If he hasn't been active on X either, it seems more likely that life has interfered with all internets activity. I hope all is well with him. Going dark like this generally isn't a good sign.

I bought a tiny bit a few months ago. It's on a bit of a run right now as expectations are rising that the SEC lawsuit is going to be dropped. I'm a bit conflicted about XRP though. They are really trying to ingratiate themselves with banking authorities to build/enable a CBDC.
Separately, I have to wonder how XRPs tech measures up (scalability, security, decentralization, etc.) against newer systems like SUI and EGLD.
Rep. Dorazio submitted a related bill:

Never thought I'd see the day where this issue blew up, but toady's the day!
Marc Andreessen appeared on Joe Rogan's show and talked about Operation Choke Point 2.0. Now it's starting to go viral and people that had no clue are learning about it.

This is the post Elon Musk referenced (not shown in the embedded tweet, but visible on X if you click on the tweet):
^^ Passes the smell test from where I sit. His resignation shortly after the AG announcement made no sense until it came out that the investigation results weren't going to be released because he stepped down.
Correct. You don't need Coinbase One unless you plan to trade *a lot*. Coinbase One offers lower transaction fees on buying/selling/(trading/swapping), so if you are dealing with large values or frequent/high volume actions, you might save money using it, but most folks who are just starting or dabbling will do just fine with a basic Coinbase account, which is free.
It provides some regulator clarity instead of allowing the SEC to continue it's capricious rule by enforcement agenda that was casting a chilling effect on the industry. You are welcome to read the War on Crypto link I provided or do some basic research on your own if you like.
He met with Senators just yesterday:

They must have a lot of dirt/kompromat on him for him to bow out like this right after that meeting.
What? That is not correct. I have been using Coinbase for several years - never paid a dime for any subscription.
I wrote a tutorial about a year ago for folks interested in crypto but unsure how to get started:
