It's healthy if you're a baby cow. Just like human breast milk is healthy for a baby. But contrary to what we've been indoctrinated to believe, there is absolutely no need to drink cow breastmilk, and tons of reasons not to. Any nutrients that you want to get from it, you can get in other sources, minus the hormones, antibiotics, as well as components that increase the risk of certain types of cancer. Plus, it causes inflammation, phlegm, and for a lot of people, other health issues. For crying out loud, something like 75% of the worlds population cannot drink milk. If it truly was a healthy food for humans, then do you really think that 3/4ths of the worlds population wouldn't be able to consume it? Plus, every time you drink milk you are supporting taking a calf away from his mother. I know that most of you guys don't care about that, but it needs to be said. You support stealing a baby and the milk that was supposed to be for that baby, which causes continual distress and to both the mother and the calf. And that's just the beginning of it, the cruelty continues from that point on. Since you don't need it for your health, and since it absolutely is not as healthy as we've been told, quite the opposite… And since with every glass of milk you are supporting cruelty, why do it? Why do it when there are alternatives that are healthier and taste better? Without the pus, without the hormones, without the misery. Thankfully, the dairy industry is slowly dying, as more and more people are realizing the truth.

I've said this before but I'll say it again. I find it a little too "coincidental" that as more and more people are ditching dairy, we are now seeing more "studies" finding that dairy is healthy, fat and lard and things like that are great for you, yada yada yada. It is a fact that the government subsidizes the dairy industry, and it appears that the organization that funded this study is a government organization…So in light of that, and in light of the fact that the dairy industry is slowly dying, I don't give this "research" much weight. But one thing is for damn sure... People love hearing good things about their bad habits. :D

Can you give us a sense of the amount and types of allies you have beyond the ones easily identifiable (Massie, etc.)? Naming names of people and organizations would be great, in addition to those within the administration and federal agencies, NGO's, media, etc. From my view, we're fighting an outnumbered and uphill battle. Is there a reason to be more hopeful?

What can we - the small but tireless minority - start doing, continue to do/do more of, and stop doing to further our mutual goals of small gov't, sound money, and not being the policeman of the world?

Isaac Bashevis Singer has some good quotes. This one is my favorite. (I think I even used it as my sig at one time) "When a human being kills an animal for food, he is neglecting his own hunger for justice. Man prays for mercy, but is unwilling to extend it to others. Why then should man expect mercy from God? It is unfair to expect something that you are not willing to give."

Over in the Fox & Friends clip, Rand talks about his plans to visit Russia with the Cato Institute in August. Fantastic. His general line of reasoning trying to make peace with Russia instead of constantly provoking is great. In this interview with Tapper, though, Tapper seemed to put Rand on his heels, when Tapper's cold war positioning was clearly just more of the same cold war mentality.

The soul is simply the inner you… your mind, will and emotions. Do you have those things? If so, if you have a soul. Or more accurately, you are a soul. I think some people get the soul mixed up with the spirit.

Obviously I wouldn't work for a company that demanded that. And it's extremely far-fetched, but if they all did that, it wouldn't matter because I have my own company, and I never want to go back to working for someone else anyway. I like being able to choose who I work with.

Yes, I think we all agree that people are free to associate with who they want to associate with, and if they don't like a company's policies, find another place to work. As for influencing people, I see it differently. For example, when it comes to religion/faith, there are tons of scriptures throughout the Bible about sharing the Gospel, being a witness, taking the good news to the ends of the earth, etc. As for other things, there’s nothing wrong with trying to influence people, as long as no one is forced, and as long as it is done in an appropriate way. I'm sure there are many here who believe that we should try to influence people toward the message of liberty. The media/schools/powers-that-be are sure doing a good job influencing people in the opposite direction, so if we sit around and do nothing, how do we expect anything to ever change? But that's just what I believe, and I know that we all have different roles or 'callings' so maybe it's not for everyone.

I didn't read the whole article, but it seems to me that they simply removed it from the food they serve at events and such… That is very different than telling people what to do on their own time. But if it was the latter, then I would agree with you.

I kind of got that vibe from AF. But anyway, yes, let the free market work. It reminds me of a well-known café in England that recently took dairy completely off their menu, after watching the viral video "Dairy is scary." If people don't like that decision, they can take their business somewhere else. I haven't heard how their business is doing, but with all the attention they got for that, they probably got a ton more business for doing it.
