LAWYER: How to Stop Cops From COVERING Your Porch Camera https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nno8ejpi7g {Hampton Law | 19 January 2025} Imagine a police officer walks up to your front door and notices your doorbell camera or porch security cam. But instead of acting professionally, they cover or disable the camera—hiding what they’re about to do. Sound extreme? It’s not. This has happened repeatedly, with some departments even admitting to this practice. In this video, I’m breaking down: 1. If police can legally cover or disable your cameras. 2. What steps you can take to protect your privacy and security. 3. How to handle an officer who won’t leave after you’ve refused to answer the door.

‘Stood up to fake news’: CNN liable for defaming Navy veteran to the tune of $5 million — and settled before the jury could decide punitive damages https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/stood-up-to-fake-news-cnn-liable-for-defaming-navy-veteran-to-the-tune-of-at-least-5-million-with-additional-liability-for-punitive-damages-to-come-later/ {Colin Kalmbacher | 17 January 2025} A Florida jury on Friday morning put itself into position to deliver money justice to a U.S. Navy veteran who was defamed by CNN during a broadcast about his private business efforts to evacuate people from Afghanistan as the war-torn country was overrun by the Taliban. A unanimous six-person jury in Bay County determined the cable news network was liable for defamation stemming from a November 2021 segment on “The Lead with Jake Tapper” in which journalist Alex Marquardt painted Zachary Young as an “illegal profiteer” exploiting “desperate Afghans” with “exorbitant” fees amid the fallout of President Joe Biden’s chaotic withdrawal, according to the language of the lawsuit. Young maintained CNN’s broadcast effectively tarred him as a scofflaw and ruined his business, making it nearly impossible for him to work because of the severe damage to his reputation that ensued.

They're calling him a "whistleblower" now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We3YBZM30CM {Decoy Voice | 18 January 2025} Twitter owner Elon Musk was recently called out over his suspicious video gameplay. Twitch streamer Asmongold then stated he believed his video game character was paid for, which caused Elon to go to X and criticize Zack's gameplay and leak their old DMs. Now the media is blowing this out of proportion, but do they have a point?

Another example: so-called "civil asset forfeiture" was intended for use against "drug kingpins" and the like. Now, it is routinely used to steal the money and property of ordinary, innocent citizens. (It's gotten so bad that the authors of the original civil asset forfeiture legislation have even disavowed their own work.) Give the government an inch, and without exception, it will always end up taking a mile.

No, they won't. There is nothing "fundamental" about any of this. As agreeable as they might sometimes be, things like executive orders are as ephemeral and transient as the next administration, which can reverse or undo them with executive orders of it's own. Case in point: Nothing is going to change "fundamentally" unless and until a significant range of the powers the federal government are permanently removed, with the remainder being sharply curtailed. No amount of mere "executive orders" or the like is ever going to accomplish that.

Ditto for me. The things you mention (and numerous other similar things) are why I don't buy into the "Trump is controlled opposition" narrative. Trump is just an "open" narcissist who has no principles - which puts him well ahead of most of his political enemies, who are "closeted" narcissists with bad principles. And entirely apart from being deeply gratifying to witness just for its own sake, the phenomenon of "'sploding libtard heads" goes a long way to fostering yet more (and yet bolder) anit-Establishment sentiment, which is not at all a bad thing (and that's another reason I don't buy the "controlled opposition" angle).

Is he perfect? No, but then nobody is. So far I'm enjoying the shit out of his first day, he fired a stupid DEI Coast Guard Admiral, he took away Bolton's security detail again (woohoo!) and there will be more for the commie MSN and such to wail and gnash their teeth over. He pardoned Ross, which many were in doubt of. Will there be things to be thoroughly trashed here as completely against liberty? Of course. He's no Milei. In my insignificant opinion, he's a step in the right direction and I'm going to enjoy the shit out of the meltdown of the Orwellian left. I also find the anti- AIPAC sentiment of the MAGA folks/base encouraging even though at the moment it has no impact. Flame away.

As I suggested in the thread OP, it was entirely possible that the "Day One" thing was just rhetorical: As it turns out, it was close enough that it makes no difference. And on top of that, the promise was just to commute Ulbricht's sentence - but instead, Trump went "above and beyond" keeping that promise, and issued a full and unconditional pardon. Not bad at all.

The feds are not coming to save us. (Not even Trump's feds.) It's well past time for the states to step up and do things like prosecute Fauci, et al. But they won't. Not yet (if ever). Things are going to have to get worse before they get better.

Of course. Corporate officers can also be charged criminally if warranted. Shareholders are never held criminally or civilly liable for the actions of their company. They simply, potentially lose their investment. That's my point. The reason is that the Law defines a corporation as an individual, not a collective. The Law claims this entity has rights, although limited, bestowed upon it by the Law, that are separate from the rights of its constituent owners.

Right now its clear that statist secular humanism are effectively the law of the land. And ever since the 14th amendment the states are not allowed to do anything different.

Its impossible for any standard of law to be neutral. That's the ultimate issue. And every idea of freedom that you hold dear, even if it is at some point abused or twisted, ultimately originates in Christianity.
