo-hiss.

How could they not be? On Monday I borrow @0% from fed, lend to Harry at 4% with real inflation at 2%. On Tuesday, inflation is 15%, and I'm now getting clobbered at a 13% real loss. Multiply this by millions of loans and my ass no longer belongs to me.

I ask this perhaps stupid question because I don't watch news: is anyone of any impact calling for Fauci's head? So far as I am concerned he should be rendered to Gitmo and tortured wildly until he gives it all up, then forced to testify in trials against those who pull his strings, leading to their convictions and executions, an then himself executed by hanging by hooded men, on Gitmo, his body left to the sharks. My impulse is to bring his entire family to ruin, but I'm working diligently to keep my yap shut on that point since I really don't want to turn into the thing I hate, and I use "hate" advisedly here. Time is here for Amendment XXVIII. ETA: Does it matter whose money paid for the research, other than that we know whose necks to stretch? Fauci was behind it. He cannot deny at this point since the evidence trail is damning.
