Thanks for that! I don't hate women. I don't hate anyone for what they are. I don't hate cops either. There are things I do absolutely hate tho. The things I hate are almost entirely choice based behaviors. Still, when I stop and try to dig deeper, observing said behaviors leads me to understand why people do those things despite still pissing me off. Like graffiti, or publicly dumping large volumes of trash behind my house. I now have an abandoned boat that has no trailer and can not be moved without some serious heavy duty equipment, and now abandoned or stolen cars that are stripped out. I have one guy that constantly dumps tires in the field. That definitely pisses me off because these people dumping this crap have no respect for anyone else. They have no problem shitting where someone else eats. Those people take absolutely zero pride in their lives and dont seek to make anything better for anyone, including themselves. Other major behavior based irritations of mine are things like Doublethink and Entitlements. A lot of it is mostly just selfish ways of thinking. That in and of itself would not be a problem if they did not come at the consequence of being at the expense of everyone else. They dont even try to challenge the ideas that are presented to them to consider that what is proposed may not be a good idea. Like buying into Bernie Madoffs bullshit before he finally got arrested. That also extends to Social Security to a certain degree. For the most part, its the Retards out there. That includes those who get all butt-hurt over the use of the word Retard. I dont express the word Retard as someone who has a handicap or disability. I understand that people with mental disabilities do not have the ability to think the same way as the majority of other people do. When I use the word Retard, it is used to describe people who have the full capacity to think clearly and choose not to; the Willfully Ignorant. Thus, those that are very offended when I say Retard are ones that have the capacity to think and are thus Willfully Ignorant of what it actually means. Perhaps they do understand and recognize that I am attacking their refusal to even consider another persons ideas what so ever. In regards to Women being Undatable, I thought this would be more humorous because the guy is right. Being approachable is a major step towards being datable. We all spend a lot of time focusing on ourselves. What I find odd is how many people spend as much time in self focus, yet, do nothing to make themselves better people who are worthy of being in a relationship. For example, a fat fuck that goes to work at a shitty job that will go no where, comes home, and watches Big Bang Theory and Dancin with the Stars and blames everyone else for not being in a relationship. They turn back around with Entitlements to Relationships, and that is the exact shit that pisses me off.

The cognitive dissonance of the author... If an uncontrollable action is a mental health issue, then is it not a mental health disorder and as a disorder does that not make it an illness?

So there is a new position being foisted that has found foothold. "The myth of mental illness in mass shootings." It is finding foothold in the millions that are on SSRI's and, gosh darnit, are sick and tired of being scapegoated. It's being pushed by idiots such as this author who through assumptions and outright falsehoods mean to put this debate firmly back on anti-gun legislation ground. The Myth That Mental Illness Causes Mass Shootings He goes on to talk about gun violence in general pointing to studies, BUT NOT the correlation in mass shootings.

I mostly watch ballgames and old movies on tee vee, but see these ads for current TV shows and new movies that seem to play up the dysfunction angle. How many ads do you see where characters break out of America's ordered and safety mode, only to become bad ass want-to-be cynics? Is that a sign of the times, or has dysfunction always been funny? Women and women parents aren't always portrayed in the best light either. And I don't see all these media portrayals as being totally monolithic in a shift. The Honeymooners is, arguably, the best comedy of all-time, but Ralph and Ed often played dunderheads to their more apparently sensible wives. Homer Simpson is a dunce compared to Marge, but I used to ROTFL the first few years of that show. Archie Bunker was often portrayed as weak and foolish, but liberal Norman Lear made sure liberal character Meathead got his share of jabs. Maybe those are exceptions, or it's not a total tidal wave?

From the FBI.... https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-statement-on-the-shooting-in-parkland-florida If someone were to call the local sheriff and report "I have noticed something strange at my neighbors house. He has a shed in his back yard. Sometimes at night he will unlock the door, go inside and then he and a young girl, perhaps 13 will exit. He will play on a swing set for an hour then return to the shed with her, afterwards exiting by himself and re-locking the door." Hearsay? Perhaps. Until investigated and either proven or dis-proven.

This 2007 CBS story starts off that way and points exactly to the shows you mention; however, they seem to play it off in the end. The 10 minute clip is probably long for a discussion forum, but I think you will be interested. This guy's Youtube comment in part II of the video makes some good points:

I dont disagree with what your saying but your logic and conclusions. So if in a pagan society you can kill, torture and rape any woman you like. and islam comes along and says hay, you can only rape and kill not torture, that while better does not conclude islam is god ordained. otherwise feminism and liberalism must be from god as they would improve the condition of woman over islam. You said "There's nothing really to disagree with. You posted verses I wholly explained" and this is our issue, its an issue of authority. Do we take the plain words of the koran and hadiths, or yours? when you say those verses do not say what they actually say, who do we listen to? that is why your editions to the koran mean nothing to me as the koran is clear on beating their wives. to claim it says to hit without pain or with a twig] makes a fool of the verse and its punishments by husbands to woman who disobey. This claim is well refuted in debates see below DEBATE: Does the Quran Promote Peace? (Spencer & Wood vs. Hussain & Ebady)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgKarDCo6bY You say the man was beat for slapping his wife? could you please support from the hadith. You go on to ask So how do we reconcile what you're posting and what I'm posting? My answer we dont. Because I post from the koran, you post from yourself, once more an issue of authority. You than claim Bukhari as "weak" please support this claim, if bukari is not authority than who is? .

I listened to the NC State-Syracuse game on the radio the other night. Wolfpack almost folded when Boeheim switched from their zone to a more frenetic style. This time though, NC State handled it and went on to win. As it stands now, they might have enough signature wins to get in. Probably could use one or two more good wins though.

Yeah, chess is one of those games they dub Easy to learn, but hard to master. I don't play much either. It's just too many variables, so it's like work to me. My wife can take me out in a minimum number of moves. It's funny though, because she doesn't like this really old game called Broadside. I find Broadside style slightly similar to chess, but she swears she does not understand the game. I like Upwords (Scrabble) because you think, but you can exhaust the variables much easier. I still lose 3 of 4 games, but find it more enjoyable. Mastermind is a thinking game that'll make you go "Damn!" when your losing ass can't figure it out. Ever play TiGo? It's a version of the old Chinese game called Go. It's similar to Broadside in that each side has different pieces, and therefore, different strengths. It's 4 tigers versus 20 goats. The object for the tigers is to jump all 20 goats. The object for the goats is to surround all 4 tigers. Different from chess in that sense. Okay, so I sort a got off track, but there's some trivia in these old nostalgia games. Plus, it relates to the thread in the my mother-in-law is going to live with us. She has a visa from half way around the world. She doesn't speak much English, so these games actually give me an idea for an activity.

The white knight a chess analogy. Here's the rest: pawn = you queen = divorced wife; or, the most powerful piece on the board king = not you, but the government judge who rules against you bishop = forget praying, pawn; you haven't got a prayer rook/castle = A man's home is his castle. Until the court decrees it to the queen.

Ha ha; good deliveries on live TV without missing a beat: Jane Curtin: Dan, times change and so does the nature of relationships. People are reluctant to get married these days and looking at divorce statistics, who can blame them. But the lack of a piece of paper does not neccessarily mean a lack of a total commitment. A woman is this modern-day relationship may well give up all her personal pursuits, as Michelle Marvin claims she did, to give her full support to her man's career. And Michelle Marvin is just asking that the courts recognize that reality. Dan, there's an old saying: "Behind every successful man there's a woman." A loving, giving, caring woman. But you wouldn't know about that, Dan, because there's no old saying about what's behind a miserable failure. Dan Aykroyd: Jane, you ignorant slut! Bagged-out, dried-up, slunken meat like you and Michelle Triola know the rules. If you want a contract, sign on the dotted line. Oh, but let's all shed a tear for poor Michelle Triola. There was only testimony that she had sexual intercourse over forty times with another man while living with actor Lee Marvin. But I suppose that sort of fashionable promiscuting means nothing to you, Jane, who hops from bed to bed with the frequency of a cheap ham radio. But hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn, and Michelle Triola, like a screeching, squealing, reptatious swamp sow is after actor Lee Marvin's last three million dollars. I guess what you and Michelle are saying is that when you're on your backs, the meter is running. Well, please spare us, gals, and tell us the rate's at the top. Then we can choose which two bit tarts and bargain basement sluts to shack up with. Jane Curtin: That's the news. Good night, and have a pleasant tomorrow.

So, although you are saying there will probably be another stock market crash (which you usually say wont happen), you are saying the current money paradigm is just fine and continue forever? And even go so far as to say this benefits the "little people" in the long term? I think your propensity for being pro fiat currency is obvious to nearly everyone, and that shows with your big red bar.

There shouldn't be an FBI. Which this increasingly proves. Plenty of assets and millions of dollars to find out that Russia participated in social media propaganda during the election. Kinda reminds me of Rand's waste report about the money spent to determine if Japanese quail have more sex when on cocaine. I'm just pointing out that this was perhaps the reason they have a hot line for this specific threat. But, it's funny you should mention as to why the FBI was involved so quickly. I was reading in another article that the bail bondsman that reported him for posting "I want to become a professional school shooter." got a call from the FBI within 30 mins. of the shooting asking him to call them back. Pretty quick work there wouldn't you think?

I suppose we'll never know given that they never investigated the complainant or the accused. They were obviously too busy with Russians. I did mention that there were laws in place to keep me from having the need to, didn't I? See? I'm just a law abiding American.
