Well. When it comes to the music industry, handlers have a lot to do with sobriety or the lack of it. But, yes, it certainly is a very sad thing. Agreed.

Completely this. To me, everything about the genre was one big miserable downer. It wasn't happy music. The very sound of grunge was a downer. So full of anger and misery. May as well have been raining every day with the dreariest of grey sky hovering above listening to that miserable sound. In my view. Of course, I was an adult in the previous decade so that's probably why I hate it so much. It was totally the opposite vibe that I was used to and liked. When grunge came along it destroyed all that was good and enjoyable about the radio on the drive home. Most miserable drive home ever. And yes I understand that SG and AIC has a metalish foundation. It's no different than rock n roll having blues and gospel beginnings. But rock n roll ain't gospel, now, is it? lol. I'm calling it grunge, though. You guys can call it what ya want. Most anybody you ask will agree that they not only consider it grunge, but SG was one of the first bands to popularize grunge. Sounds like grunge. Gives me a downer like grunge. Makes me miserable like grunge. I was pissed off when grunge came along and to this day I want my rock n roll back. Regardless of that, I don't want to be disrespectful so I do offer my condolences. As I said, I don't like to read about people dying. Well, unless they're a tyrant. That's different.

I absolutely detested that whole grunge scene and all of the dreariness and negative energy of the music of that era but I'm always sad to see someone pass. RIP.

The more think about it, the more I'm in agreement with the views of the anti-federalists prior to ratification. I tried, though. I really, really tried. Our Republic could be a wonderful thing if it could work. But it just can't work. And I know history and the nature of Man well enough to know why. Our nation has become a modern day Babylon. And most certainly by design. My principles won't change. Nor will my faith in God. But I'm just not gonna try to sell that anymore.

lol. Tod. Ya dumb ass. I'm outta ammo, sorry. That's why I like you, though, you're the most respectful wise-ass on the board. Well, maybe AF'll give ya a run for it. I do want to say, though, that I know lil doesn't want to be disrespectful to people's views. And she doesnt want the government to force people to do anything either. Admittedly, I'm biased, but I do know that. Sometimes I think I have her right where she agrees with me from a purely survivalist lifestyle. Those of us who grew up in the sticks and the mountains separated from modern civilization for generations know what that means. She's never gonna give up on the topic, though. I guarantee it. lol.

Yeah, they sure are coming to pass. Wish we had an anti-federalist section here. I've read all of the anti-federalist papers that I've seen in various collections. Surely not all of them, though, given that they were largely written in the social sections of the newspapers at the time under pen names. It'd make for some really cool discussion.

World government. lolol. The only way that would even be remotely possible is if the basis of the philosophy were that of the spiritual brotherhood of men under the common fatherhood of God as its primary foundation for moral code. As far as I can tell, though, most people touting a one world government are Godless tyrants.

Well, if that's the case, and we can opt out, then the government is no longer the exclusive geographical power. We've just went full anarchy since we're competing with them and because of that, nobody has exclusive power over the geographical area known as the globe anymore. Our new defense and arbitration services companies are now on equal footing with the organization formerly known as global government. Now the minarchists are reduced to a mere private membership organization that collects voluntary dues from its voluntary members for services rendered. The state has been abolished because me and you opted out and voided the government's exclusive geographical power, O. Welcome to anarchy. lololol. We did it. Of course, they might send their government goons (police, military, whatever ya want to call em) with guns because of the nature of our little enterprise. After all, government really doesn't want any competition. But...we got goons, too. We were competing with them. Remember? Ha! Now being anarchists in our little social communities, we just have to watch out for the socialists because they're gonna try to come take our wealth and property at gunpoint in order to fund their socialist program so....hm...what to do, what to do...you watch the front door and I watch the back? Hookers and blow? What.

You can get married whenever you want so long as the two of you are responsible. Additionally, and this is just me talking, some may disagree, that's fine, but a Christian wife and a Christian husband bring holiness to marriage. Otherwise, their children would not have a godly influence. They would be set apart from Him. Now, that said, I have a separate question. When is it too late to have kids? And why? Would it be unfair to the child to be born later in the parent's life. Like...oh...I dunno...lets say the parents are in their 50s.

Hello, old friend. Yeah, people don't really go to GMF to talk economics, but there are a few there who have some common sense. Unfortunately, they are outnumbered 10 to 1 by the nanny-staters.
