Yup,, All of the Denominations have a piece of truth .. Often truth that was hidden or obscured by religion. Several people have had Revelation Knowledge ,, that was rejected by the "church",, so they left and followed God.. I accept any that call Christ Lord... Judgement will have surprises for many,, it did for me. There is Humor in Gods Wisdom.

I've been spending the last few months making a serious go at learning how to trade. Is anyone else here a trader? I've been using Robin Hood to learn with only $50, buying <$5 stocks, a couple shares at a time, to get all the early blow-ups out of the way... so I'm using real money, just not much of it. I don't want to bump up against the PDT rule, so I'm trying to implement a strategy where I buy down gaps with strong technicals in the hope of a snap back, and ride it out for a day. If you're trading, ever done anything programatically? I have an E*TRADE acct through work and was thinking about trying to write a program that would automate buying and selling, maybe doing dozens of trades in a day, but that would mean having to actively deal with PDT rule.

LOL-insulting condescension? YOU ignored the entire OP & started the insulting train. And, yes, angelatc & I have banged heads a few times but she is NOT the top insulter on this forum by a long shot. You should know who that is. :speaknoevil: And, BTW, I AM an anti-vaxxer- and am also against any medical force.

The Roman Sect has exactly the same claim.. I was raised with that same teaching. as a justification of a priesthood and Hierarchy. And I have become convinced that the Legalized and Sanctioned religion is nothing I want anything to do with.. People yes,, the monolithic organization,,no.

It's not so much a perspective as a statement of fact. The Pope of Rome was one patriarch in disagreement with all four of the others. You can't have four people split from a group and leave one person. That's in simple defiance of basic logic. But the chart also doesn't include the first formal split, at the Council of Chalcedon - but Chalcedonian and non-Chalcedonian Orthodox are in disagreement over a split hair so fine so as to be pretty unbelievable. We're basically the same, but maintain a 1600 year old disagreement.

In a day and age where the legal and moral thing to do so often conflict, I think that Rand should weigh the outcome of his options. The name is going to come out. Whether he needs to do that himself is another issues. See below: Also political suicide. IF this would hurt Rand politically more than it would help then no thanks.

What a load of reactionary tripe! This article, full of slave owners, immigrants and nazis, is trying to create a self-fulfilling prophesy. Divided is conquered. Uh huh. Let's see. If 100% of the population identified as Democrat or Republican in 1960, and five percent of those was crazy, then five percent of the population was crazy. If a third of the population identifies as Democrat or Republican, and a third of those are crazy, then ten percent of the population is crazy. Yeah, these propagandists are driving us crazy. But they're also cooking the numbers trying to convince us they've driven more of us crazy than they have.

Neither 46% of the popular vote nor 56% of the electoral vote are landslide by any definition. The average electoral votes by the winner from 1964 to 2016 is 382; Trump got 304. You'd have to do better than average to qualify for landslide.

This thread has some of the greatest "Hot takes" ever committed to teh internets. I'm so glad I check here for all the inside shit. I especially love the ones where people who will release the documents will do it because they have a bomb diddily "Secret hidden agenda" to do so. And I also got a woody reading the ones where other people on the inside know...who want to hide the documents from public view because....well....they have an even bigger bomb diddily "secret hidden agenda". It's some stellar awesomeness that only the peoples on Ron Paul Forums are hip to that insider 'Sauces' and know why MAGA is doing what he's doing. Playing that ole 3D Chess....God Bless him MAGA!!! Take our main man Swordshit. He's got all inside know....ya know. He's probably got a bat phone to Trump and is talking about the perfect, right time to release the documents. But not just yet.... ya know...

Since when is the "We got a badass over here" meme "gay"? It's been all over the interwebz for many moons and it's used by all sorts of folks. There are several samples in the various "bestest picture thread evarrr"-s.
  8. The reason I have no use for monarchies is it's complete pot luck what you get. If your generation gets a Victoria, you could be in worse shape (assuming her advisors aren't lying to her about what they're doing), but if you get an Ivan the Terrible you're screwed. I prefer a system that at least holds out hope for nonviolent revolution, whether people are generally smart enough to use it or not.

And I'm pretty sure you meant neither Bismarck nor the kaiser.

    Chancellor von Bismarck
    President von Hindenburg

That help get the rust out of your history? 'Cause those who get rusty on history are liable to re-live the bad parts...

You're right, I should have said the Kaiser, not Bismarck. :/ (My WWI history is rather rusty...I do remember Hitler suffered from mustard gas inhalation during that war and a bunch of other factoids) Yeah, monarchs have been somewhat fascist in certain occasions, but they always had incentive not to destroy their subjects' economy or their own respective societies as presidents and prime ministers or even legislators do. (such elected officials almost always leave office very wealthy and almost never face justice for their misdeeds) Generally speaking, the best to worst scale goes- voluntary association with government>hereditary monarchy>monarchy>classical republicanism>modern constitutionalism>democracy etc.

What has it to do with politics? Everything. Politicians piss us off, then try to misdirect our anger 'across the aisle' to people who are fundamentally exactly the same, but wear a different party label. The game is age old, but still works.

People are angry, but they are often in denial about it. They know they're angry, but they don't want to admit they're angry
