I don't post the Arabic script for fun, you can copy and paste the Arabic script of anything I posted and it will take you directly to the source. Is your argument that you don't trust what I'm saying because it doesn't have a source next to it? Is that why you're not addressing what I said? For example, the hadith about 'ghayr mubri7' being likened to a twig or miswak, it's found easily in Tafsir at-Tabari 9386 - حدثنا المثنى قال حدثنا إسحاق قال حدثنا ابن عيينة عن ابن جريج عن عطاء قال قلت لابن عباس : ما الضرب غير المبرح ؟ قال السواك وشبهه يضربها به . http://library.islamweb.net/newlibrary/display_book.php?idfrom=1249&idto=1249&bk_no=50&ID=1256 Hadith about spending in the way of good even if it's just lifting food into your wive's mouth, Bukhari: 56 حدثنا الحكم بن نافع قال أخبرنا شعيب عن الزهري قال حدثني عامر بن سعد عن سعد بن أبي وقاص أنه أخبره أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إنك لن تنفق نفقة تبتغي بها وجه الله إلا أجرت عليها حتى ما تجعل في فم امرأتك http://library.islamweb.net/newlibrary/display_book.php?bk_no=52&ID=4&idfrom=13&idto=110&bookid=52&startno=47

He's appointed some pro life judges but that hasn't stopped him from signing a budget that funds Planned Parenthood. He's not consistent, appointing some judges who happen to be pro gun doesn't mean that he is even thinking about guns, let alone in a principled way.

Now if only the machines counting the votes can be trusted. Maybe they need the machine to issue a receipt to the voter as verification of how it counted the votes.

No indeed. He's not being secret about it at all. This thinking right here is the problem. If Trump does 10 bad things and 10 good things, some of you will say that proves he's 100% on our side. Others will say he's 100% against us. The reality is a person's complete record speaks for itself, the good the bad and the ugly . Trump calling for gun control is exactly as bad as when Obama does it. When Trump appoints a good judge that is good but it doesn't negate every bad decision he makes.

If Trump doesn't succeed in banning anything then he and Obama will be about tied since they both wanted gun control. The question is if Trump pulls it off.

I bow to your correction. Swordsmyth isn't a socialist, but a fascist. The question of what would come out of an anarchist society is an interesting one, but not a wholly answerable one. When your house is on fire and you put out the fire, what do you replace it with? Anarchy would provide for the growth of a lot of movements. That is the point. Bad ideas can only ever be exposed by letting those who want them to engage in them and let the failure happen. Likewise, good ideas can only prosper when given the opportunity to be advanced by all willing to do so without restriction. Good ideas will spread as bad ideas fail. And the only people that will be hurt by the failure of those ideas are those who voluntarily embrace them. Th specter of evil Communists taking over is a silly one though. Communism has only ever prospered or survived (prospered is stretching it) where the State has existed. Outside of the State, socialist experiments have only lasted a few decades at most in small communes. With the State though, that is how you get North Korea, Maoist China, the USSR, Communist Cuba, and Socialist Venezuela. Communism and the State go hand in hand. Without the State it shrinks into insignificance or fails completely.

You do not seem to understand what the word "government" means. Government merely means that society is organized by some set of rules that governs a community. There are many types of governments. Everything from your kid's PTA to the President of the United States count as governments. But not all governments are States. The State, which you confuse as a synonym for government, is a form of government where those with authority in the community rule through a monopoly on violence. Those who refuse to obey its edicts, no matter how unjust, are met with brutality and are beaten, extorted, and/or caged until they are forced to submit to the orders of the State. Anarchy, on the other hand, is a form of government based voluntary organization. It is the acknowledgement that people can and do organize themselves voluntarily, in peaceful ways, according to rules which they agree to, without the need for violence. Every church you have ever been a member of is a great example of an anarchist organization. The people voluntarily come together, agree to what rules they will abide by, how those rules will be enforced, and what will be expected of the members of the society. The LDS Church, whether Mormons understand it or not, are participating in an anarchist society. And Mormon ideals about establishing Zion as a place independent from worldly governments and based upon the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the goal of establishing an anarchist city. So you are correct when you say that governments are part of God's plan. But that says nothing about the validity of the State. Indeed, if you read 1 Samuel 8, you'll discover than when Israel, which existed as a tribal anarchy in the Book of Judges, demanded a centralized state in the form of a king, God denounced the idea as a rejection of His rule for the rule of man, warning the people that a king would tax everything they had. They still demanded one anyone. So God allowed them to have one, because they rejected Him for the State. Now ignoring the fact that the State is immoral on the face of it, as it is always immoral to coerce others into obeying your agenda through violence, the question becomes which better allows a man to serve God, the State -a government based upon the violent compulsion of everyone subject to it to the whims of those in power and extorts the time and wealth of the people through fines and taxation, often compelling them to take part in mass violence such as in immoral wars- or Anarchy -the form of government that allows every man their freedom of conscience and complete control over their self and property to do with their self and their property how they so choose?

What petty arrogance you have. Fun fact Swordsmyth, I don't care about you. You've proven yourself so divorced from historical reality or textual understanding that I place your opinion about on the level I do of the kid who eats paste in grade school. Not only was I NOT thinking about you I didn't even know you had replied to me in any way until after the fact. I saw no point in making two posts that I thought would be side by side. That you are so quick to run off at the mouth is not my problem.

You mean, rushed over and continued to film the person writhing in pain on the street while demanding the other friend do something? Practically the Good Samaritan that is. Commie? HAHAHAHAHAHA! How delightful. The violent Socialist who believes in State ownership of property and collectivist Marxist identity politics in the form of State immigration regulation and white identity politics accuses me, the anarcho-capitalist of being a Communist. Either I'm an Anarchist or a Communist. I cannot be both. Just proves you wouldn't know what the free market wa sif it bit you on the butt.

I love, love, LOVE it when you quote Mormon scripture. You know why? You're so ignorant of it that you always quote portions that defeat your own argument, and make a total ass of yourself. And you've done it again. For example, read D&C 134:5, part of the long text you quoted. The scriptures clearly teach that you are only bound to uphold or obey any government insomuch as it protects the inherent and inalienable rights of the the individual. What then of a government that violates the law? You are not bound to either sustain or obey it.

No, honestly, I don't recall them ever being called "sedans" but simply "squires" with levels of upgraded trim and features. Ah, that's what's had me flummoxed. I was under the impression that Ford had dropped the Galaxy line by 1972. I forgot they still made them and the grille was almost exactly the same as the LTD grille.

If your Christianity delights in seeing someone hurt then you aren't a Christian. The Communist atheists have a cloak of ignorance to cover the multitude of their sins. But those who claim to have heard the word of Christ spoken to them have no such cloak and no such excuse for why they celebrate the pain and suffering of others, an act antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its commandment to love your enemy, to serve them who persecute you, and to do good to those who hate you.

You can't have a logical discussion with Swordsmyth to begin with. So needling and trolling is about the only way to go. You might as well have some fun because logic and fact never work. And you're right, what you can and cannot love at the same time aren't part of the original point., though I would say the issue isn't entirely tangential. The original videos apparently contain people conflating Nationalism and Christianity with their "Patriot Prayer" March For Jesus and the celebration of someone being possibly grievously hurt for the simple act of saying something they didn't like. Their supposed Christianity takes a back seat to their nationalism and the cheer they let loose seeing a car hit their brother. I think the original comic I posted comments on that urge quite well.

The impulse to worship and adore is strong in humanity. Whether it is a person, a thing, an organization, or even an idea, the inclination is towards worship and obedience. People do for the State what they would never do for God, sometimes things quite horrendous, and feel justified in doing it. I would imagine an atheist would much prefer the former to the latter. God doesn't talk that much (to most anyway) and no one can seem to agree on what God has already said. Thus churches tend to be divided and weakened. The State God issues tens of thousands new commandments (laws) every year which it backs up with overwhelming brutality and violence.
