There are plenty of repeats and various ways to watch (see here: http://www.pbs.org/kenburns/the-vietnam-war/watch/#clips). Episodes are presented chronologically. I missed the first one, but you don't (of course) need to watch these consecutively to follow it. There are many interviews from various people and perspectives. The first link I posted is just a tiny sample of the different points of view. There is plenty of original footage. They skillfully intersperse recreation with actual footage. A big focus is the detail of individual battles, including many satellite maps. If you like military history, then the show is definitely for you. There is however, a lot of other kinds of history: political, social, cultural, etc. The show, again, approaches the subject from many different angles. I think the show is very well done. It's different from other shows on the same subject because it's more in-depth (18 hours) and very, very thoughtful. I know people don't always like public television and its producers, but the quality is there. I don't like certain things about PBS and its creators, but it's not an either/or proposition. For example, I find the PBS animal show Nature second-to-one. The Vietnam War series follows this lead in that they let the audience actually reflect on what they're watching. This is opposed to other shows that hurry through the dialogue and speed through the footage. The narrator of the Vietnam series is very crisp and clear. The script he reads is outstanding. I am actually coming away with a different perspective. Ha ha; I guess I should be a salesman for this show, but that's how much I like it. Here is the website description of this Sunday night's episode:

At the start of the video, he makes one small mistake. He referred to Targeted Advertising as "Demographics", which is now completely out of date. Its now called Psychographics, not Demographics, because the algorithms use very detailed data sources to determine a persons psychology in order to effectively manipulate the individual to buying a product or service or scam or whatever. Psychographics will examine things like Religious Preferences, Briggs Meyer Personality Tests (INTJ's and ENFP's, stuff like that), and EVERY possible source to maximize manipulation of purchase. Difference here is that Demographics target by age and gender and look at Groups, not Individuals based on Psychology. Just picking nits, but overall, he is right. Online Advertising is HYPE. The REAL danger here is when people start getting thrown in jail, interment camps, re-education centers, or whatever you want to call it for what those Psychographic Tests reveal instead of just letting them be normal ordinary good people. We arent there yet, but if you look at the strong reactions between Trump and Hittlary supporters, we are getting progressively closer every single day.

Big problem here. SCAMS. There have been scams that have been running for years that target the elderly. If the IRS is now gonna resort to private debt collectors, how are the elderly, especially those with mental conditions such as Alzheimers supposed to tell the difference between an actual IRS debt collection and one of those fucking Indian scams that try to call my house nearly DAILY? The authorization of IRS using Debt Collectors just screwed over a shit load of gullible people by making it even harder to tell the difference between Legit and Scam. --- Yes, I do believe the IRS itself is a scam, and Taxation is Theft. However, it is very difficult even for the most enabled people to fight back against the IRS when they have the power of the US Govt behind them.

Most people are generally not rich enough to keep a cow or a pig in their backyard but suit yourself I guess. Their just going to breed themselves in the wild after their irresponsible owners let them go like the millions of stray dogs and cats.

Eat The Enemy: The Delicious Solution To Menacing Asian Carp Asian carp were never supposed to live in North American waterways. Like many other invasive species, they were introduced by humans in an attempt to address another problem, namely to remove algae from catfish farms and wastewater treatment ponds in the 1970s. But sometime in the next two decades, the fish escaped their enclosures -- most likely due to several large floods in the '90s -- and began to spread. Over the past 15 years, populations have exploded, as the carp outcompete native fish populations and quickly reproduce through the tributaries of the Mississippi and Illinois rivers while moving north to the Great Lakes. And they've become a huge problem. The name "Asian carp" is actually an umbrella title for four different species: bighead carp, black carp, grass carp and silver carp. Some of the larger species can weigh up to 100 pounds and have an uncanny ability to jump out of the water. Females can produce upwards of 2 millioneggs, and some of the fish can live for 20 years. The Obama administration has spent more than $200 milliontrying to control their spread, including building a series of electrified barriers to try to deter the fish from swimming closer to the Great Lakes. So far, those efforts have failed, and the carp have been seen less than 40 miles from Lake Michigan. Should the animals reach the lakes, they have the potential to devastate local ecosystems and a $7 billion fishing industry. But the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says any fix, if one that works can be found, would be neither easy nor immediate, and it could cost billions morethan has already been spent.

So pigs, cows, chickens, turkeys are being slaughtered at biblical proportions everyday yes? What would happen if you released them into the wild? Wouldn't they just destroy the environment, eat up all our crops and go feral in lands they aren't native to like the Asian Carp?

Perhaps you should read some history- the US had a government controlled monetary system until 1913. http://www.let.rug.nl/usa/essays/general/a-brief-history-of-central-banking/central-banking-in-the-united-states.php Do I think this is the best way to handle it? No. But it's still in step with the first 120 years of American government.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity_in_Korea Fundamentalist Protestant antagonism against Buddhism has been a major issue for religious cooperation in South Korea, especially during the 1990s to late 2000s. Acts of vandalism against Buddhist amenities and "regular praying for the destruction of all Buddhist temples" have drawn criticism. Buddhist statues have been considered as idols, attacked and decapitated. Arrests are hard to enforce, as the perpetrators work by stealth at night." Such acts, which are supported by some Protestant leaders, have led to South Koreans having an increasingly negative outlook on Protestantism and being critical of church groups involved, with many Protestants leaving their churches in recent years. In contrast, relations between South Korean Catholics and Buddhists and other faiths has remained largely cooperative, partly due to the syncretism of many Buddhist and Confucian customs and philosophies into South Korean Catholicism, most notably the practice of jesa.

He gave a pretty good speech at Berkeley, but his foreign policy is definitely a huge downside. I guess after 8 years of having a Democrat neocon President, it's pretty refreshing to hear someone who genuinely agrees with you 70% of the way or more, especially when they focus on the 70+%.

Danno thanks for the rep but he didn't get sucked in to the degree that he ignored what was important. Otherwise he would have never gotten arrested.
  3. Yeah. It sucks right now. But at least we both miss each other and he has an intellectually stimulating job. He's just not that responsible with money or investments (aside from BTC), I'll be moving there, hopefully within a month. We aren't breaking up, despite quite a few rocky patches.

See my 60 minute documentary video for the full story behind the subpoenaed arrest and booking records. It's aired perhaps 50 times along with its sequel, all linked from this page.

Please download CIRCA, rather than streaming the .avi file. The friend that hosts it on that server asked that be done rather than consuming bandwidth there. The 40 minute sequel in 3 parts can be streamed on YouTube.

Perhaps that will give you an idea of the size and scope of the conspiracy surpressing me and my information.
