Proverbs 12-8-14 (KJV) 8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. 9 He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread. 10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. 11 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.

I posted 4 studies (in addition to the video that went over 9 different studies) so I don't know which one you're talking about. But it was probably about red meat, so I'm not sure why you felt the need to mention that it defended dairy and fish. If anything, that shows that it wasn't a biased study conducted by vegans. Anyway, we'll have to agree to disagree. I don't feel like going on and on with this debate. The Keto thing will die out eventually, because it's not sustainable (unless it's vegan Keto, which is a thing) and the long-term effects are not going to be pretty… Not unless one is eating a lot of plant-based foods with it, instead of primarily animal products. And the future is vegan. :) It's growing like crazy, plus it is prophesied.

You didn't link to the study. You linked to a biased article about the study. The study is here. It doesn't say what you or the article writer want it to say. Among other things, it defends dairy and non-beef fleshmeat (esp. fish) Notice also the participant choice and method are flawed: I suggest finding something better as evidence. ~hugs~

Subway once served decent food. In the last ten or more years they cut every corner they could and served crap. The fact that they stayed in business so long is a testament to habitual behavior and how long you can live off a formerly good name.

Yes my family would survive, we'd be okay as would the vast majority of rural people. It's not my place to determine who's "soft" or who should perish but do yourself a favor and give the subject more than a fleeting thought.

Alexa? Bluetooth enabled toilets, refridge,washer/drier, phones that can be used as streaming devices unknown to the owner.... None of this is new news. Now let's talk about the modern man's inability to think critically or analytically when compared to his non-techie ancestors.... Maybe the physical effects of technology on man.......

I posted studies, I wasn't the one who said "My roommate did this or that" or "My brother did this or that…" So I'm not sure what you're talking about unless you're referring to my statement that there are millions of vegans who are not fat? First of all, that was in response to his anecdote. You're twisting things around. Secondly, there are plenty of studies that back that up, so that's not exactly an anecdote, and what is dishonest is to falsely accuse me. And yes, I know that fats can include vegetarian sources. That doesn't change anything I said earlier, because I was talking specifically about animal fats and animal products, and there are tons of studies that back that up. It's just that keto cheerleaders like him choose to believe studies that promote keto....And it is a well-known fact that anything that promotes meat and dairy is almost always funded by the meat and dairy industries.

Hey, do you eat peanuts? They're technically legumes, ya know. I switched to tree nuts like almonds and such after looking into them and how they work in the body.

Very dishonest of you. You gave an anecdote yourself and dannnno returned the favor. As has been explained to you before, flesh meats don't cause cardiovascular disease. Big agra tried that fear campaign long ago when trying to sell their stuff(especially grain and refined products), even though the science isn't there to support a correlation between flesh meat consumption and CV disease. Here's the keto food pyramid generally: "fats" can include vegetarian sources like avacado and olive oil. ETA: oops, danno beat me to the pyramid. :o

Technology + Big-Gov = real problems for anyone who opposes Big-Gov... Any device that can be accessed can be used against you, maybe not in a "court of law" but certainly to help develop admissible evidence. See the countless threads about 7,243 felonies per day just in case you consider yourself free from such behavior...

Again, your anecdotes don't apply to millions of others. Like I told you, check back with me in 20 years when you have cardiovascular disease or atherosclerosis from years of eating lots of greasy fat and lard and far too many corpses and not enough healthy God-given foods like veggies, fruits, legumes, etc. We're going to have to agree to disagree. Plant-based is far healthier than eating death… and we haven't talked about the numerous other reasons why it's better. For me, the health aspect was not even my reason for going plant-based, it was just an added bonus.

Technology doesn't end with "an account or email address".... Kind of disingenuous don't you think? As to your query, yes a person could be considered tethered to a house, a car not so much as it's mobile and disposable although cars of today are rife with tethering technology....

There are tons of vegans on a high carb diet who are either thin, normal weight or athletic… but not fat. It's silly to take your one example of your roommate and apply that to everyone. Of course common sense dictates that it's best to have a variety of healthy plant-based foods (as opposed to just one thing). But this anti-carb nonsense that is popular because of the trendiness of keto is downright dumb.
