The number of people who get "cheated" as a percentage is quite small, although they should work to minimize it. This guy only made $10 million a year as CEO.. that's nothing. Rachael Maddow makes $30 million a year to lie on TV once a week.. Some of the claims should be denied, per the contract, some that should not end up getting denied sometimes due to the scaling problem, having tens of millions of customers. The reason they deny claims is to reduce their expenses to lower the price of insurance for everyone else. Insurance is like $700/month, $8k per year. It's fucking insane. It's not the insurance companies' fault healthcare is such a mess and so expensive, it's the government's fault for being so involved in healthcare.

I would have told you it would hit $1 million if you'd asked.. pretty sure those numbers were thrown around on here somewhere. Of course I would have been wrong, but at least directionaly accurate. I still think it's going to be at least $1-$2 million, maybe even $10 million+ eventually.. and I don't mean in nominal terms, I mean in today's value of the dollar, or even 2013 value.. TBH presence drove me nuts.. I'm down to trade a small stack, but I was always a hodler.. presence would be like "I'm all in cash right now" when it was $220 or something..

I bought a little bit about 12 years ago as a hedge against btc. Looks like btc did just fine, but XRP is looking pretty good as well. It's owned and controlled by a private company, which is risky compared to the decentralized model. But it looks like they might do some good things.

Yes and no. Unless you have some entirely new concept for a business, the question always is, who is the richest guy in town? What are they doing? Can I do that? Do I want to do that? Can I do as good or comparable to them in quality and price in a market where they have weak exposure, or can I do better than them in either of those categories and go after their existing marketshare? If not.. then who is the second richest guy in town? Same questions. If not.. then who is the third richest guy in town? Rinse and repeat until you get a "yes".

Rosenne Barr inspired me to look into Zohar I have listened to several videos and gone to Zohar.com to try and learn something about it. I don't understand it. Do you? I know people who talk about it say it is protection, healing, and wisdom all rolled into words in a book. It origins are in Aramaic text but has been translated in other languages. It does make me wonder though.

I think he is proving a point here that is going over some people's heads. If Trump picked somebody you wanted for a position that requires Senate confirmation, there is an almost 0% chance of them getting confirmed. However.. Trump is picking a lot of really good people as well as some not so great, and the Senate can only deny so many before they look ridiculous. As far as this lady.. terrible on guns. Amazing on immigration. Allegedly she was a Trump supporter in the 2016 primary and is considered highly likely to be loyal. That is important, since most of his bad picks end up stabbing him in the back and sabotaging his goals. This is also a signal immigration will be a top priority out of the gate, while we get some of the other things together like cutting government and investigations. She may end up gone in 6-12 months once immigration is handled, and they put in somebody who is better for going after the deep state.

I'm glad that the biggest blockchain at the moment is decentralized, rather than centralized. Of course the fight will rage on.. there are privacy coins that people could flip over to if necessary. But at the moment, privacy wise using bitcoin is slightly better than using a credit card, and potentially completely private depending on how you get the bitcoin and how you spend it. Your name isn't on the transaction, your name is on the account of the institution that you deal with. If you buy it anonymously and spend it anonymously, it's like using cash. If you buy it through an exchange and spend it using your real name at retail institutions, or are on camera spending it, then it's not much different than where we are at now.

They were copying Trump, because Trump was stealing the crypto vote. Nobody believed Kamala, so they voted Trump. We had the same arguments over weed legalization. Does it suck the government is involved? Yes. Has it benefited customers to legalize cannabis? Yes. My weed budget used to be $200-$300+ per month back before it was legal, and even when it was only legal for medicinal purposes. Since legalization, now it's like $30/month. Plus I don't have to worry about getting arrested for buying it or having it on me. I'll take it. Will I keep supporting getting the government out of it? Yes. But we are in a much better place now.

You are missing two things. First, decentralized crypto blockchains will slowly displace fiat currencies, so the government propping up bitcoin is undermining itself in the longterm. Second, that quote I left in there. Would it be preferable to get government out of it completely so that companies can lawfully serve customers in digital asset markets? Yes.
