I doubt he is behind his back. Regardless, Trump would be totally out, without question, for me if he chose a neocon.

He is saying we would end up with the latter. I mention the JBS and Dr. Paul’s close association with them, because if you knew anything about them at all, they have been warning about a push to world government since the JBS was first started.

You are taking one statement completely out of context. Dr. Paul is big on getting out of all foreign entanglements. He certainly isn’t for entering into the biggest one of all; world government. Because that is the goal of globalism. Dude, Ron Paul issued legislation to get us out of the UN several times. He has also spoken about the dangers of multilateral trade deals, since they include a legislative body that is over our own Congress. You probably read where I listed all the international organizations that I would like us out of. Where do you think I got that? Ron Paul, that’s where. I am probably older than you are. My Mother supported Ron Paul when he first ran for Congress. She was a Bircher. I still remember the bumper sticker for Ron Paul on her car. And my family didn’t put bumper stickers on cars. He was the first and only. So I have read his writings since I was young. And then there was the Ron Paul monetary conference many years ago now in New Hampshire that she drug me to. Murray Rothbard was there too. Honestly, the selective grabbing that you did looks to me as him trying to explain to those who have fallen for the globalism siren, why it won’t work. I wish that database of sorts that one supporter put together still existed, where you could click on a subject and then read all of his many articles and speeches. It got too difficult to maintain I think. But, when Dr Paul was running for President, it sure was great.

Uh huh. That is why it is important to have read his writings over 20+ years. Because if you had, you’d know what I told you was fact.

Interesting video. But, having immigration laws is not the issue. Everyone knowing we don’t enforce them is. How many other 1st world countries allow foreigners to walk right in and go on the dole? In reality, ones I am thinking about are very selective on who they even admit. You have to have a skill they need and they determine that. As far as drugs go, I believe most should be legalized and available over the counter. Of course, then the drug cartels would focus on something else.

Not the CIA? I’d add that one. Plus, get us out of the UN, NATO, World Bank, BIS, and every other international organization.

Just wanted to check and make sure you knew Ron Paul wasn’t in favor of globalism. Because he knows it would be the latter. How do I know that? Because Ron Paul spoke at the Birch Society’s annual gala for years, took their magazine and has said he never found anything he disagreed with. Dr. Paul isn’t a globalist.

Well, you are right that I wouldn’t want that. I haven’t seen him recommending it either. But, since he isn’t grounded in constitutional principles, he could go along with something horrible like that. But, honestly, we don’t have any guarantee anyone won’t do that, besides Rand or Thomas. So, you must be thinking Trump is some kind of big ‘ol fascist too?

Wow, i thought you were better than that. I never said I wanted all that other stuff you added on and you know it. I also have said that to really fix it … I am not going to repeat it. You saw it and have read me saying the same for YEARS. I don’t even know about the wall, but I can see up close and personal what is happening and also know that our piece of crap government is encouraging it for a reason and they aren’t going to stop. So what is your suggestion beyond pontificating?

I donít know if I agree about Dubya. A lot because of his rotten to the core, father. One of them knew about PNAC, because almost every person in Jrís cabinet was from there. Trump made a couple good, but mostly horrible appointees. I think he tried to bring in who he thought were the smartest people he knew to advise him on the economy (yes, I know, we all would have picked differently), but he did pick General Flynn, who seemed to be anti-war. The others, I donít think he had any idea and took who Chrispy Cream suggested to him. I remember back then asking Ron Paul to please advise him on this. But back then, Ronís position was to not. I was glad Rand was willing to get in Trumpís ear when he could. That said, if he chooses whatís her face for his VP, I am not voting for him. I hadnít done my due diligence on her, but at first glance, I was kinda hoping for Noem. But, after she shot herself in the foot, she isnít going anywhere.

JmDrake, I live in Texas, so I am seeing it up close and personal. Where it is common for repairmen to be several who can’t speak a word of English and their supervisor speaks a little. I would guess everyone but the supervisor, and maybe him too, is an illegal alien. Wait until you are told that this country is theirs, that they are in the process of taking it back, and there is nothing I can do about it. Then, tell me how you feel. When it is right in your face, for some reason that seems to take priority over pontificating over what we all wish our government would do with regard to foreign policy.

Offering them incentives to come here illegally, is why they come. Free education, free healthcare, birthright citizenship, etc. It is never going to stop until these goodies are taken away. But, when I get really pissed off at this, I imagine having a double wall, with coin or debit card operated guns mounted atop the most inside wall. Where fathers can take their sons to teach them to shoot. “No son. You have to lead them a bit. Try again.” Seriously, I am sick of letting our country be overrun by all kinds of countries and who knows how many terrorists and diseases long ago eradicated here, that are being brought in. At least let Texas citizens go deal with the issue, if government won’t!!!! We are just sitting on our asses while our country has been driven off of a cliff. I am getting older. At this point, I just hope the country doesn’t finish falling while I am still alive. But, we are leaving young people and their kids with far less than we were born into. It is sad. If we stand any chance at all, we need a whole lot of more people that do what Thomas Massie did, all over our state and local governments. But, it is going to require more than being a keyboard warrior. The question is, how badly do we really want to turn this around? Are we willing to go all out like Thomas did?

I was confused because the author of the article is Lew Rockwell, who runs Mises.org. Both are very libertarian. Just remember that just as is the case with Republicans, not all libertarians agree on everything, either. Lew wrote this article to explain to those libertarians who want open borders, why it won’t work.

Huh? Are you taking issue with the article? Did you even read the article? Because he is explaining, mostly to libertarians, why open borders is absolutely nuts. Especially with the welfare state that we have. It is at least the second time that he has written an article about this. The other time is in my sig . What exactly did you take issue with?

Have you seen any evidence that Trump was behind Fauci funding it through a back door? How is it that you think Trump is responsible for what Fauci and the Wuhan lab did? Because I would like to see it. From what I saw, Trump tries to be friendly to every leader; especially those he is needing to sway. Are you thinking it would be better to punch ‘em in the gut first? lol Do you know who is in office now? Because it ain’t Trump. It is whoever is pulling the strings for Biden that is funding Israel and selling them weapons with our own money. And it is the current administration egging on a war with Russia. If I recall, Trump talked of getting out of NATO. He was attacked for saying it, but he said it.

Are you saying you did that? If so, hope it was fun for you, because who else would care? Far from perfect, but after Rand dropped out, by far the best choice in my opinion. Probably because I agreed with you. What you seem to not get is that I havenít hung out here hardly at all in the last years. When I do post about political things, I usually do it where it is doing more than preaching to the choir. I said plenty about the jabs, the masks, the lockdowns, the censorship and a whole lot of other similar topics. I just rarely do it here. It takes two to tango. But we probably should apologize to the moderators. Sorry guys.

Tulsa, if you look back at what I have already written, I have said it could be true. And that I have my eyes open. I have also played many similar scenarios in my head. I said this also, long before this. It is possible; it sure is. But for now, he has my vote. Note: Tulsa, yeah we got a few liberals. At the time. It was really exciting and encouraging. But, you know as well as I do, that the vast majority of them were outta here, even those who made it to the end of the campaign, and started loving on Bernie. I loved what we did. I know a whole lot of us put an enormous amount of time, effort and money into it. But the fact is, Ron was brushed off by most of the voters. And yes I remember all the things that went on. I was hoping Rand could grab the whatever they grab in a race, and go farther. But, his campaign was horrible. I know opinions may vary, but that is mine. So, what do we do now at the presidential level? I have said before that at this point I think our country is too far gone to be able to turn it around. Frankly I would love it if Texas seceded from the union. In my opinion, we are never going to get one of our guys as President. Those guys are pre-selected. So regardless of who we vote for, we get one of their guys. The mainstream media and all the various machinery ensures that. Trump had the chance of being different, because he had such name recognition. His team also seemed to understand how to use social media to get Trump’s platform out. Could he also be a bad guy? Yup, sure could.

Hey I live in Fort Smith and am a Ron Paul supporter (maxed out). I'm looking for some local activists. Can you email me at averyknapp@gmail.com I saw an old post of yours. Do you know who had the Fort Smith Ron Paul office back in 2007-2008?
  4. People would rather just dismiss ANYTHING against their beliefs or ideals EVERYWHERE. It ticks me off, not saying I agree or disagree with anything BUT at least debate the person or prove them wrong.

thank you for the words and I do believe there are more who think like we do than those who want to simply say "burn him at the stake" just because he asked a damn question....

    Hi,
I'm writing you because you were making sense when no one else was in the Neanderthal/Aborigines thread . There's a lot of kooky people in the Ron Paul camp and a lot of strange ideas. However strange and kooky people get doesn't give people the right to flame them. I am ashamed of what I observed in this thread. I saw nothing in the whole thread that would justify banning the OP.

Ron Paul Will Decriminalize Marijuana - What's Your Thoughts On It?

by newyearsrevolution08 on 06-27-2011 at 06:33 AM
There are plenty of medical marijuana patients who support Ron Paul including myself who want to see him elected president. Now it isn't simply because of the legalization or decriminalization efforts but because Ron Paul is the ONLY presidential candidate who would finally allow us the rights and liberties our proud patriots once had.

Our country is failing right before our eyes and it will take strong efforts on our part to make sure that Ron Paul can and DOES get elected president.
