The LP has comedy value, to be sure. We have seen the enemy, and don't know if it's the CIA or if it's our own autistic asses. But I think the conversation was about, or more about, small-l libertarianism as a philosophy. And on that score, I think the old adage that it's always darkest before the dawn has merit, because excess tends to cause a backlash. They're trying to get us to go full totalitarian because of the problems they created. That's why they have reacted so strongly to Ron Paul and ourselves, and have worked so hard at usurping the Tea Party and other things. All we can do is keep broadcasting the fact that the government caused all those problems, usually deliberately, and see if that allows us to play one "side" off against the other. We have a real chance to do that, if we can avoid getting caught up in their artificial divide, and remember that the lesser evil is still more evil than ever.

I'm thinking (for what my opinion is worth) that you're better informed than ~95% of the population. The tricky part these days is figuring out what all that information adds up to. Toward. Look at the twixt in Brian's post just above yours.

Like that's still optional at this point. He guaranteed the currency will crash in the next four years during his first term, and that destructive policy hasn't changed. That aspect of the economy is beyond anyone's control now, I think.

Not for me. I'm far more likely to contribute to a maintenance man working in the private sector than any government employee. Anyone on the government teat who hasn't put something aside is a brat. Sometimes you do make me wonder who you think you're talking to when you come here.

But it's not plausible, Biden least of all. So if they do another steal, we can all bet our bottom dollars that it's a deliberate provocation.

Meh. It's not like it's even slightly unusual. I haven't seen ex-President Trump referred to as "unemployed reality show host", or Jimmy Carter as "retired peanut farmer". It's also completely understandable, especially in an obit. And there's reason for it. When people are trying to put a face to a name, "one time variety show host Carol Burnett" tends to work better than "occasional guest on Password Carol Burnett". You're grilling a nothing burger this time.

Note the verb used: "was". Ex-fire chief. I've seen that noted elsewhere, probably in the Butler Eagle. Not that it matters in a small enough town to have a volunteer fire department. My grandpop was assistant fire chief, but his day job was his bakery. Even had a siren on his bread wagon. If you're really interested, CaptUSA and he had several mutual real life friends. Check with him. Yeah. That.

But it does matter, if the locals had it covered but were ordered to LIHOP. And people call all manner of law enforcement "police", though it's equally true that any number of agencies put "POLICE" on the backs of their uniforms, too.

There you go. First you say they can have everything they want without a Trump figure involved, then you say shit would have hit the fan four years ago if rank and file Republicans didn't have this orange carrot dangling in front of them. Now think that through. To what end? That's only a plan for eliminating the Constitution if you can fool conservatives into fighting for someone ready and willing to trash it, right? Right? You say you have faith that Trump isn't that guy. I say he and Pelosi already tried to do that once, but Massie foiled the plot.

Clearly wasn't just noisemakers. Someone said one of the vids shows his ear getting hit, but I haven't gone through any frame by frame myself. If they were faking it they went to the trouble and took the risks to make it believable. Either way, may God be merciful on those attendees who paid the price.

Or, you know, he could have just been a Christian and a conservative sick of having things he believed in usurped and short circuited by a Manhattan Democrat. More power to him. About time somebody held Trump's feet to the fire.

I referenced Romans chapter 1 and 1st Corinthians 6:9, which condemn homosexuality and effiminate men.

Are you saying those verses aren't in the Bible? How was what I said "non biblical"?
  2. View Conversation
Oh, the Bible is "bullshit"? Thank you for showing your obvious bias. Frankly, that's a horrible position to take, one you'll answer for. I pity you.

I'm a "troll" because I offer the Biblical perspective on the subject? You are biased against it because it condemns the false modern religion of self-worship.

Yeah, the guy was digging himself deeper and deeper. The first post with his use of bitch and cunt made the point, but he kept on going and going, indicating to me deeper issues than the obvious. Whatever.

As for obvious intentions, yeah, I'm on board with that. Thanks for the clarity. I didn't think your head rolled like that. He was baiting anyone to be insulted so he could go, "See?! Not so much fun when YOU'RE the one... hypocrite!" To go through that much gyration to attempt to elicit a response tells me he ain't getting laid at all. Little wonder, too, I would think. Yick. That sort of chronic bitter anger is not very attractive... at least not to me.

    Hope you slept well.

Am I Welcome Here?

by MelissaWV on 09-12-2015 at 11:33 AM
I don't mind immigration at all, but when they are coming to leech off the failed system; that pisses the hell out of me. Get across the border, and never have to work again. Take me somewhere like that !!!!
You are somewhere like that, as the forums have mentioned repeatedly. Isn't this the place where it has been said over and over that it is more profitable to leech off the Government than to try to work and make something of yourself? The majority of people doing that were not

I'm going to be completely and totally counterintuitive. I'm going to say the opposite of what most of the "we can still win!" people are saying on the boards. I'm going to ask you to do something that should come easily to some, and leave others wondering what I'm smoking.

Now is your time.

Now is not the time for another Money Bomb after this one. Now is not the time to wait for the campaign to guide you. Now is not the time to sit around and wait for

The Liberty Tree

by MelissaWV on 04-05-2012 at 07:50 PM
Once upon a time, there was a land called Ron Paul Forums. There was no "Liberty Forest" yet; the entire thing was a seedling, sprouting up in a bad neighborhood called the Internet. Surrounded by pornography, cute kitten photos, and videos that people mostly created by aiming a camera at their television, a website grew a little bigger.

I came to RPFs out of anger. At the time, I had my own Ron-related venture, or at least a stake in it. As VTV and DrSteveParent and
